Peace of Mind When Pets Left Behind
Any pet related job is really not a job to me — it’s pure fun. I have two gorgeous American Akitas and a family of five chinchillas. I create pet products for pet parents. I love playing with Kumason and Himeko. I take them everywhere and really like making up games and training them. I spoil them like crazy! I feel that trust, perseverance and patience is the key to earning their respect and leads to success in what you’re trying to achieve. I have never yelled or hit my fur babies. I am big on body language and have a gentle and soft spoken approach. I am fine with all breeds of dogs and all temperaments I’m willing to learn cat care as well. Please be advised that I will not use retractable leashes. I am happy to bring my own 6 foot leather leash that branches out with two snaps that I use on my two very large Akitas. I like to wrap the straps around my hand several times; and feel this is more secure than just holding a handle to a retractable leash. I do not offer Rover services to care for pets in my home as I have two Akitas. I do offer Rover services to care for pets at your home such as Drop-in visits, Dog Walking and House Sitting.

Wendy was incredible house/dog sitting while we were on vacation! She was extremely communicative leading up to and during the house sitting. We would highly recommend using her and certainly will book her again in the future! Thanks again Wendy!
Wendy was very diligent with her time with Jaxson. We had a meet & greet before she watched him and then she sent a follow up questionnaire regarding his habits, medications, etc. She is very detailed and makes sure the your pet is happy and safe when she is watching them. She provided several pictures and updates throughout her visit with our dog. We were assured that he was in good hands the entire time. She really cares for her own dogs and the ones that she is watching! I would highly recommend her in the future.
This was our first vacation stay with Wendy for our 2 beagles. After some howling (haha) they settled right in and became best buddies including hogging up the bed at night with her. I appreciate all the reassurance, pictures and continual feedback throughout our whole vacation. Knowing they are safe and happy in their home makes vacation much more relaxing. Thank you Wendy see you for our next trip!
I can't say enough wonderful things about Wendy and the care she provided my dog. I felt so informed and comfortable knowing that she was with him. Pictures and updates were shared throughout her time with him which were so appreciated and allowed us to know he was safe, happy and being cared for with the utmost attention. We came home to such a happy pup! I will definitely use Wendy for my dog sitting needs again. The piece of mind she provided is invaluable!

Our dogs had an hour drop in visit with Wendy, she has been with them before and did an amazing job like always. She was prompt, communicated clearly and sent lots of great photos of Henry and Maggie. I will continue to book her with confidence.

Schedule
I will have plenty if time to care for your dog or cat at your home. My Rover services include Drop-in visits, Dog Walking as well as House Sitting (overnights in your home.

- Weather & Outdoor Safety The health and safety of the pets in my care—as well as my own personal safety—are always my priority. During periods of excessive heat or humidity, extreme cold, thunderstorms, severe weather, poor air quality, or other potentially unsafe conditions, the amount of time spent outdoors will be at my discretion. Outdoor walks, playtime, and yard time may be shortened, modified, rescheduled, or replaced with appropriate indoor activities when I believe conditions could pose a health or safety risk to either the pet(s) or myself. I will always make sure pets receive appropriate bathroom breaks, exercise, attention, and care while using my professional judgment to determine what is safe and reasonable under the conditions at the time. For everyone’s safety, clients are asked to respect these decisions when weather or environmental conditions make extended outdoor activity inadvisable. I have no breed preferences. I would just like to be advised if your dog or cat has any special needs such as medical concerns, allergies or any type of fear. I would like to know if they have any sensitivities, ie maybe they don’t like their feet touched, afraid of thunder, etc. The more you can tell me about your pet, the better.
