Instead, I provide care in your home (or in the home of a friend, when sitting for them) so your dog can stay comfortable in a familiar environment. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow your instructions closely — from feeding schedules and walks to playtime routines and cuddle sessions. I make sure water bowls are always fresh, food is given on time, and your pet gets plenty of attention and exercise. I also keep your home tidy, bring in mail/packages if needed, and send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy, and loved.

About: I started taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs after retiring in 2024. My lifelong love for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes is now my daily passion! As an active retiree, I don't have any pets currently, and the house is empty and waiting for my next furry friend! I've cared for everything from dachshunds to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love cats, but I want to watch them in your home, not mine. Happy to house-sit, work overnight shifts, and care for senior dogs and puppies. Although I don't have a fenced yard, I do have miles of walking trails and parks in the community, as well as an electronic fence for any dogs that need unrestricted access to a yard. I am fully retired and spend my days caring for your pets. Rarely will your important pet be left alone, if at all. I used Rover with my senior dog, Tucker, for over 5 years and met some wonderful people. It was a relief to me when I traveled, knowing my best friend was also enjoying his time in a safe, loving home. Now I meet new animal friends every week, and it feeds my soul and theirs. Your fur baby will have a dedicated sleeping space, feeding space, and unlimited access to our yard, depending on your needs. Full access to the entire house. I encourage you to bring toys, pet beds, crates, and any other items that will make your cherished pet comfortable. We are comfortable giving medication to older dogs, working with young puppies, and customizing our days to fit your pet's regular routines (such as walks, feeding, medication, and brushing). We have access to a private dog park, but we only go there after discussing it with you in advance. Note: we have an unfenced yard but use sound/ vibration to alert your pup if s/he is trying to escape. No electricity involved, just moderate stimulation. Most dogs learn the boundaries very quickly and without any discomfort.

I've had my challenges with the dogs so for someone to come in a take over for a week seemed a little daunting however Yolanda came through with 5 stars... I have no doubt the dogs were well taken care of as all instructions left were meticulously followed and the dogs were definitely well cared for not to mention the house was cleaner then I left it. About: I have always had many animals growing up, I've taken care of little dogs and big dogs, over 90 bunnies, chickens, horses, cows, alpacas, goats at once. I lived on a ranch most of my life where I had at most, 40 goats, 4 cows, 5 horses, many dogs, many cats, 30 chickens on average, 10 alpacas. Cats are my favorite animal. I have pet sit before on many occasions. Not that it helps on this app but I have gave medicine, tended to, bandaged, cut out of fences( some animals get caught in fences), and birthed animals. About: Ive taken care of all sorts of animals all my life. I’m comfortable with all breeds, needs, and sizes. Nothing bothers me. And I can administer any medications as needed! I am currently not working and I don’t have much going on so I have all the time in the world to take care of your fur babies! I used to work at an animal shelter and a boarding facility so I know dogs body languages very well. I can walk your dog as long or little as needed. I can administer oral, topical, and injection medications as needed!

I work as a teachers aide during the day but that certainly leaves me plenty of time to care for your pets needs. I’ve being pet sitting for about 3 years now for friends, neighbors, and strangers I’ve met through others I have previously pet sat for.
