1. Ashley O.
“I really don't know where to begin! First, some background. I have traveled all around the United States for work and have been using Rover to find people to help take care of my golden retriever Nala since 2016. Through Rover, I've had fantastic success finding just the right people to help with Nala while I work. But no one, ever, has shown so much dedication and love for my dog the way Ashley has. She is professional, intelligent, extremely knowledgeable about animals and is a very kind person. The communication I received from Ashely was over the top in the best way! I loved the play by play pictures of my dog's outings. I felt like I was right there with them! Nala absolutely loves Ashely, they are best buds and I trust her completely with Nala. From all the cowgirl adventures to the fun hat fashion shows and long hikes on the beautiful trails around Grass Valley, my dog was living her best life! Ashely I can't thank you enough for taking such amazing care of Nala. We will always have fabulous memories of our time in Grass Valley. Lots of love! Nala and Vicky”
2. Nancy A.
“Nancy is super helpful and Roxy really likes her. Highly recommend.”
3. Sonya S.
“Sonya does an excellent job! Not only is she great with my crazy pup, her background in animal nutrition has been an invaluable resource as I am working to improve my dogs diet. I appreciate her availability and wonderful care!”
4. Anitra C.
“I was impressed with how Anitra took care of my sweet Tank Girl. I went on a two week trip overseas and I didn’t want to leave my dog, aka best friend, at a shelter. We met up before the trip and Tank and Anitra connected easily. While I was away I received updates, she played with her, fed and walked her, and I could tell Anitra really cared for my dog. Anitra went above and beyond. I could tell Tank loved and enjoyed her time with Anitra.”
5. Dana P.
About: I’ve had at least 3 dogs in my house for about 10 years. Currently my husband and I live close to downtown Grass Valley, Ca. I have 4 bedrooms and a medium to large fenced backyard. We currently have 2 females medium to large dogs in the house. Both dog friendly but I can make adjustments if needed. I can host 1 dog at a time at my house or as many pets as you have at your house. I’ve got a flexible schedule so with at least a day notice I can make it work! Hit me up if you need anything. I can stop by, walk, house sit or board. I have a flexible schedule currently but will need a day notice at least. I have other clients and a day job that allows me to be available but will need to bring a lab-top just in case. I have a fenced yard, it’s a little bit short though please see additional photos. If you’re dog is a jumper or climber we should talk about that.
6. Meredith B.
“Meredith is wonderful! This is the second time she has taken care of my pup: once in her own home and once in mine. She is responsible, easy to communicate with, and very professional. I received photo and text updates and never had any concerns. I will use her every time I need a dog sitter! Highly recommend!”
7. Jessica B.
“Jessica and her two sons were like family to my Buddy. Would highly recommend!”
8. Daniel C.
“We were fortunate enough to have Daniel care for our farm and animals. He pays attention to detail and is a wealth of knowledge. He's a great communicator and is excellent as following through. He even relocated a rattlesnake for us and taught us how to do it! He has a very kind heart!”
9. Cori S.
“Cori watches my two dogs from time to time and they love her as do I. She is trustworthy, kind and truly loves my dogs. They get spoiled with walks and a happy home to be in. I feel comfortable leaving my babies with her. She has even given my dog her medication when needed. She’s very responsible and my dogs always come home happy and loved.”
10. Sarah B.
“Sarah has been awesome with our two dogs, one being a puppy brand new to the house and the other very shy and submissive. I loved the descriptions of her time with them and her fast response time. I would 100% recommend her and will continue to use her.”
11. Kellie V.
“Kellie did an absolutely amazing job caring for Dove. She is in rebel and I would recommend her to anyone.”
12. Angelina R.
“So I am Angelina's boyfriend / best friend and I think that is important for you guys to know because of how biased I am towards how amazing she is. In terms of being a loving pet care giver, Angelina loves to play and she lives an active lifestyle. She has the commitment, energy, and passion to be a fun friend for your pet. She also loves to relax so if your pets are the ones who love to relax and watch tv, Angie will be a perfect buddy for them to lay their head on and offer them the attention, love, and comfort they want while you guys are gone. In terms of Angie's ability to be responsible, she never misses a meal. All in all, I think your homes and your pets will be in great hands if you chose Angelina :)”
13. Jessica B.
“Jess is the best. She has such a great energy to here-- our dogs took to her right away. She takes wonderful care of our boys and also our house.. we are so grateful to have her. I plan to hire her as long as she'll let me!”
14. Linda M.
About: Taking care of animals is my second nature. I grew up with animals; horses, cats, dogs, birds, rodents my entire life. I naturally feel their needs and have an unconditional love for animals I am super flexible for the summer. Tell me where you and your pet need help and I'm sure that we can work it out. I have a dog myself who loves to join walks. He is very well behaved and has taught several young dogs the code of social and healthy dog behavior. Of course I will keep your dog on a leash or in a crate when necessary
15. Kristina V.
“Kristina is amazing with our dog, Kora. She is loving, attentive, and playful. Kora enjoys going to Kristina's home and Kristina sends us pictures and videos so we can see how happy she is. I never have to worry about Kora when she is with Kristina.”
16. Micaela M.
“Micaela is responsible, professional, friendly, and loves animals. She arrives on time, and is an excellent person to take care of your pet. We have worked with her since 2012, and hired her to stay house sit with our two dogs (and a rescued Great Dane) at our home when we travel. We also have a horse, which she has helped to groom, feed, and blanket when we're away.”
17. Robin B.
“I highly recommend Robin as a responsible and loving pet caregiver. She lives with her husband, several goats, sheep, chickens and their own dog, Yuba on 6 fenced acres in Penn Valley. She is extremely conscientious with all aspects of animal care and Yuba welcomes all dogs to play and hang out. When my dog, Archie, was alive, she took care of him often and he always enjoyed being with her and Yuba.”
18. Ginevra A.
“She’s the best! Our dog immediately felt comfortable with her to go walking. She handled her with confidence showing who was in charge with gentle commands…. With our wonderful 95lb pitbull/akita. Ginevra has promptly been on time and we have had good communication. I highly recommend her !!”
19. Amelia H.
“Amelia was great with Luna! Knowing that she was taking care of Luna took so much of a weight off of my shoulders! Would recommend her to anyone. :)”
20. Mia L.
“I highly recommend Mia L. for any pet sitting or dog walking. She is very dependable and our dog and cat love her! And that’s saying a lot because our cat doesn’t like many people in his old age! But she is quite the cat whisperer. Your pets would be lucky to have her loving care.”
