About: I’ve grown up around dogs ever since I was little, some including mini poodles, rottweilers, germans shepards, boxers, and malti-poos. I trained my own dog when he was a couple months old when I was 16 and have been responsible for him ever since. I give him baths, we go on walks 1-3 times a day, and i feed and play with him. At the moment I just moved home from college and looking for something to keep me busy. I typically go to the gym everyday and whether it be before or after i’m usually free. With my own dog if i let him out in the backyard for a quick bathroom break i always go with him and when we go for walks he’s always on the leash until we get back to the house. Same would go for other dogs I will be walking. I will ensure they are on the leash at all times and that i’m paying attention and not distracted by my phone or other devices. When on longer walks I carry water with me for them and always clean up after they go to the bathroom.
About: I have been a veterinary technician for the last 19 years. I have spent the majority of that time working at a small animal practice, but also worked at an emergency and specialty practice for 4 years during that time as well. During my career, I have dealt with numerous c-sections, geriatric, diabetic, and renal patients. Meaning that, injections, SQ fluid, oral meds, etc, are not a problem.. I have also done pet sitting on the side for many years during this time as well. I have always had a love for animals. I currently own a 9 year old mixed breed dog, as well as a cat, and chinchilla. I plan accordingly, to make sure the pets needs are met before and after work shift, and spoil them extra on the days I’m off. About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family was always surrounded by pets. About: I have taken care of cats extensively in the past, cat-sitting for family and friends for weeks at a time. They relied on me to feed and generally care for cats in the past. I am eager to gain more experience with dogs, as I have always had a soft spot for them and absolutely love to walk, play with, and care for them. I currently work 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays. For now, I am available outside of those hours on weekdays as well as on weekends.
