The dogs are happy and the house was well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Jake. About: I have been around dogs all of my life and have experience with dogs of many different breeds and age ranges. Coming from previous experience at a dog boarding facility, I am trained in feeding, handling, and medicating dogs and have worked with dogs of various levels of aggression. Please note that I don't have any experience with cats. This is what I do, so I can be on-call 24 hours for the days that I am available. I have my own dog that I take care of, but I can usually fit your pet into my routine! Please keep in mind that, while I do accept same day booking for some services, any service requested with less than 24 hours notice will come with an additional 50% fee. I currently cannot board dogs since my apartment is not big enough to house more than one dog. When caring for dogs, I make sure to give them the attention and space they require. Please instruct me or provide me with details on how you want your dog to be cared for (and also if your dog has any allergies, I love to give treats!!!)

About: Caring for animals has always been something that comes naturally to me. I’ve spent years around dogs and other pets, helping friends, family, and neighbors with walking, feeding, playtime, and overnight care. I’m comfortable working with dogs and any animal of different sizes, ages, and temperaments, from energetic puppies that need lots of exercise to older dogs that prefer slower walks and extra care. I always focus on creating a calm, safe, and positive environment so pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. Currently work part time at nights and weekends predominantly so I have morning/daytime availablility during the week while you are at work! Can also do overnights any day of the week. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I always follow each pet’s routine, care instructions, and any special needs provided by the owner to make sure they feel secure and well cared for. I maintain a calm, clean, and safe environment where pets can relax and feel at home. Whether it’s during a walk, a drop in visit, or extended care, I always keep a close eye on pets and make sure they are safe, comfortable, and happy at all times. I’m attentive to behavior, body language, and any changes in mood or energy so I can respond quickly if something seems off. I also make sure pets have fresh water, proper feeding, plenty of exercise or playtime, and lots of affection. Communication is very important to me, so I provide updates, photos, and messages to keep owners informed and reassured while they’re away. My goal is to create a safe, trustworthy experience where both pets and their owners feel completely at ease.

“Rebecca was absolutely fantastic with our fur babies! We have a cat and an older dog with digestive issues that requires specific care. Usually, we travel with our pets, but unfortunately, this time, we couldn’t. I’m a nervous wreck when I leave them with anyone else because of past experiences and illnesses that have occurred in my absence. Before booking, Rebecca was completely transparent about any prior commitments that might take her away from our home for a few hours. She wanted to ensure that this would still be a good fit for our dog’s well-being. I really appreciated that Rebecca was incredibly kind and attuned to the needs of our animals. She handled them with the utmost patience and understanding. I believe her to be incredibly trustworthy, and both our dog and cat absolutely adored her. I received countless photos, videos, and updates of our dog doing her happy dance, taking naps, and snuggling up on the couch with Rebecca. One day our dog had an upset stomach which is always a cause for concern with her chronic health issues, and Rebecca went above and beyond to ensure that she did everything possible to care for her properly. She kept me fully in the loop and even offered to cook rice and broth for her in case she needed to settle her stomach. I mentioned that sweet potato usually helps her eat again if needed, and Rebecca offered to drive and pick one up so that she could ensure it was a good quality for my dog, rather than me having one delivered to the house: Thankfully my dog finally decided to eat her food and got better in the evening but like I said, she went above and beyond. I would/will hire Rebecca again and entrust her with our fur babies without hesitation. She was simply phenomenal and is a pet owner’s dream come true. I can do nights and evening mostly I do instacart on the side but not that often thanks.
