“Hannah was wonderful! Hannah was really responsive anytime I contacted her and flexible with everything I asked or needed. She was so sweet and attentive to my little furkids and they were so well taken care of. They loved her!”

“Teagan was amazing. Petey was so well taken care of, she even took him on a hike, I came home to a very happy dog. I felt very comfortable leaving him with Teagan.”

“Shanae was super communicative and sent us plenty of pictures and videos of our three dogs. When we returned, the house was clean and the dogs were calm with no accidents inside despite our arrival time being delayed by two hours. She treated them like her own and I couldn't ask for better.”

“My parents and I have two extremely anxious rescue dogs that we needed to find a late night dog sitter for since we were attending a wedding. Finn and Kas are so gentle and calm, they made me feel at ease since I was also nervous having strangers watch them. They sent many updates, good communication, and took great care of the home. I totally trust they genuinely care for people's pets and would 1000% book again/recommend to anyone. The dogs were very happy! Thank you again ❣️”
“Desiree was great with Madison when she watched yer for the weekend. She was also very responsive to messages and sent photos of our baby. We would definitely hire Desiree again to watch Madison.”

“Courtney was fantastic, start to finish. She was great with sending updates and pictures, and I never had a doubt that our dogs were well taken care of and loved while we were away. Courtney even did some extra cleaning at the house that was certainly above and beyond. Would recommend her without a moment’s hesitation, though selfishly I’d like to keep her calendar open for our pups.”

“Genelle is a top of the line dog sitter! She went above and beyond in her care, communication and the attention she rained on our fur babies. We enjoyed our vacation knowing they were in great hands. She even went as far as cooking their Sat and Sun eggs for them. She let us know that one of our dogs was eating grass and had a rumbling belly, so she make white rice to calm her tummy. I will not hesitate to reach out to her again. Big thanks, Genelle. You’re the best.”

“Megan took great care of our fur babies for a long weekend! We have senior dogs who need extra care, time, and attention and Megan was great with them. She made herself available to be home with them most of the time and did well with their medication and feeding schedule. She sent daily updates and pictures. You can tell when your dog has been stressed when you’re gone, Daisy and Frankie were chill and happy when we returned! Highly recommend Megan!”

“Malia made sure to send us updates on our boys while we were out of the country and it eased our minds to know they were happy and well taken care of! Our boys seem to have a great time with Malia and we came back to happy pups!!”

“Rayna was wonderful with our kitty! She spent almost a week with him and I could tell he took to her quickly from the pics she sent. We will definitely rebook in the future. Our kitty loved her.”

“Kalyn took incredible care of our animals (1 pup, 2 kitties) and gave us absolute peace of mind while we were out of town. She was incredibly communicative, asked insightful questions to make sure she was understanding each of our little floofs and their quirks, got a reluctant cat to take his meds everyday, and gave everyone plenty of snuggles. They loved her instantly and welcomed her in as part of the family. Kalyn also was a magnificent steward of our house while staying for overnights. I cannot wait to welcome her back again!”

“GUYS! When I tell you my boxer is my baby I mean you can’t convince me that I didn’t birth him. I am CRAZED about who takes care of him while I’m gone because he is going through chemo and I don’t want just anyone. Gess is beyond words. Updates, pictures, you name it. I KNEW he was getting the attention and love he needed. And honestly, my house was cleaner than when I left it a week ago …. 10/10 as a dog sitter and 100/100 as an overall human.”
“We loved having Emily taking care of our fur babies. She went beyond her responsibilities to ensure they would be taken care properly. For example one day she bought more of wet food for the cat as we haven't provided enough. Those small things make all the difference Thank you”

“By far this was the best experience I have ever had with a pet sitter. So trustworthy, reliable, on time. So professional ! We received lots of pics with daily updates. Will definitely use Alyssia again the next time we need a pet sitter.”

“Catherine was excellent! She took great care of my pup and was very communicative throughout her stay. She also left my home super clean and well cared for. Will definitely be booking her again!”

We were so lucky to find Ashlynn for a last-minute holiday weekend booking! She was incredibly flexible and even extended her stay when our travel plans changed. All three of our dogs immediately loved her. It’s obvious she has extensive experience and she was able to adapt to each of my dogs’ unique personalities and needs with ease. She sent regular updates and photos, and made sure our puppy stayed safe and comfortable during her very first Fourth of July. Ashlynn went above and beyond, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and experienced sitter.

5/5 Stars – Highly Recommend! I am so grateful to have found Shanae to watch my dogs. She was absolutely fantastic with them! It truly put my mind at ease to see how happy and well-cared-for they were while I was away—honestly, they didn't look like they missed me at all! Shanae was incredibly communicative, sending me consistent updates along with pictures and videos every single day. It was wonderful to see them having such a great time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my pups. I will definitely be booking her again!

What a wonderful young lady! Shayna and Stella instantly bonded and it was easy to see Stella enjoyed being with her. When I came home, I'm not sure if Stella was gladder to see me or sadder to see Shayna leave. Although the stay was only for two days and one night Shayna kept me informed of their activities including pictures. I definitely will ask Shayna to care for Stella the next time I go out of town.

Megan took great care of our fur babies for a long weekend! Highly recommend Megan!

Lili stayed with our senior dog and our cat for a long holiday weekend - she took great care of our girls including giving them their medications and getting to know their habits to make sure they were comfortable! She gave great daily updates and was quick to answer any questions we had

We cannot say enough amazing things about our pet sitter! She watched our two cats and our black lab while we were away for the weekend, and truly treated them like they were her own. She went above and beyond in every possible way—doing things she didn’t even have to—just because she genuinely cares. She was incredibly communicative the entire time, sending updates and keeping us totally at ease. Our animals absolutely adored her, and it showed! We came home to happy, relaxed pets and a spotless house. If you’re looking for someone who will love your animals just as much as you do, she’s the one. Highly, highly recommend

FAQs for House Sitting - Paw Creek
Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Paw Creek on Rover is $38.85 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 3,157 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Paw Creek. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Paw Creek walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Paw Creek maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Paw Creek choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
