About: I've had dogs and other pets my entire life, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, quirks, and comfort level, and I take the time to learn what makes each pet feel at home. I recently spent almost 13 years caring for my Golden Retriever, Whiskey, who was a huge part of my everyday life. That experience taught me the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, companionship, and paying attention to the little changes in a dog's behavior. I’m comfortable with the everyday responsibilities that come with having a dog—from feeding and walks to keeping them comfortable, entertained, and included in the household. My goal with Rover is to provide a calm, safe, and genuinely loving home where your dog can feel like a guest rather than being treated like they're staying at a kennel. I prefer to keep boarding personal and manageable, with plenty of one-on-one attention and time together. I’m happy to follow your dog's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications or special instructions, sleeping arrangements, and any habits that help them feel comfortable. I also understand that being away from their owner can be stressful for some dogs, so I’m patient and attentive when they need extra reassurance. Most importantly, I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else. My goal is for you to feel confident that your dog is safe, comfortable, cared for, and getting plenty of attention while you're away. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and when keeping pets on office days come home for lunch and do 3 hour mornings/afternoons so they are never alone for long! I have a fenced in backyard and your dog has the entire house and all furniture to find their spot. I don't crate unless it is requested by owner.

Our little Milo stayed with Alexis two weeks and with Milo’s separation anxiety we knew it will be difficult for him at the begging but Alexis sent us many updates during the day which was wonderful. Our two dogs had THE BEST time with Katelyn for 4 days! She made sure to take them out to run in her big fenced yard whenever there was a break in the rain which they loved. We met her dog in advance and they all got along great before we booked. She sent multiple pics every day so we knew they were in good hands. She even gave Tigger a treat to fill his belly when he wasn’t eating much! We’d highly recommend her!
