I live on my own and work remotely from home, therefore I have the flexibility to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine. I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day, ensuring they feel cared for and comfortable. Whether it’s playtime, multiple potty breaks or cuddles, I can adapt my schedule to meet their needs while maintaining a safe and fun environment for them!

As a lifelong dog owner, I know how important it is to provide a clean, comfortable, and safe home for pets. I recently purchased my first home in Charlotte, and it features a large fenced yard located on a cul de sac corner lot offering lots of safety and privacy. My yard is spacious, clean and ideal for my Bodhi and his friends to run, play, and even sun bathe on the deck! Bodhi is house-trained, neutered, extremely friendly with other pets, and loves to play! I joined Rover not only because of my love for animals, but also for the ability to socialize Bodhi with other furry friends in the comfort of our home. Lastly, my home is stocked with plenty of toys to keep your furry friends entertained! I live a very active lifestyle, and enjoy going on long walks, playing outdoors... Your pets will be treated like family and kept happy and busy during their entire stay!

Before onboarding your dog, I’d like to gather some important details to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for during their stay: - Is your dog aggressive or reactive in any way? - Do they get along well with other dogs, or do they prefer to be separated? - How often do they need to be fed, and what’s their potty routine? - Can they have treats, and are there any dietary restrictions? - Do they have any special needs or specific requests I should accommodate? Lastly, I don’t enforce meet & greets as I’m confident Bodhi will get along with just about any dog. He’s absolutely harmless, and I’ve never had issues in the past. If you however suggest your dog may be reactive, or just want to ensure everyone gets along, let me know and we’ll get one booked prior to boarding to be safe! :) Feel free to let me know if there’s anything else I should be aware of. I’m flexible and happy to adjust to meet your dog’s needs!
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy and entertained during their stay! For dogs that enjoy active play, I love playing fetch, tug-of-war (for those that can handle it), or even a fun game of frisbee in the yard. I also enjoy mentally stimulating activities like hiding treats for them to find or using food puzzles and interactive kibble toys to keep their minds sharp. My dog Bodhi uses a feeding mat, and it takes him roughly about 20 minutes to scavenge for all his kibble, it’s a great way to keep him mentally stimulated outside of his normal physical activities!

Hi pet parents! My name is Mathias, and I’ve been a dog owner my whole life. I currently own a precious Pug named Bodhi, which I house trained quickly and is the joy of my life, and I absolutely love taking care of other pets! Profile highlights: I own a home with a spacious newly fenced yard, work remotely, live alone with no kids, absolutely love pets, own a sweet friendly pug, & have 15+ years of dog care experience providing top quality service! I’ve boarded multiple pups of all ages, and I’m experienced with many different personalities. From shy, reactive, anxious, to high energy, I accommodate each boarding accordingly to ensure comfort and safety, therefore all are welcome! :) Currently offering boarding, day care, drop in’s and dog walks. Add on services include personal pick up/drop off & bath/grooming! I also live 10 minutes from the airport, making it a convenient drop off location for traveling parents on the go! The best! He knows dog behavior so well and can really understand their body language/interactions. We know mowgli is in the best care!
Mathias was amazing with Flash. Flash is very nervous with new people, and he was very patient with him. He kept me updated and was all around a pleasant person to deal with. If I ever need someone to watch him again I’ll go to him, I’d recommend him to anyone I know that needed a dog sitter.
Mathias was great!! I have an extremely nervous pup and he made her (and myself) feel very comfortable! Will use him again.
