Information Genelle C. would like to know about your pet

I love all sizes and breeds! Before pet sitting I would like to know about a pet's personality, their temperament with people and other animals, what his or her normal routine is, and if they have any medical conditions I should be aware of.

A typical day

The time I spend with your pet depends on the pet's needs, the owner's preferences, and what my schedule allows. I prefer to do drop in visits 3-4 times a day (at a rate lower than my overnight stay) with a minimum of 2-3 hrs spent with your pet that includes walks, playtime, some TLC, and just hanging out. If your pet has special needs or separation anxiety we can devise a plan for keeping them happy and healthy while you're away. Extra house-sitting services/pet services While you're away for drop-in visits or overnight stays I can bring in mail and newspapers. For an additional fee I am also willing to give pet baths (with owner provided products) and do light household cleaning.

Will Care For Your Pets Like My Own

Pet care experience

I'm a huge animal lover who's responsible, trustworthy, and experienced. I’ve taken care of a variety of animals, and my goal is to keep your pet(s) happy, healthy, and stress free. I've owned German shepherds, Laborador retrievers, staffies, mixed dog breeds, domestic cats, iguanas, turtles, and fish. I have experience administering medicine, veterinary care, and in recognizing detrimental medical conditions. Not only did I grow up pet sitting around my neighborhood, but am certified in pet first aid & CPR, I have 9 years of experience working in no-kill animal shelters, veterinary hospitals, zoos, and fostering animals. I also have two years of veterinary school under my belt. I've been an animal lover all my life. It can be a lot of work, but I enjoy being a person an animal can rely on and providing them with the care and attention they need to make them feel at ease while their family is away.

Genelle was amazing with our dogs! Frequent updates with photos, treats, snuggles, and took great care of the house, too! Our two dogs can’t wait to have her stay with us again!
