Cleveland Dog LoverOld Brooklyn, Cleveland, OH

I live with one rescued dog and 5 rescued cats in a house with a fenced in back yard. (For 4 years I volunteered at the Brooklyn Animal Shelter, and that is where all my cats are from). In the fall of 2014 for 3 months, I fostered two dogs for a homeless woman. I enjoyed the experience so much, I decided to open my home to more dogs.

Boarding fees: There is a $25 charge for the first 24 hours. I am happy to have your dog longer than 24 hours, but after the first 3 hours, I will charge you a day care fee of $20.

Holiday fee: For Thanksgiving and Christmas, I will be charging an additional $5 a day.

Providing Loving Care for DogsHudson, OH

Providing loving professional pet care!

About this sitter:

Hi,

My name is Jean, and my husband Russ and I are Professional Pet Care Providers and pet owners just like you. We have been married over 25 years, and have been caring for pets for all of that time. Over the years we have cared for dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles and other exotic pets.

We know how difficult it can be to have to leave your pets in the care of others. That's why we started Pet Joy - pet sitters. Pets have always been a major part of both of our lives and an integral part of our family. We have a deep love and passion for animals and their health and wellness.

We care for ALL of our client's pets with the same responsibility, love and attention we give our own pets.

We are insured and bonded so that your home is safe and secure and well cared for just like your pets.

Jean & Russ

Why I love dog sitting

We have always had dogs our whole lives, and we both love them very much. We have both worked with dogs for the last 26 years of our marriage. We have taken many training and first aid classes as well as caring for so many dogs over the years.

About my yard

We have a large 2 acre back yard that is completely fenced in with a 5.5 foot fence. It is mostly grass with several large trees for shade.

We also have a small fenced in side yard for quick potty time.

My experience administering medication

Yes and we have experience medicating with pills, eye ointments, ear drops, and giving injections.

We currently have 2 dogs ourselves and enjoy every minute we have with them. We take them on a 2 mile walk everyday (when the weather is decent) and we have a large fenced in backyard for them to play in. Our dogs names are Jack and Jill and they are Pomeranians. They love to play and play and would enjoy playing with other dogs. We don't offer any discounts.

5th Annual HOLIDAY DOGG CAMP!Puritas Longmead, Cleveland, OH

🐾🐾 My “5th Annual Holiday Doggie Camp”

I am once again, offering my Holiday dog camp, committed to your dogs care throughout this Holiday season! Lots of walks, and activities, (or non activities for those who need lots of quiet nap time, or “lap time” watching tv!)...

Your dogs emotional wellness and safety is most important to me!

I have been a full time ROVER sitter since June 2015! I focus on individualized care and attention to all of my Rover dogs!

I dogsit dogs from small to large. Your dogs live with me in my home.

I take into consideration the size and behavior/temperaments of your canine companion. My overnight rates generally begin at $35-45/ night for small dogs, $45-55/night medium dogs, to $65 for large dogs, $75/night Xlg dogs. * Holiday rates subject to slightly higher, depending on length of stay. *

PLEASE INQUIRE by sending a booking request, WITH DETAILS & PHOTO about YOUR CANINE COMPANION.

I have a large cement wall/fenced back yard.

I supervise all outside time, as well as do walks. The dogs are inside with me, when I’m inside. I am home with the dogs the entire stay. I do not crate, unless you request it and bring your own crate.

Thank you for your trust in having your canine companions stay with me, while you are away!

It's like a Doggie Camp!

* Holiday Rates are slightly higher.

* I also have a regular client reward program, for repeating clients.

FLEAS/TICKS!... EEEW!...

I have a "Flea & tick free property!

NO FLEAS or ticks PLEASSSSE!

Make sure your dogs are on a flea free-preventative program, and have had a current bath/grooming, in the past month!

Dogs can pickup fleas on walks, and at parks, or other public dog areas, so it's important for YOUR DOG, and my other Rover dogs, that dogs are on a flea-preventative program!

If your dog goes to the woods, they should also be on a tick preventative.

***Ticks are expected to be a huge, spreading problem this year!... please use tick control for your loved ones, when visiting woods, or country where ticks are looking for a "host!"

I ❤️❤️❤️ Dogs! I'm very happy to have yours come stay with me!

A day/overnight, rate is based on 24 hrs. A daycare rate will be added if your pickup is 24-32. Add another day of board if after 32 hrs.

❤️I specialize in individualized care and attention for your companions. I understand their behavioral and emotional needs while they are away from their homes. I provide walks, and am home the entire time with them.

There's plenty of exercise and playtime, here at my little” Ranchette.”

ROXY is my medium sized female German Shepard.

I also have a Siberian Husky, "Woofie.”

My dogs are great companions and understand our visiting ROVER dogs. They have been used to Rover dogs visiting, full time for the past 5 years!

Your canine companion will be attended to by me solely, the entire stay.

I strive to make the transition of their leaving their family and home, to my home, comfortable and stress free.

My method of dog sitting is to be their new friend, to keep them safe, happy, show them a good time, and be comfortable. If needed, I use simple corrective words, I do not micro-manage them, or scold or yell.

I too appreciate the quality of a harmonious environment, and as stress free as possible.

I praise for positive behavior, and I lead with soft, confident assurance that they can trust. They "live with me," free to roam my house, and go outside in the backyard. I do not "crate" unless an owner prefers and brings their own crate.

Please tell me a little about your dog.

I am not a dog trainer. I ask that you be up front if your dog has any behavioral issues, (such as excessive nonstop barking, anti-social, biting/fighting, chewing furniture, etc, haha).

Even tho I seem to get a lot of large dog bookings, Small dogs love it here too!

I do have many many small dog clients!

•Dogs need to be up to date on vaccines.

•Dogs under one year, must provide proof of vaccines, and the Veterinarians phone number, for me to verify vaccines, and the age vaccines were given.

•Food; what food are you feeding?

I will feed the diet you provide, whether a raw diet, simple or complex.

🐾🐾 I have over 30 years of experience with large and small animals.

🐺 My professional experience has included, setting up and managing Sunset Animal Hospital, with Dr. John Murphy, in West Hollywood.

I worked with Dr. Marty Goldstein, Holistic Veterinarian, New York. Most recently, I worked as Veterinary technician at La Pet Clinic, in Hollywood, with Dr. Gaetan Reina.

I have worked in the companion animal field since 1982, starting as a groomer, then Holistic health-nutritional consultant with Pat Mc Kay Nutritional Center, and setting up animal hospitals and boarding facilities, training staff, and managing the clinics.

❤️ I offer individualized care, first and foremost. Whatever is best for the safety and health, and well-being of the dogs.

• I ask you to provide your dogs FEED.

No need to bring food or water bowls. I have new, clean stainless steel bowls.

• You may bring any beds, blankets, (as long as they are also freshly laundered, and flea free!) Also chew bones, BULLY STICKS, are a good transitioning aide, for comfort. Toys, or any t-shirt with your scent is fine also. You may bring anything you think your dog may like to have on his/her stay.

• PLEASE BE SURE YOUR DOG HAS A CURRENT, UP TO DATE INFO ID TAG on the dogs collar, WITH YOUR CURRENT PHONE NUMBER.

• I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOGS BE MICRO-CHIPPED, in addition to ID TAGS.

• It is recommended dogs have a dog license tag on their collar as well.

I am spreading the word that everyone should have their dog MICROCHIPPED, for your sake, and the sake of your dog. (Tho, it is not a requirement to stay with me.)

Special diets, Raw foods, Supplements, Medications, and special medical care are no problem, I've done it all in my years of experience.

Thank you for your interest, please send me a sitting request, along with a description of your dogs personality, and any questions you may have for me.

PLEASE!…if your dog is aggressive to people or other dogs, destructive with property; i.e.; ripping window screens, chewing mattresses, furniture, or any other vices, please just be up front with me, and I will do my best to work on the issues with the dog.

• You can send me a booking request, and drop off, or you may also request a meet and greet.

I understand what it IS to leave your canine companion somewhere, with someone new.

The following foods are highly recommended;

Acana, Orejen, Canidae, Merrick, Core,....

Hi ! Nicole & Dave here (:

WE WANT TO PLAY WITH YOUR DOGS!!

We have 11 furbabies of our own (9 dogs, 2 cats)(Zeus: Weimaraner/Doberman), Louie:(White shepherd/husky/border collie, boxer), Jax: (Siberian Husky), Nova(Mixed), Phoenix(Siberian Husky), Pumba(Siberian Husky), Pepper(Siberian Husky), Nadia(Siberian Husky), Sydra(Siberian Husky), Sarabi(kitty cat), & Ninja “Ninni”(kitty cat). They are all very friendly/playful so hopefully your pup is too. We love to take our dogs on hikes/walks through the metroparks when ever we get the chance, so we would be willing to add your pup to our adventure pack too as long as they have permission from you. We would be happy to work on basic commands with your puppy/dog during their stay as well, but we are NOT licensed trainers. Our large backyard is fully fenced in(half privacy/half chain link- 5’-6’ tall) and has lots of tall trees to provide shade in the summer. I am always outside when the dogs are outside to prevent any escapes, fights & the potential ingestion of any foreign objects like sticks or small stones. I have experience working with all types of dogs, but Siberian Huskies are my specialty(we also breed them). We believe that all pups coming into our care should be treated as if they are our own(with lots of love!). We want your pup to feel like they’re on vacation while you’re away, so we will make sure to spoil them with lots of fun activities(mental/physical stimulation), love, & treats (if allowed).Large crates are available for overnight stays(if needed); you are always welcome to bring your own crate. We are willing to take in non-crated dogs as long as they are okay with cats & have good house manners(must also be crate trained). We have the ability to separate any pups who may not get along. We can also keep cats separate from the dogs if necessary. At least one of us will be home with the dogs all day with the occasional errand here & there(we never run errands during daycare). Dogs may be crated during the day for at most 4-5 hours but will still receive appropriate exercise on those days. Our house has easy access to the highway & is about 15 minutes from Cleveland Hopkins Airport. Lets set up a date for daycare to see if our four legged friends are a good match!

ALL DOGS MUST:

(Please be prepared to show proof)

*Be on flea, tick, heartworm prevention(no natural/over the counter remedies)

*UTD on all shots(bordetella is mandatory)

Reliable, fun, friendly pet sitterLyndhurst, OH

Hello-

Thanks for viewing my profile and giving me a chance to tell you a bit about myself and why I would like to meet and take care of your dogs and cats.

I love animals and grew up surrounded by many different types of animals. As far as dogs go, we had the whole gamut of breeds-from Great Danes and Malamutes, to Pomeranians, as well as many mixed-breeds. I was taught to treat them with kindness, respect and dignity and have passed that principle on to my children as well.

Cats came into my life a bit later, but have a special place in my heart with their quirky personalities and antics. I adopted my first cat in college and am a fan ever since!

Along with my childhood experiences, I was a pet sitter during my college years so have a great deal of experience taking care of other peoples pets, as well as the experience of having my own pets.

I am responsible and reliable, and am able to make myself available on a somewhat flexible schedule. I am able to provide you with references and reviews.

I am always looking forward to meeting and taking care of new animal friends, and will make sure they receive the attention and love they deserve. I hope to have the opportunity to meet you and your special family, and to take care of them when you are not able to be there.

With best wishes-

Sandra

Your Dog Is Just Like One of the Family!Cleveland Heights, OH

I am a retired elementary school teacher who lives in a nice home in Cleveland Heights with a back yard. I have plenty of free time and love all types of dogs! I also own my own dog, a 5 year old schipperke who is neutered, very sweet and loves other dogs. I would enjoy taking care of other dogs at my home and am totally capable of doing so since I am a dog lover and have had many different breeds throughout my life.

About this sitter:

I'm a retired elementary school teacher who has plenty of free time and love in my heart -- Your dog and I would get along great!

Why I love dog sitting

My entire life I've owned dogs. All different types of breeds, from Welsh Corgis to Pit Bulls to Patterdale Terriers -- The list goes on. I love all types of dogs and treat them like my children!

Meet my pets

I have a 5-year-old Schipperke who is neutered, very sweet and loves other dogs. I also have a 15-year-old tabby cat who is very reserved and chooses to keep her distance from other animals. She is not aggressive.

About my yard

My backyard is fenced in with a few gaps in the fencing, which is why we use a dog run which allows us to let the dog play in the backyard while attached to a leash so they won't run away! Theres plenty of space in the yard for the dogs to do whatever they want!

My experience administering medication

Yes, I have been administering medication to my own dogs for 30+ years!

Lovin' Family Dog BoardingCleveland Heights, OH

Hello! I have had dogs in my life for the past 30 years. I live with my daughter and our new dog, a gentle rescue mutt. We are all (including daughter) up to date on our shots. :)

We lost our oldest Pug, Gus, who was a part of our family for 15 years. This past December we lost our 13 year old pug. So, needless to say, we are very capable of taking care of Senior dogs!

I am a school employee so I am off work during the summer and holidays. During the school year I leave the house at 6:45am and return around 3:30pm. I sometimes have a friend come over and let the dogs out once during the day. However, that is not guaranteed. Your dog that stays with us during the work day should be able to be alone in the house, or in his crate, without problems.

I will take any dog breed or size as long as he/she is SPAYED OR NEUTERED.

My daughter and I would love to meet your family! We live in an east side suburb. Sometimes I can do pick up and drop off for a small fee if that is easier for you. Please don't hesitate to call me if you have ANY questions at all.

First Time Clients - meet and greets will be outside on my deck so we can practice social distancing.

All Clients - Drop offs and pick ups will be on the back deck. Don't bring water or food bowls unless they need a special one and only bring their favorite items.

* From July 6 - August 7 I will have my son's puppy. I'm leaving my calendar open and will consider taking a client if it will be a good fit - just reach out!

I live in Lakewood and was owned by my sweet Beagle, Silas for 13-1/2 years. Instead of getting another dog after he passed I decided to start dog sitting and bring a bunch of different dogs into my life!

I understand how difficult it is to find someone that you trust to care for your best friend. My home and yard are both secure and I am extremely experienced at not letting the dog out! I would love for you to feel comfortable and fully enjoy yourself knowing that your pet is being taken care of. As my dog got older, it became apparent that a boarding facility can be stressful for the pet and the owner. There's nothing like staying in a "homey" environment. I'm here to make the time away, for both you and your pet, worry-free and enjoyable.
