Walk, run or hike with your pup!
Our pets are our most humble, forgiving and loving family -- I always grew up with pets at home, but since moving out and starting a family of my own, we don’t have any. This said, my doors are open to your fur babies! I am an animal lover and have had multiple pets for as long as I can remember (dogs, cats, birds, crabs, hamsters, fish, you name it!). I've always lived by the motto "treat others how you would want to be treated" and I believe this goes for animals too. Please rest assured that my house is your pet's home away from home and they will definitely receive the love and pampering they deserve. I want you to be able to relax while you're away, knowing your pet is in safe, loving hands! Whether your pet likes to go on frequent walks, run around outside, go on a hike, or simply chill out, I am open to all possibilities as I LOVE the company of a fur friend. PLEASE NOTE: We have a two year old toddling around our house and expected in April 2026, a newborn too. While our toddler tends to mind her own business and doesn’t necessarily get in dogs’ faces, we would appreciate your honesty in regard to your dog’s experience around small children.

Allison and her family were absolutely amazing with our little Figgy! Our fur baby tends to be a nervous little pup but she warmed right up quickly which really speaks volumes. Communication was great throughout our trip! Finding the right person to fit our needs is not always easy but we have found that in Allison! We will definitely be having her watch Figgy again in the future!!
Addie was as comfortable with Allison as she is at home. We received pictures and updates every day and did not have to worry about Addie while we were out of town.
Alison and her husband really helped me out in a pinch and took such great care of my Rocky. Great with communication, kept me updated with pictures throughout his stay and followed all the requests I asked with all of his things neatly packed and returned to me. Rocky loved his time there! Definitely will be booking with them again
Just such a kind and caring family felt very safe and confident leaving Ryder with them. He was treated as part of the family. Loved the pics I received.
Would 100% recommend Allison! She took such good care of our pup and sent plenty of updates! We felt very comfortable the whole time she was with our pup. Would absolutely book again for our next trip!
Alison’s and her family are awesome. Our puppy has stayed with them several times. She communicates with any questions, concerns and updates. We also receive pictures regularly. I am comfortable on my vacations knowing my puppy is safe and being taken care of. He is always happy and healthy when we pick him up. It has been a blessing to our family to have found Alison. We are grateful for her opening up her home and doing this work.

Schedule
I am a teacher & work during the weekdays. I leave my house at 8am and am home by 4pm. Should your pup need a mid-day potty break, my husband or I can accommodate that.

Safety, trust & environment
Our yard is not fenced in, but we’re very used to taking all dogs out on their leashes; it’s no problem for us. Each time we take a dog out, it’s usually accompanied by a short walk down the block and back. Inside our home, your pet can freely roam. We have no pets of our own, so we treat your animals like they’re ours. That said, we’re strict with following your rules- we’ll only feed your pet what you ask, we’ll restrict furniture use if you ask, etc.
A typical day
You can guarantee your dog will get several walks unless he or she isn’t physically up for it. For some of our more playful guests, when the weather allows, we love to take them to the Metroparks in Berea or to Nike Park right across the main road from our house. Getting outdoors is our favorite!
