About: My family and I have just moved to the Kalamazoo area from Tampa, FL, where I worked as a full-time veterinary assistant for several years. Additionally, I have accumulated hundreds of hours volunteering at animal shelters. Between these two, I have developed skills that allow me to be comfortable caring for all kinds of animals, and allow me to help those with specific needs, such as medication/fluid administration, first-aid, aggression/anxiousness, puppy/senior care, etc. Feel free to reach out with any questions! :) I am currently working part-time as a vet assistant. I have wide-open availability Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and I'm available Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays after 5pm. Long walks, extra love, and positive "good boys/girls" all around. It's important to me to be patient and understanding with any animal, and really listen to what it is that they need. I have no issue interacting with animals who may be reactive, anxious, aggressive, or all of the above.

“Hunter was great with Dot. Very patient and loving. With no fault of his… the snow storm prevented him from doing his walk visit on the 5th. However, We will have and look forward to using Hunter again. Very happy with his communication and commitment.”

“Erin is great with my 2 dogs and is very reliable. She always shows up on time and is very professional. I appreciate how knowledgeable she is with dogs - I know I can trust her to handle any situation!”

“An absolute wonderful person to watch after your pet! She was so loving toward Charlie and he had an absolutely blast with her while I was out of town. Big thanks to Theresa!”

“Jess was great! Always communicated with me and gave good notes so I was aware of everything that happened during the visit. I knew my baby was in good hands. I would recommend to anyone and love to book her again!”

“Anna was great! Moe came back tired and happy. She was punctual and had great communication.”

“Dean was amazing! I needed someone last minute and he accommodated for my request. Great communicator and my puppy enjoyed their interactions. Will definitely book again!”

“Lynn was fantastic. She put our dogs at ease right away during the meet and greet. She had great communication. We will definitely be using her a lot more for our pups!”

“Sometimes luck is on your side. We chose Cara at random from possible Rover dog walkers, and it turns out she is a dream come true! Punctual, flexible, kind, funny, and smart, she has turned out to be exactly the right person for our needs and preferences. Pivo goes nuts with excitement when he sees her coming. He performs zoomies on walks, and even though she says he's tired out, will do them when he's back. We love her! Yay, Cara! Awesome job!”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life. Currently I have a 2 year old Standard poodle and a sweet kitty I’ve always loved learning about dogs breeds and dog behavior and have pet sat for many pets off of this app. I can do early mornings and late nights. And I can do drop ins sometimes during the middle of the day depending on the day. All days of the week. I will let your dog outside to potty if you have a fenced yard, or leash and take outside. After I clean up after your dog we can have some play time and water and fed on their schedule.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was a kid, for family and friends who are pet parents, I am their first choice when it comes to pet sitting. I have also volunteered at my local animal shelters and to me, the animal's well-being is my highest priority. I have a job with flexible work hours so I can always make time to take care of your best friend. I also work remotely so I can be with your pet for however long is needed. If I am at the client's house, I will follow any and all special instructions involving taking care of their pet. I will make sure the dog is fed, gets plenty of exercise, clean up any messes, and just make sure that they feel safe and cared for.

“Maggie is the best!! Our dogs were staying with my elderly parents while we were out of town and needed to be walked everyday. Maggie came to our rescue and walked them daily and gave them VIP treatment! Maggie is a dependable, professional loving care giver and we would definitely call her again to care for our dogs!!”

“Barb is amazing!!! Every time she gets home, Lola gets super excited because she knows is time for her walk! Barb is sweet and very kind with my baby!! 100% recommended!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was 7 and my mom brought home a beautiful plumpy golden retriever. I was responsible for many things like walking and feeding and training growing up. I’ve dedicated my whole summer to working with my other part time job and taking care of your dogs! I love animals and I think this is a great opportunity to get in my fix for a pet that I want super bad but can’t afford right now. I’m super gentle and loving, I love when dogs are playful and we have a good time together. I believe your dog is great hands.

About: As an experienced pet owner and caregiver, I will ensure all of your (and your beloved animals) needs are met, if not exceeded. I am reliable, trustworthy, and caring. Let’s connect and ensure your pet’s wellbeing while you’re away! I’m currently working part-time and have tons of availability to ensure our schedules will work together. Whether it’s checking in on your pet, multiple walks daily, or even staying the night where your pet is comfortable, I can guarantee a great experience for everyone involved! I have experience sitting pets of all age ranges and am comfortable working with any type of animal. I will ensure their schedule will not change and to keep the home clean and tidy.

About: I grew up on a farm in a small town. I don’t ever remember a time when our family didn’t have at least one dog! I love all animals, but dogs are my favorite, and my own dog Finn is considered family. I’ve taken a 6 week behavioral training course with a vet back in my hometown, I follow the AKC on social media, and love going to dog shows! I have an 8-5 job, but I work from home and my employer is very flexible! I can take time away as needed to care for your fur babies. I have a fenced in yard and my 12 year old dog was well socialized growing up! Since she’s a senior dog, she’s generally not interested in play and prefers to nap, but she tolerates younger dogs well as long as I can take some of their attention off of her.

About: I have two of my own cats and a puppy (who LOVES to play with other pups)! I will care and love each of your pets as if they were my own babies. People I know and love have trusted me with caring for their babies…walking them, making sure they were bathed and fed, and giving them all of the snuggles in the world. I haven’t let them down and I won’t let you down! I’m currently working part time so I will have lots of time to snuggle/play with your fur babies! I work Monday/Wednesday afternoons and Saturday/Sunday afternoons but am always willing to make the trips back and forth to make sure your babies are cared for! I will always be willing to come to your home and care for your babies. I know it can be a lot to move them around to different places, especially for the pet. That is why I prefer to travel to where they are so I can make my time with them as smooth as possible! I’m currently working part time so I will have lots of time to snuggle/play with your fur babies! I work Tuesday-Thursday mornings and Saturday/Sunday afternoons but am always willing to make the trips back and forth to make sure your babies are cared for! I have a puppy who LOVES company and loves to play with other pups so being able to bring her with me/having dogs comfortable with her would be amazing! If it doesn’t workout, that is okay! I will make sure your fur baby is cared for and loved no matter what!

Connor L.
“Connor was an incredible pet sitter for our dog, Hoagie, and our cat, Kuzco! From the start, he was warm, professional, and clearly had a natural connection with animals. He made sure Hoagie got plenty of long walks and exercise, which we really appreciated, and gave Kuzco the calm attention and space he needed to feel comfortable. He kept us updated with messages and photos throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear both pets were happy and well cared for—Hoagie looked like he was living his best life, and Kuzco was content and relaxed. We came home to two very happy pets and a spotless home. We can’t recommend Connor enough—he’s trustworthy, attentive, and clearly loves what he does. We’ll definitely be booking him again!”

Delaney J.
“Delaney has grown up with dogs. She’s very attentive and loves animals deeply. She’s also very responsible having taken care of our family pets on her own while were out of town. She is able to prepare special food when necessary, keep wounds clean and administer medicine when necessary. She will make a an excellent dog walker and pet sitter.”

Camille B.
“Camille is great with all animals! I would trust her any day of the week to care for my pets and those of my friends. She is truly an animal lover through and through!”

Kimberly P.
“You can classify people in two categories: those that love animals and those that don’t. And then there’s Kim. She elevates ‘animal lover’ into a category all its own. I’ve never known a person to love her dogs (and others’ dogs and pets) as mightily as she does. She’s the most conscientious, compassionate and responsible animal lover out there. She has watched our dog Fiona multiple times and when we pick Fiona up she is reluctant to leave Kim and the fun experiences she’d had with her. When she sees Kim the next time she gets very excited, additional confirmation that Kim is the perfect caregiver. This job requires a person who takes animals’ lives and well being incredibly seriously…and that’s Kim. If my dog could provide a testimonial she’d wag her tail and bark her love for Kim alongside me.”

Maddie S.
“Maddie is the best! She’s watched our dogs and cats many times. She fed them, walked them, cleaned up after them, and most importantly, loved them. she was super reliable and kept us updated. She goes above and beyond! If I could give her 100 stars, I would!!!”
