About: Being a pet-sitter isn't just a way for me to make money. It's a way of life that aligns with who I am. I've always felt most at peace around animals. Growing up with pets they were more than just companions. They were part of the family. So the idea that I can combine that love for animals with something I do for work is truly fulfilling. I spent 10 beautiful, years with my partner in crime, a Great Dane named Padmé. Being a bigger dog, I feel confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Other than volunteering at the Young-Williams Animal Shelter where I've been trained in canine handling, this is my primary job. I am currently available Monday through Sunday starting as early as 6am until 8 pm. I am flexible and can work within your schedule. I provide a calm and quiet introduction to allow your pet to become acclimated to my presence. On walks, I allow pups ample time to sniff and explore their environment on the walk.

I’m comfortable with basic training for cats and dogs, and I’ve given medications in all forms—from pills and liquids to ear and eye drops. Every pet is different, and I try to treat each one like they’re my own. While I do work full-time, I have a flexible schedule throughout the week that allows me to offer drop-in visits and walks at various times during the day. I make it a priority to build pet care into my routine, and I’m happy to coordinate timing that works best for you and your pet’s needs. When I care for pets in their own space, I prioritize consistency and comfort. I stick closely to your routines—walks, feeding, meds, crate time, or play. About: I have been a foster dog parent in the past and a volunteer at Young Williams. I have experience with all kinds of different dogs! I am a part-time babysitter (of human babies), which means I am home a lot of the time and therefore have time to love on your (fur) babies. I do as much as I can to accommodate and make your dog comfortable. I do have senior-ish dogs of my own, so it is important to me that our pets get along. Chill dogs will work best for my environment. I typically will require a meet and greet between our dogs before I board!

About: I’ve been a life-long pet owner, caring for dogs, horses, cats, and even chickens! I have experience working with all kinds of dogs, from nervous rescues to seniors who need a bit more attention. I work part time at a dog grooming salon. I try to pick up jobs between part time hours or collage classes during the school year. I’m only strictly unavailable between 10 pm and 6 am. I am more than happy to adhere to any accommodations or requests from my clients for any service! I highly value respecting the client’s pet and property.

About: I have had pets in my house for my entire life. Throughout my life, I have cared for puppies, adult dogs, and elderly dogs, giving me a wide array of experience. I currently have 8 dogs that I absolutely love and cherish. In addition to my dogs, I also have 3 ferrets, a cat, a few fish, and 2 birds, but over the years I have had guinea pigs, hamsters, a rabbit, and a chinchilla. I have been walking my dogs since I was little, and during the summer I love (they do too!) taking them on a 6 mile trail walk. In addition to experience with dog walking and pet care, I also have experience with dogs with anxiety or medical issues such as hip dysplasia, cataracts, or cancers. In addition to all of my experience with my pets, I am constantly reading on animal behavior and the best care methods; I find it incredibly important to be as educated as I can be for any animals that I care for. I am a big time animal lover, and I believe that I can supply the care needed for your pets! I am in law school, but I am happy and more than willing to make any of the changes necessary to my schedule to accommodate you. Since I live in an apartment, I think that it will be best for both me and your pets to remain in your home. Of course, I will always be sure to follow your instructions while giving your dog the best care!

About: I’m extremely patient and so loving! At college I’m not able to have dogs and sometimes I’m between foster cats so I start missing animals. I know how treasured and important they are to us and I will always show them love when you’re gone! I’m taking four classes from home this summer so I’m super flexible time wise. I can take a break from the work to come walk, or if I’m dog sitting I can do the work while being in their presence! I will only be caring for pets at your homes, but I take the time to make sure they feel safe and loved before walking them or before letting them out! And if I house sit them I make sure that I’m spending plenty of time with them because socialization is super important.

About: I grew up with dogs for the first 19 years of my life. I fed, bathed, walked, let out, groomed (not very pretty but functional), and gave medication to my family’s dogs. I then rescued my sweet kitty, who I have owned for three years. I am her only caretaker, so know everything necessary to care for a cat. I worked at a veterinary clinic for a summer so have truly seen it all when it comes to animal care. I worked as a dog walker for a summer as well, and assisted with grooming this dog as well as overall basic care. I have completed an undergraduate degree in animal studies and am continuing on to veterinary school, so I have tons of knowledge to put to good use! Overall, these qualifications make me an excellent caretaker for your loved ones! I am currently working a part time job, 10 hours a week, so I have more than enough time to hang out with your loved ones! I will begin vet school the third week of August. I will then be at school usually 8-12, and sometimes 8-5. I can return to your house during my lunch break around noon if needed. I care for the pets in a client’s home with a holistic approach.
