About: From high-energy pups to more anxious or reserved dogs, I have the skills and experience to take care of all of your pups needs! I love every pet like they're my own, making sure they feel as safe and comfortable as possible. I'm a grad student with night classes coming up part-time this fall, meaning I have lots of time during the day to take care of your pet! When I care for pets in their own home, I cater to their needs - whether that's giving lots of attention, playtime, or snuggles. I'm always careful to respect household rules and keep everything clean and safe. I'll also keep you updated on a regular basis, and make sure to send lots of pictures while you're away!

“Morgan is the absolute best! She’s helped us out so much over the last year and is always super flexible. My dogs absolutely love her and she’s given us such peace of mind when she comes that they’ll receive the best care and always look forward to her awesome updates and photos.”

About: I've walked and exercised dogs. Fed them. Snuggled them. I have a pretty laid-back personality, so I hardly stress out even when a dog is barking at me. I understand they need to get use to a person first sometimes. I work a super laid-back job from home so I have plenty of time to spend with any pets throughout the day, whether they be dogs who need walking or cats who need snuggling. I follow the routines outlined by my clients, and use my intuition to know what the pet is needed or feeling in the moment. It probably sounds corny, but it's the best way I know how to describe it. An attentive person can tell when they're upset or when they're at peace.

About: I would love to work with you and your canine family. I love dogs and want them to have every opportunity to be "out-and-about" enjoying their lives, walking and traveling, as they are meant to. Fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly, and dogs got to walk! Dog-walking is service I am glad to provide. A brief background: I grew up with dogs. My first dog, a German Shepherd/Husky mix was a part of my family before I was born. After finishing my education, my partner and I adopted another Husky mix, Lulu, who was with us for 10+ years. She was well-trained, affectionate, and the best little fur friend we could have asked for. I have experienced, with a professional, Basic Obedience Class, Good Canine Citizenship, and will be continuing training to further my skills. Since Lulu passed, we adopted another cat (in addition to the one we already had), and they are the best of friends. However, I miss those daily walks with my furbie and am so glad for the opportunity to work with yours. I understand the importance of treating dogs with care and respect. It is my goal to increase my dog-walking skills to certification. Let's get in touch! Would be glad to chat more :) My schedule is generally 10am-4pm; but can be flexible if needed/as available. Will walk in any weather as long as it is safe to do so. Every measure will be taken to ensure the safety of your pet, including making sure they are safe on the leash while walking, while leaving and entering the home (no door dashing :]), as well as any other measures you may request to ensure safety.

About: I have been working at a dog daycare/boarding facility for over a year now, supervising up to 50 dogs a day. I care for and play with dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as give them baths when needed, feeding them meals, and giving needed medications. I have experience with many different kinds of dog behavior to know when they are anxious, scared, or if something is bothering them. Outside of work, I dog sit for family and friends, taking the dogs for walks and adventures so you will always be sure they will be tuckered out by the end of the day. I recently adopted a dog through K9 Orphans, Mia. She is a sweetheart with severe stranger danger (we are working on it), so I have experience with dogs who are reactive toward strangers. Through years of experience working with dogs, I’ve learned no personality is the same. I find it very important to learn what a dog’s specifics needs are and make sure they are met. My job at the daycare is full time and I work shifts that are between 6 and 8 hours (usually late morning through evening). Since I do work later in the day I have plenty of morning time to spend taking care of pets as well as flexibility to watch pets into the evening as well. Working at a dog daycare I experience everything that comes with working with dogs. I clean up anything you can think of, I understand dog behavior and when they are overwhelmed or anxious, and I know how to handle an aggressive dog. My main priority is to always keep them safe and happy.

About: Hi! My name’s Misa and I’ve been an animal lover since I was a kid. Once my family got our first dog when I was 8 years old, we were inseparable. She was my partner in crime~ Now I have a cat of my own and he owns my heart! He’s pretty food motivated so I clicker trained him, and he knows about 10 tricks :D He also has some health issues so I’m familiar with giving cats medication. I recently graduated with my master’s from the UR and I’m still in the process of looking for a job. Which means my schedule is super flexible to hang out with your pet! I’m detail oriented, reliable, and respectful of your space and your pets~ I'm currently on the job hunt after finishing my master's degree so my schedule is very flexible to accommodate drop-ins in the morning or afternoon as well as the evening~ I'll do my best to adhere to your pet's normal routine and of course be respectful of their boundaries. I'll follow any instructions given and reach out if any further clarification is needed!

About: I've had pets my entire life! I've taken care of my own pets - dogs, cats, snakes, gerbils, and rats - who have had a variety of needs including meds, fluids and inhalers, and friends', family, and neighbors' pets! I have always been a huge animal lover and having just moved back to Rochester with my partner as he starts his residency, I have a lot of free time! I would love to help with your animals! I have two cat and dog friendly cats who have a good routine and are always looking for new friends to play with! My apartment is secure and I dote on my kitties!

Jessica H.
“Jessica is an amazing dog walker! She has a lot of patience and will provide structure for the dog on the walk. Jessica does a great job of maintaining control of the dog on walks, and keeps the dog focused so external distractions (squirrels, people, etc) does not take away from the walking experience. Overall, I highly recommend Jessica as a dog walker :)”

Park Avenue dog parents share their Rover experiences
David is an absolutely phenomenal dog sitter! He took amazing care of my boyfriend and I’s two huskies, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. My boyfriend especially gets so so so anxious about anybody watching them, and for him to be at peace 24/7 knowing David was there should say a lot. He was incredibly responsive and professional throughout the entire process. The numerous photos he sent gave me so much relief and reassurance, knowing my boys were in good hands and having a blast. I highly recommend David to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter! His wife was also extremely sweet and didn’t mind going on walks with our crazy boys and made the cutest art of them.

Hannah is fantastic with my energetic 1-year old Doberman. She is a great communicator and would recommend her without hesitation!

My Chihuahua absolutely loved Helen. She was incredibly kind, punctual, and loved animals. I felt super comfortable leaving Itachi and knowing my pup was in such caring hands. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and loving walker!

Daniel was super great! Came to meet my dog prior and was always on time and sent lots of pics. I was super comfortable having him go to my home and walk my baby!!! Will 100% use Daniel again

Thank you for helping us out with a last minute change! We are so grateful for you and the care you give to Nacho!

Sarah was wonderful and patient with Quinn being nervous. I appreciate the detailed feedback and pictures.

Carla was fantastic, very friendly, and very communicative with us while we were away and she walked our dog for us. We would love to hire her again!

Diana let me know when she was on the way to take our dog on a walk and sent a picture of our girl during the walk! Thank you Diana. We look forward to using your services again.

As always Geoff was amazing with our fur kiddos. Wonderful to have this kind of peace of mind when we’re away. Highly recommend!!

Anika is phenomenal! Treated my very anxious pup with the same love and patience I would give him. Reliable and communicates well with me. My daughter enjoyed your company. I highly recommend and will be using her services again. Thank you so much Anika for making my first time away easy for me!
