About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! I give every dog the time and attention they deserve. I have a fenced in back yard and a friendly dog of my own to keep yours company. I send pictures throughout the day to let you know how your pup is doing!

I am a student that is currently studying full time at my apartment and am available to schedule dog care. I am very organized and am able to set time for studying and pet care and play time. I can play with them and give them enrichment. I can pet them to soothe them. I can encourage drinking water to keep them healthy. I am very vocal when it comes to encouraging and letting pets know they are doing something well.

Mark was accommodating with pickup and drop off times and communicated during the day with pictures and notes. I had no stress about Gus being in good hands. Now from Gus. I am a pandemic pup—totally attached to my empty nester parents (though I really do love everyone.) I loved going to Mark’s house—hopped right out of my mom’s car and ran up to his gate. We went on walks and I got to be pals with his dogs. We played and played and I was so tired when my mom picked me up. I think she was too so she was really happy that I just wanted to lay on the clinch when we got home. Mark took really good care of me and I hope I get to go back. ??”

He hadn't been eating much the day before we dropped him off, so she worked with him to see that he ate his food and took all of his meds. She kept us up-to-date - sending photos and videos during his stay. Susan made Teddy feel at home and made it a worry-free stay for us! Definitely recommend!”

About: I am a licensed veterinary technician and dog trainer who has been around animals my entire life. My experience helps me to handle a variety of situations that can arise with any pet I am caring for in my home. Meet and Greets are conducted outdoors in my yard or on my porch if weather permits. I do not allow people and their pups indoors during first meetings for the safety of the guest that I currently have. A courtesy that I provide for your pup while they stay with me as well. At this point in time, I’m only watching dogs that are 40lbs and smaller. Larger breeds may inquire and may be accepted based on ease of care and ability to get along with my own dogs. I have two dogs at home, one is a rescue and the other is a senior dog. My three cats are all accustomed to being around dogs. Whether your dog likes to play outside or stay indoors curled up on the couch, my home provides the perfect environment for your pet. I have a fenced yard for running and playing and a number of dog beds for lounging. Senior pets also have the ability to go in and out from the yard without needing to use any stairs. If needed, I can also provide grooming services such as nail trimmings, anal gland expressions, ear cleaning or bathing. I prefer to care for one dog at a time to ensure excellent care and a comfortable environment; I will accommodate more than one pup at a time if they are from the same family. Thank you! Kimberley B. Patience and lots of snuggles. Pets are welcome anywhere in my home and I have other friendly resident pups to keep them company as well. I work from home so daily pet care is easy! And pets are never left alone for more than a few hours. When away I have cameras to help keep an eye and make sure they are safe as well! I care for guests the same way I care for my own pets. I appreciate how scary it can be leaving your fur baby in someone else’s hands, so I send pictures and updates as frequently as you’d like.

“We are new to the area and didn't know anyone who could watch our dogs for the day while we moved from our rental into our new house, so using Rover was an obvious choice. We needed someone to pick up our two dogs early at the rental and drop them off late at the new house and Adriana agreed to both. Even when I contacted her to ask if she could keep them a little longer since the move wasn't complete, she agreed to do so without any additional fees. She didn't even complain when one of the dogs threw up in her car and defecated in her home. (Sorry about that!) I would definitely call on Adriana again if the need arises.”

About: Hi, I'm Jackie! I have had pets for over 20 years and am a huge animal lover. I have three cats and a dog - who are all incredibly spoiled. I also have experience with fish, reptiles, small pets, and birds as well. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds :) I work from home and enjoy talking my dog on walks or out into the backyard during breaks or after work. We spend as much time as we can outside. I care about any animal’s health and safety first. In my own home, I try to let the dog I’m sitting be as comfortable as possible - whether that’s being my shadow, hanging out on the couch, or supervising the neighborhood through the window. My dog, Banner, is 7 years old, 85lbs, and he loves other dogs - he’s very gentle with older or small dogs, too. While he likes to play in little bursts, he does not have puppy energy like he used to and my home wouldn’t be the best for a dog who needs a ton of playtime.
