About: I love being around animals so I would care for your pet(s) as if they were my own. I’m assertive but kind and haven’t had issues in the past with dogs listening. I’m currently a graduate student at UNT taking the majority of my classes online. Because of this I have a lot of free time and flexibility with my schedule. I live in an apartment so for dog walking I would take your pet(s) to local/safe parks to allow them to exert some energy and get in some exercise. For drop ins I will make sure your pet(s) has clean and fresh water, gets fed, and is able to go out.

About: What sets me apart is my combination of hands-on animal care experience, reliability, and genuine love for animals. I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. About: I have been a dog walker, dog bather, kennel tech, and worked at wildlife rehab. To say I love animals is an understatement, and I can't wait to meet and care for yours! I have been pet sitting in people's homes for nearly 20 years now, and have worked professionally with animals for many years. Dogs to Hedgehogs and snakes, tell me how to best care for your pets and I will exceed your expectations. I have watched over nursing puppies in shelters, and senior dogs in veterinary care and boarding, so I have experience with animals with anxiety and giving medications. I am on summer break from work at a local school, so your little ones will have my full attention. I do have a few 2/3 hr events two evenings a week, but I will be available for any pets in training, or who may need more frequents outdoor breaks. Because I understand that for many pets, consistency is very important, I try to stick as close to your regular walk/outside schedules as possible to make sure routines are kept just that*. Since every animal is different, I will let your pet lead the way with how much attention/ what kind of enrichment they like. I don't mean to brag, but my belly rubs are the bark of the town my neighborhood. **With the summer heat, I expect any walks taken will be very early or as the sun is setting so their paws are protected.

“My dog is my BABY, so I am very picky with who I leave him with. I could not recommend Ariana more! She did AMAZING with my dog. She did drop in visits twice a day for 4 days while I was out of town. She walked him, feed him, took him on two walks a day and played fetch! She was so sweet to my dog and I could tell he was very comfortable with her. I got multiple pictures during each visit and a report cards of potty breaks/eating and drinking! Ariana took away the stress of being away from my boy. I have a Cat as well who is pretty self sufficient and has an automatic food dispenser so I told her she didn’t have to worry about taking care of him too; but she still gave him love and sent me pictures so I knew he was doing good! She watched my dog over the 4th of July weekend; I was worried about him being scared of the fireworks.. and she made a courtesy check in !!!!!!!!! She went out of her way (something I didn’t pay her for) just to make sure my dog felt safe and comfortable during the fireworks; which put me at ease. On the last day of her watching my dog, she had already made her stop for the day; I later noticed the AC at my house got shut off, she made another courtesy stop just to turn my AC back on so my dog didn’t get too hot!!! Her service is exceptional and I with DEFINITELY be booking with her in the future when I go out of town! Thank you SO much Ariana, I truly appreciate how sweet and amazing you were to my babies! Thank you for taking such great care of them and making both them and me feel so comfortable!!!!”

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Maria. My new rescue dog, Cleo, is still learning what it means to live a normal, safe life, and unfortunately while I was gone, she got into the trash and made quite the mess. Maria came over so quickly to check on her and make sure she hadn’t cut herself or eaten anything that could be harmful or toxic. She then went above and beyond and cleaned everything up thoroughly. That kind of care means more to me than I can put into words. Maria didn’t just come to clean up a mess—she genuinely cared about making sure Cleo was safe and okay first. Knowing that I have someone I can trust with my animals, especially a rescue who is still adjusting, gives me so much peace of mind.
