“This is the second time our senior pup stayed with Renae for the day and he had another wonderful time! Renae is very responsive when booking, and she shared that our dog was settling in well shortly after he arrived. We’ll definitely rebook in the future.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since childhood and have always had pets in my life—including cats and dogs. Friends, neighbors, and family often rely on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets when they travel or need support. What sets me apart is the kind of home I provide: calm, happy, and healthy—with lots of love, attention, and play. I work from home, so I’m around all day and can easily keep your pet’s schedule consistent. I also have a 10-year-old son who loves helping with pet care and is gentle, respectful, and great with animals. Lastly we live 1/2 block from a very sweet no leash park where your dog can run free, catch a ball, and make new friends. We love each and every dog that comes into our home like they were our own, and I think that makes them very happy. 💛 Whether it’s giving belly rubs, keeping a watchful eye, or following feeding routines and medications closely, your pet will be treated like family here. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them brings me genuine joy. I’m nurturing, calm, and reliable—and I create a peaceful environment where pets feel safe and at home. My son and I make a great team, and we both take pride in helping animals feel loved and cared for. Since I work from home with a flexible schedule, I’m available throughout the day for walks, feeding, drop-ins, and snuggles. I'm also available most weekends for boarding or extended stays. Your pet will get plenty of attention and companionship all day long. Our home is clean, peaceful, and pet-friendly. We don’t have other pets right now, so your animal will have our full attention and space. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I treat it with respect and care—following your preferences to the letter. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and consistent communication so you always know how your pet is doing. Whether in my home or yours, your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first.

“Ashley helped us out in a pinch and exceeded our expectations! She cared for our dog and quickly helped acclimate our anxious dog. We’ll definitely be asking Ashley for services in the future! Thanks for loving our pup like your own :)”

“Mariola was an awesome sitter! She was very responsive to our puppy, Pao Pao's, needs and went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable. If you're looking for a responsible and loving sitter, Mariola is the one!”

About: As a Registered Nurse with 28 years of caregiving experience, I bring a calm, attentive, and compassionate approach to pet care. I personally cared for my own beloved dog for 20 years — through every life stage — including administering medications, managing special diets, and providing gentle senior care. I’m especially comfortable with: • Senior dogs and pets with special needs • Giving oral medications and supplements • Monitoring for health or behavior changes • Maintaining consistent routines • Offering lots of love, patience, and walks! My nursing background means I’m highly observant, dependable, and focused on safety and comfort. What sets me apart is that I truly understand pets are family — and I care for them with the same heart and attention I gave to my own. My husband calls me the dog whisperer! I work from home full-time, so your pup will have plenty of attention throughout the day. My home features a fully fenced, dog-friendly backyard with a doggie door leading from the deck to the yard — perfect for safe outdoor access. I live on a quiet, flat cul-de-sac in the Oakland Hills, ideal for peaceful walks. I also enjoy visiting nearby parks and hiking trails, many within walking distance, for fresh air and exercise with furry friends I have a fenced backyard dog and currently I do not have any dogs or pets of my own for the time being. I live in a safe, quiet and peaceful area. I do not require dogs to be crated.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats my whole life, have been pet sitting for the past 10 years for friends and family, and we now have a dog daughter of our own – a 3 year old standard poodle. We'll care for your dog just like we care for our own – as part of our family. I work from home primarily and my partner works from home occasionally so your pet will never be alone for too long. We have a yard where our dog and a neighboring dog like to play and we go on 3 walks per day at minimum in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Whether your dog enjoys lots of social time and play or is more relaxed, we are set up to provide your dog with the care and safe space they need.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, from cats to big hunting dogs. My aunt has always had large dogs that weren’t always fully trained, so I’m used to handling strong and sometimes stubborn dogs (size anywhere from 15lbs (smallest) to roughly 100lbs). My girlfriend has a rescue pit bull (95 lbs.) who got comfortable with me really fast, and her dad has a German shepherd-husky mix (-75lbs) who’s very nervous and hesitant around people. I managed to earn his trust in a short time span as well. I’m especially good with big dogs and dogs that might be a bit protective or shy. I don’t mind if they need time to warm up; I actually enjoy figuring out how to make them feel safe and relaxed. What makes me different is that I’m really patient and I don’t force anything. I pay attention to how each dog feels and let them come to me at their own pace. People always tell me I have a natural way with animals, and I think that’s true because I really enjoy being around them and I respect their space. I love spending time with dogs, whether it’s going on a long walk, playing, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I treat every dog like they’re my own, and I try to make sure they feel happy and comfortable the whole time. I am prompt and communicative With drop ins, i can also do small extras like water your plants and bring in the mail. I'm fairly flexible on same day bookings and can be extra active for energetic dogs I am also happy to discuss longer hikes or extra exercise for an additional fee I’m a student-athlete on the men's rowing team studying biology. I'm 6'7 and very active and love being outside, so going on long walks or playing with dogs fits perfectly into my routine. I’m free most afternoons and will be available all summer. I'm 22, and I’m from Denmark. I will be happy to discuss longer hikes or extra exercise for an additional fee I’m very good with dogs of any size and personality. I’ve been around everything from big labs and hunting dogs to pit bulls and nervous rescues. Some of these dogs were very cautious or protective at first, but they usually warm up to me quickly. usually, within the same day. When I’m caring for a dog, whether it’s in my home or yours, I make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I respect their space, pay close attention to their body language, and let them come to me at their own pace. I always keep the environment calm and positive, and I focus on building trust from the start. I am also happy to discuss longer hikes, extra exercise and/or extra care for an additional fee

About: I have 3 lazy shih tzus who loves to be chauffeur in their stroller. We live in a house with fenced yard that has a nice lawn for relaxation or doggie tag. I have been caring for dogs since college (a long time ago!) from puppies to seniors. My doggies and I have travelled all of the country when I used to travel often for work, which trained me with care techniques as well as identifying behaviors and administering medications. I am 5 minutes walking distance from Berkeley Dog & Cat 24 Hours Hospital and can quickly get medical attention when necessary. The neighborhood has a handful of nice spaces for strolling, including parks, college campus, and quaint streets lined with shops. I have 2 teens who also love animals and occasionally help look after the dogs when I briefly step out for groceries or similar errands that are close by. The doggies all enjoy indoor and the fenced back yard. It is clean and secure. They also love sitting on the front porch with me and people watch. I do have a crate, but most of the time they are free to roam around the house. I never have more than 6 dogs, including my own, so that each one will get adequate attention.

“Eve was really great, easygoing with the dogs, seems to genuinely enjoy caring for a big pack (we were there over the holidays.) Frankie came home tuckered out and was happy to return the next day. Great yard to run around in and plenty of cozy spots for chilling. Would definitely bring him again! Thanks Eve!”

“Claudio was amazing with Xico. Xico does not always get along with other dogs, but Claudio has the ability to ease any tension or fear Xico may feel around new dogs. Claudio went above and beyond to make Xico feel at home. They even went to Alameda beach! I know Xico felt safe and happy due to Claudio’s warm energy. I’m so happy Xico could socialize and have fun this week!”

About: I’ve done neighborhood dog care in high school for 2 years and in college occasionally take care of my friends cats while they are away. I’m a full time student at Cal but my classes are all during the morning so afternoons and evenings I am normally available to go for walks, feed, or play with pets. I have a fenced back yard and a pet friendly lease for my apartment. While boarding I would put fragile valuables away securely in my loft.

“Couldn’t be more grateful and happy with Simone taking great care of our baby pup. I loved how she was very thoughtful going out of her way to go to the pet store to get treats for Nyla since I forgot to pack some. Nyla looked like she was having fun and had a great time from the pictures and video updates from Simone. So glad I chose her to watch Nyla. Will definitely rebook her whenever we need someone to watch and take care of our puppy. 🤎”

I have flexible working hours, I just need 1 or 2 days in advance to schedule myself and serve all my four-legged clients well. Weekends are exclusive like Pet Sitter I live in an apartment with screens on the windows and a backyard without a fence, which I use only to sunbathe with small dogs.

“Taylor is fantastic. I was in town for work with my wee guy and she took care of him during the times I couldn't have him with me. Rowlf and Taylor made a fast friends. They played and walked and cuddled, she took tons of pics and kept me up to date about their time together, and really supported me while I was working. I'm so grateful I found her. Taylor is super friendly, thorough, and loving. It can be so hard for all of us to trust the care of our babies to a stranger. You can't go wrong here!”

“Amy is the peace of mind you need when you leave your beloved pup for the evening! With Amy, I received a timely response, stellar communication, and, above all, felt the genuine love given to our little Millie (Spoiler: it was top notch) Can't recommend her services enough!”

“Stephanie was amazing! It’s the first time we have used Rover and have never left our pup with someone he didn’t know. He’s a nervous dog, but Stephanie made him feel right at home. We will definitely use her again when we are in town!”

“Jaclyn is such a wonderful woman and absolutely marvelous caretaker of animals! She is gentle, kind, loving and responsible. When my family was struggling and we needed to re-home our kitty, Jaclyn and her boys were able to provide a loving home for her. I highly recommend Jaclyn if you're looking for someone to take care of your fuzzy family member!”

Daniela O.
“Daniela is amazing with dogs - especially ones with special needs. My dog Davey has pretty bad anxiety, especially in cars and around other dogs, but Daniela has a really calming presence that helps him feel safe. She’s watched him multiple times now, and every time he comes back happy and relaxed. What I really appreciate is that because she’s a full-time nurse (but works from home), she only takes one or two dogs at a time. That means she’s super attentive and gives each dog the care they need. I completely trust her with Davey and would recommend her to anyone.”

Taryn & Jeffrey T.
“Taryn and her husband Jeff have lovingly cared for our dog Chips several times and he always comes back happy and healthy! Their dog Peixe is one of Chips's favorite playmates; Peixe is incredibly well-behaved and cared for beautifully. One time while watching Chips, the Bay Area had a crazy heat wave and I felt totally confident that he was safe and comfortable while we were away despite his thick fur and high energy level/exercise needs. Chips is a bit of a wild man on walks/hikes and they deal with him SO well! Loving, conscientious, safe, and fun - those are the hallmarks of Taryn's caregiving style <3”

Tobias K.
“Tobias has a very straight forward and accommodating approach. His calm and friendly voice and nature affects the success he always has when meeting and approaching animals in general. He is used to being around dogs. All credits and thumbs up 👍 I would hire him anytime.”

Marília O.
“Marília is truly the best. She cared for my cat Basil for three months, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone more loving, attentive, or trustworthy. Basil isn’t the easiest cat—she needs extra vitamins mixed into her food daily and has a chronic eye issue that requires regular wiping and attention. Marília handled it all with such ease, care, and kindness. She didn’t just meet Basil’s needs—she spoiled her with affection, playtime, and all the cozy cuddles a cat could want. I always knew Basil was in the best hands, and I came home to a very happy, very well-loved kitty. I recommend Marília without hesitation!”
