“Amazing Sitter, Kat took incredible care of our two dogs. She gave them both lots of love, long walks, and super fun playtime. I received regular updates and photos, which showed how happy Max and Hiro were while we were on vacation. Kat truly went above and beyond, attending to Max's special needs and preferences. He is a rescue and she took the time to get to know him and he even trusted her so much, he laid on her chest. I am super grateful and glad I found Kat!!!”

About: Hi there! You can call me Joy :) when I care for your pet I will send you updates with pictures and can communicate every good, not so good, and/or boring detail with you! I do not hesitate to ask for clarification on anything when it comes to the needs of you and your pet. I am also happy to help you with any other house chores while you are away (collecting mail, watering plants, etc). I find it important to set up a meet and greet with you and your pet if possible. When I care for your pet I understand that I am in the space they call home. Building trust with you and your pet is an important first step for me to provide the best services for your needs. In 2018 I adopted a dog of my own and she is my world! I adopted my dog through Best Friends Animal Shelter and she came with little to no background information. She was fearful and showed signs of a traumatized past. I had to train a puppy during the “T-Rex” phase (RIP many articles of clothing and furniture legs” and learned that several rounds of fetch will only slow a working dog for about 20 min before they’re ready to go again. The biggest skill I learned when adopting my dog was handling her reactivity. She was the sweetest girl at home, mostly shy in the beginning and hesitant to come out of her shell. So it was a huge shock when taking her out on her first few walks to see her lunge and pull with all her might towards everything and everyone that passed by. Her size and breed made it especially stressful and embarrassing and there were many days where I felt like I couldn’t handle it. With a lot of patience and treats and maybe also some crying Kona came out of her first year at home a thriving happy girl! Bringing her home was one of the most challenging experiences of my life but watching her grow and blossom into the silly, loving pup she is has been the greatest reward. I have a set schedule at my part time job and can establish morning/afternoon/night schedules around it. I am also in the process of applying for grad school and would love to prioritize pet care as my main job if possible, I am eager to build a clientele! As the owner of a reactive dog I am comfortable reading behavioral cues that may indicate if your pet is in need of extra support, attention, or space.

“Emily was great with our two pups. They’re usually uneasy around new people, but she took the time to earn their trust and made them feel comfortable. She arrived on time for every visit, communicated clearly, and sent thoughtful updates with photos that really put us at ease. As first-time Rover users, we were a little nervous, but Emily made the whole experience feel easy and reassuring. We came home to two happy, relaxed dogs — we look forward to booking with her again!”

“Lilah was so compassionate towards our fur babies and her attention to detail was very much appreciated. We have senior dogs who have specific dietary needs and she made sure they received the right food and medicine. She also sent us updates every day with photos of our pup pups. We would not hesitate to use Lilah again in the future!”

You won’t have to worry when in my care.

“We needed a last minute house sitter due to a cancelation and Erick was exactly who we needed. My pitty is elderly and can be a bit anxious + my 200lb mastiff tends to be shy when meeting new people, but within minutes of meeting him they were so calm and acted as if they had known him for years! His communication was great and the videos were priceless. The cherry on top was walking in the door after a long trip to find happy pups and the house looking better than we left it.”

“Penny was wonderful! She was so sweet with our pups and they absolutely loved her. She sent us updates and photos so we could feel at ease while we were away. We will definitely be using her again in the future. ❤️”

“Michelle was great! It was my first time with Rover, and she was patient and helped me with errors I had made. She also went above and beyond. I was booking last minute, and she went out of her way to do a meet and greet before the dog sitting date. She also asked to take the dog on a short walk, even though she didn’t have to. Would definitely book again with her.”

“Sarah did a great job with our Sadie and we will definitely use her again in the future! Sarah gave multiple updates a day and always responded timely to any messages I sent her. Our house was just as we left it and you could tell Sadie was comfortable and happy while we were gone. Thanks Sarah!”

About: As long as I have been on earth, I have cared deeply for animals. I am a regular go to for friends and family who need pet care, because my goal is to provide for each pet as if they were my own. I have experience with large group walks, reactive pets, and puppies. I approach every pet with gentleness, and take plenty of pictures for you to see your baby having fun! My sweet pug is a bit sound sensitive and leash reactive, so I am not afraid to work with and care for pets that need a bit more TLC to feel comfortable. I work remote, so I am able and ready to work from anywhere. I am able to do short walks, or extended hangouts with pets! I am an extremely clean and considerate house sitter. Given the trust to occupy someone’s home is not something I take for granted, and do mu utmost to leave each place cleaner than how I got it!
