“Jim is the best!! He’s super reliable down to the minute for bookings, and he loves on my dog and cat each time he comes to help out! Great dog walker and animal lover!! I highly recommend!”

About: I just graduated from the University of Maine studying animal sciences on the pre vet track. I have had animals my whole life but when I got to Maine I began to also work with animals such as cows and horses. I currently hold a dog control position at the Webster Police department, and have just started working at Paws and Claws Pet care inc. Currently I am working ate the police department as a dog control officer, and also hold a position at Paws and claws which is a daycare. I have seen the stress that some dogs get while attending daycares so I like to help owners take care of there pets in an environment they feel comfortable in. For my clients I feed their animals and let them out on a walk. For the horses I would feed them, clean there stalls and let them out to run around.

“Kerrie was absolutely exceptional with our 7 year old husky, Kira. She was on time, incredibly communicative, and very understanding of Kira’s unorthodox routine. When circumstances and asks changed, Kerrie went above and beyond to accommodate with pleasure. We confidently recommend her for your pet needs and will absolutely be using Kerrie in the future.”

“Kathy is amazing! Great communication throughout the time she watched my pup and cares for them like they were her own. Sends constant updates and easy to reach if you have a question. I will be using Kathy again definitely!”

About: I have always had a love for animals since I can remember. I rescued and rehabbed two feral kittens that were living under a dumpster to my own rescued pup. I have had guest dogs in my home from tiny to extra large. They always received the same care as my own dog from sleeping in bed with us to plenty of walks and outdoor time. They will be in great, responsible hands with me! I currently have my own business so I make my schedule. I can be flexible with days of the week and times even with last minute notice. I always ensure the pets are secure via leash before leaving the home to go for walks or when they are "in" for the day (crates, baby gate - no matter their set up). I also gather all the information about the animal - any reactions to certain situations, recall cues etc prior to visits.

About: I love working with animals, I can help train dogs and I like to play with them and take them on walks. I also can help train cats/kittens if needed too. I am able to help 3-4 times a week throughout the day. Monday to Thursday would work best to walk dogs or stop in to play with them and feed them. I can care for pets at clients homes, I have reliable transportation. I am able to feed pets, play with them walk them and socialize if needed to.

“Brittany did an amazing job taking care of our three pugs for us (and was incredibly accommodating on short notice). We will be using her exclusively in the future for any needs we have with extra help. Thanks again Brittany!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since the age of 12 I’ve had neighbors and family recommend me to others and overall enjoy walking and play with all dogs or pets I enjoy walking around and would love to have your animals walk with me. Most animals always enjoy walking and getting out to play. (Plus they get good pets) My yard is a pretty big area there’s a creek right behind the house that they can play in that’s shallow and safe to have them play in. There are many parks that I know of in the area that they could be taken too and be able to run around in.

About: Ever since I was a child, I have always been surrounded by animals! My family has always had dogs and birds in the house. I have learned how to care for elderly dogs in struggling health conditions. My sister also has a beagle with separation anxiety that I frequently watch and walk for her! I currently have a young kitty, Stewart, who has made me appreciate the beauty of owning both dogs and cats! I’m currently working part-time and am attending college in the Rochester area. Depending on what your animal needs, I am very flexible and will do whatever I can to make life as an owner easier! Unfortunately I am currently not offering boarding and house sitting services. However, I will always make sure that the safety of your animal is my top priority when they are in my care!

About: I’ve grown up with all types of animals which always included dogs! I was trusted with walking, feeding and bathing the dogs we had along with other family members pets as well. Have had a good time watching my sister’s and brother in laws pets when they were busy and am very good at taking care of their dogs! I am currently between jobs so I have lots of time on my hands to come walk or watch your pets! Any time of day is good for me as well At my home I only have a small dog of my own right now but we have a lead in the front yard but most of the time I am open to walking the dogs up and around the land and farm we have for their potty breaks. I’m up to walking any of your dogs at your home if you don’t have a fenced yard. I am open to any size dog and any breed

About: I’ve had a dog of my own for approximately 20 years. I also am a cat owner. I love all animals and have been watching animals through Rover.com since Aug of 2022. I currently work full time. I am available to care for your pet during the week anytime. I am available with no limitations on weekends. I have one daughter living with me at home. She is 17 years old and does not require a lot of my time. I do have 2 dogs of my own and they love play dates! Especially sleepovers 🐶❤️🐶 I can certainly crate your pet if needed. I have a large backyard that is not currently fenced. I would always use a leash to take a dog out to use the bathroom or to walk. I enjoy walking every day, in all weather conditions.

About: I had a cat from the time I was 3 to 17. She passed away unfortunately but I grew up taking care of her and of other family members pets as well. I’m currently on summer break. I’ve just graduated college with a bachelors and will be starting a masters in the fall. Looking for flexible work with my flexible schedule until the school year. I have a fenced and spacious yard. I also have a spacious house and will plan accordingly to any requested information and wishes for your pets.

“Joni is very affectionate to my Ben and considerate with changes in schedule ;accommodating with late notification and such.It was a delight working with her and would recommend her to anyone ;)Thanks Joni for making our stay in Palmyra a pleasant one!!!”

About: I’ve spent my whole life around large dogs and currently share my home with a 4-year-old German Shepherd who I raised and trained on my own since he was just 6 weeks old. I’ve developed an understanding of strong, energetic, and intelligent breeds over the years. Whether it’s a shy pup or a high-energy dog, I believe in patient, positive care and making sure every walk, visit, or play session is a happy one. You can trust that your dog will be treated like family in my care—because that’s how I’d want mine treated too! I work full time as a nurse, but typically have 3-4 days off each week that I love to spend outside or with animals to fill my happiness quota! I do not have a fenced in yard at my home, but am used to leashed walks with my 4 year old German shepherd. I have experience with crate training and medication administration.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my diverse experience and adaptability to meet the unique needs of every pet. I have a special focus on both puppies and senior pets, offering tailored care for each stage of life. With puppies, I provide basic training, reinforcing positive behaviors and helping with crate training, potty training, and socialization. For senior pets, I’m attentive to their special needs, offering extra comfort, gentle exercise, and medication management. Additionally, I pride myself on building a strong bond with pets, ensuring they feel safe and loved in my care. Whether it’s administering medications or managing special diets, I take the time to make sure every pet receives the highest level of personalized attention and care. Caring for someone else's pet fits into my daily routine by ensuring they are fed, exercised, and given attention, just like I would for my own pet. I make time for walks or play sessions, and check in on their well-being. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their feeding, exercise, and medication routines. I ensure the pet is safe, comfortable, and engaged with regular play or walks. I also maintain a clean environment and provide updates to the client. My goal is to offer the same care and attention the pet is used to.

About: I have had a dog of my own since I was 12 and absolutely adore all animals. I did a decent amount of dogsitting over the 2022 summer and loved it :) I am a freshman and hamilton college but hoping to do more over the upcoming summer. I am honestly pretty open other than working 1-5 usually everyday. Besides that I am available to take care of your pup whenever it is needed :) Please just let me know what works best for you! I love to take dogs on walks and really just spend quality time with them. I really just enjoy the company and think they’re adorable :) I could play all day or watch a show on the couch with some pets depending on what they need from me!

Mallory P.
“Mallory has a love for animals that is above anything I have ever seen. It doesn’t matter if they’re big or small, or wild or a pet, she would care for them like her own children. Although she loves all animals, I think I can say with pure conviction that dogs are her favorite. She thinks about every little thing when it comes to dogs. Their food and water, their comfort, if they are anxious she won’t stop until she figures out the reason. I have left my own dog, Yoshi, in the hands of Mallory many times and she has always gone above and beyond what I ask of her. Not for me, but for him. She’s responsible, trustworthy, communicative, and most importantly, she cares deeply and it shows through her work. I couldn’t think of a person I would trust more with my own dog than Mallory and I’m sure all of you will feel the same way.”

Courtney J.
“Courtney, is absolutely amazing! My dogs love her. She is patient, kind and loves them like her own. They warmed up to her so fast. She followed instructions and noted each dogs quirks. Very trustworthy! I will definitely have her care for my dogs again.”

Sarah M.
“Sarah is a pet sitter you can trust! Sarah took her job as our pet sitter seriously. She provided daily walks, individual care, and daily meals to our fur baby. She was even kind enough to provide daily updates as well as photos of our dog. I would most definitely recommend her to care for your pet, and I will call upon her services again. Lori C.”
