“Sierra was wonderful with our dogs! She sent us daily pictures and updates which was absolutely perfect especially since I sometimes forgot to ask! But in every picture or even the one video our dogs were having a blast, she was so professional and nice! Would definitely rebook!!”

“Boo had a great stay with Kate! I loved receiving photos and videos to see how he was doing. Happy to have a place where I know he’s happy and being well cared for when I’m traveling.”

“I recently adopted a bunny and we were going away on vacation for a few days… we needed someone who was able to watch my her while we were gone. We had a very nice meet and greet with Julia and she was very flexible with where my rabbit would stay, as well as how much space she could roam around in. She offered a whole room, that would be gated at the door, for my bunny. Since the meet and greet went so well, we booked her for the days we would be traveling. She made sure there was a carpet for my bun’s feet so she wouldn’t be on the hardwood floor. She put baby plugs in the outlets so my bunny couldn’t get to them. I felt very comfortable leaving my bunny with Julia and her family, they were all very kind. They even put a camera in the room so when they weren’t with my bunny, they could always keep an eye on her. My bunny seemed very comfortable and happy with the situation and adjusted very well because of Julia’s hospitality. Julia offered everything she could to make sure my bunny had an amazing stay. We will definitely be booking Julia again!!”

“I am so thankful I found Samantha to watch my high energy pup when my family went on vacation recently. She and her husband were so good with my guy. She was also very responsive to my constant checking in and sent tons of pictures and videos. I would 100% recommend her to anyone needing care for their fur babies. She was a true Godsend.”

“Carol is wonderful!!Excellent care for our minature schnauzer . We received a picture with a note everyday . We called to check if she had any questions and she was very receptive and kind. Very safe clean environment . Beautiful back yard for walks . Carol is very knowledgeable about dogs!! Highly recommend !!”

“Samantha was absolutely wonderful. We were very nervous about leaving our senior dog and very soon in to taking our little dog in we were good. Samantha really did an excellent job making sure he ate and giving him his medicine. We will definitely recommend Samantha to take care of your dog. We will be using Samantha again.”

“Kasia is a SAINT - she watched our dog for 10 days, after he had recently had a procedure to have a growth removed. He had his cone, lots of medications, and was more uncomfortable than we had expected. She was so patient with him, help with tapering his meds over his recovering, transitioned him back to his normal food, and gave him lots of love. She was fantastic with updates too. We felt terribly putting this on her, but she handled it with grace and understanding. A true empath and dog lover. She is simply the best!”
“My dog always has a good time at Leslie's house, and Leslie takes great care of her. She also sends cute photos every day, which really helps when you miss your pup!”

“Pam is wonderful and I could tell our sweet girl loved it at Pam’s place. I’ve already rebooked! So thankful to have found her! She sent me photos and a video to assure me my beagle was doing well! Thank you Pam!”

“Jeffery made ny two rescue pups feel right at home on his lovely farm. Jeffery even watched my 5 month old pup who is still potty training. My girls came home tired and loved. We will definitely book Jeffery again!”

About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. While I am working, your dog can settle on the couch or one of the many dog beds, or relax and play with my dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Foxhound). If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. I live on 4 acres next and next to a cemetery, so I can take your dog for relaxing walks in a peaceful environment.
“Lourdes provided excellent care for my dog . She sent lots of pictures of Riley relaxing on her furniture, playing in her fenced yard and playing with her dog. I would highly recommend her to care for your dog.”

We had such a wonderful experience with Paige. She took great care of our dog, Shadow, and kept us updated with photos and messages, which we really appreciated. Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
