“This was the first time leaving Nellie (12 yr old female) with any one but family. One week before our 2 week trip, we were left with no one to watch Nellie. We found Amy on Rover and she seemed like a good fit right away. We set up a meet and greet with Nellie and Amy and it went well, and we felt comfortable enough to leave Nellie with her and her family. The most important attribute that Amy had that was important to us was her comfort in administering lots of meds to a very resistant Nellie. Amy had her way and it worked perfectly with Nellie. About: I have had a dog of my own since I was 12 and absolutely adore all animals. I did a decent amount of dogsitting over the 2022 summer and loved it :) I am a freshman and hamilton college but hoping to do more over the upcoming summer. I am honestly pretty open other than working 1-5 usually everyday. Besides that I am available to take care of your pup whenever it is needed :) Please just let me know what works best for you! I love to take dogs on walks and really just spend quality time with them. I really just enjoy the company and think they’re adorable :) I could play all day or watch a show on the couch with some pets depending on what they need from me!

About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. While I am working, your dog can settle on the couch or one of the many dog beds, or relax and play with my dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Foxhound). If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. I live on 4 acres next and next to a cemetery, so I can take your dog for relaxing walks in a peaceful environment.
