“Samantha and her partner are just amazing! Took care of Kiwi’s very complex medical needs and even made sure she was comfortable walking with her arthritis by layout out rugs for her to walk on she she doesn’t slip. She even made her own chart to keep track of kiwis meds to make sure she never missed a dose. She’s amazing and will be our go to as long as we live in the area! Cant recommend enough!”

“Kim was fantastic, and my dog was so happy at her house. Kim sent lots of photos, and communicated well. I am so happy with Kim’s services, and will be returning again soon. Thank you!”

“Rochelle is the best dog carer you could possibly find. She is calm, patient, loving, and obviously experienced. She and her family welcomed my (energetic) 5 month old Golden Retriever, Lucky, into their home and took great care of him this weekend. I recommend her wholeheartedly Nancy Yurman”

Kimberly sends me pictures and compliments about my Bella....it makes my heart smile. THANK YOU to Kimberly for making me feel like my Bella's at her home away from home.”
“Marie took great care of Duncan. She welcomed us into her home for a meet and greet the week before his stay. She has great experience with dogs, big and small. Duncan settled in quickly. He got lots and lots of exercise and slept comfortably in her bed. Marie sent pictures and updates every day. Duncan loved his time at “camp”. Thank you so much for helping us and taking such good care of Duncan.”
“I could not have had a better first time experience for my shy girl. So many pics and videos that I could see her settling in and quickly getting comfortable. She looked so at home by the end! Lourdes is very loving and attentive. Her dog Yoko is so sweet and laid back she would get along with anyone. She makes a great companion. Lucy especially loved all the outdoor time, the back yard is huge! We will be back at our next opportunity!!”

“We left Parker with Crystal while we were on a 3 day family vacation. Crystal sent us pics of Parker enjoying his time at her house, while we were enjoying ours. Parker was happy and healthy when we returned to pick him up and we wouldn't hesitate to use Crystal again to watch and care for our dog!”

“Our first time taking a trip without our beloved Rocky. We could not have left him in better hands. The daily updates were great, and he seemed to have a great time. I highly recommend Xiting and would use her services again if she is available.”

About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. While I am working, your dog can settle on the couch or one of the many dog beds, or relax and play with my dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Foxhound). If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. I live on 4 acres next and next to a cemetery, so I can take your dog for relaxing walks in a peaceful environment.
“Jenn and her family were exceptional hosts for my Harlow's stay. Harlow was loved on and cared for as much as she is in her own home here with us. We don't often board Harlow, but will not hesitate to rebook with this lovely family.”

“Tammy took great care of my little man! Her home is so welcoming and plenty of space for the pups to run around! I could tell he was very spoiled at her place! I'm so happy to have found a spot ill be able to take him all the time that I can trust!”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
