About: I run Compton Canine Care (check us out on facebook!) and have had experience with different size/age/breed of dogs for the last 15 years as my family absolutely loves animals. Family and friends have had me come over and petsit for them for the last 10 years and I love doing it 😁 I used to work for a pet resort, where I received training in dog body language and group play as well as proper cleaning for dogs. I spend my days playing with lodging and daycare dogs and occasionally walking dogs in town. I take online classes part time from home so I am always around and my fiancé Robbie helps as well! My regulars love him and so do the dogs! 🐕 I mainly do daycare on the weekend during school semesters but take lodging dogs year round! However you’d like me to handle at home visits- you got it! I can let them out, walk them, play with them, feed them. They’ll get to stretch their legs while you’re at work or on vacation!

About: I’ve had various pets since I was about 4 or 5 years old. Early on it was a variety of cats and then in 2003 we brought home JJ, our beloved long haired dachshund who lived for 17 long years. Throughout JJ’s life I encountered the full spectrum of pet care. Everything from the daily routine of feeding, bathroom breaks, playtime etc to more challenging health issues involving his mobility. After JJ passed in 2020, I did not have a pet of my own but tangentially helped with our friend’s cats, ferrets, rats, and birds. In 2022 we brought home my current pet, a tiny Tortishell cat named Nyx who is the sweetest creature to ever exist. I also often pet sit for our friend who has an elderly dachshund and a large cat. I work full time Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5pm but I am more than able and willing to make time before work or after work to help take care of the wonderful critters we call our pets! I also am more than happy to set time aside on the weekend as long as my schedule allows for it and I have enough notice. As of now my main goal is to take care of pets either at a client’s home or designated area that they wish (park, backyard, etc). But I am incredibly respectful of other people’s space as I would want the same from someone entering my home. I also believe strongly in respecting any animal’s boundaries, personal space, and personalities and will do everything in my power to make sure they receive the best care possible and leave the space/area as clean as it was when I arrived. The animals deserve just as much respect as the humans involved!

“Heather was super sweet, understanding and very responsive! She understood my circumstances for needing my kitty Poptart watched and had no complaints with how last minute my request was. When there was an interference with the pickup time, she was completely understanding and didn’t charge extra. I even told her about Poptart’s disliking of other cats, and she kept her in a room separate from her own and even offered to introduce my cat to hers to get her more accustomed to being around other cats in the future. Overall, she was a wonderful sitter and I’ll definitely consider her again in the future!”

About: I have 4 years of veterinary care experience along with 2 years of pet boarding experience. I own and care for several of my own animals as well! I am currently available for afternoon visits and care on week days. I have full availability on the weekends for any needs! I can also do midday pop in’s depending on location! I have 1 very friendly dog who does amazing with other animals but if your pet isn’t a fan I always have another safe space for them. I unfortunately do not have a fenced in yard therefore your pet will always be leashed for their safety. I will ensure we do lots of walks and playing to get their exercise!

About: I have 1 dog named bella she is a black lab she is 2 years old. I am 28 years old i love taking care of dogs and making them happy. I have been taking care of dogs professionaly the past year and it makes me so happy. I love making the people but most importanly the dog happy. I am always relaiable and on time my hours are very flexible i can help out at any time. Taking care of dogs makes me happy i can take care of any size dog big or small. About: I am a lifelong animal lover with a strong work ethic and a drive to airways continue learning. Most of my animal experience lies with horses, BUT I also have prior experience working at an animal hospital that provided boarding services for many smaller animals! (Dogs, cats, even some reptiles and bunnies) I primarily took care of boarders and assisted staff with handling and restraining patients for treatment. I handled scheduled play times, feedings, potty breaks, patient check-ins, etc. I have hands on experience with giving oral medications to dogs and cats, some experience in reptile care as well. Lots of special needs and senior dogs that needed a lot of care and medications. As long as there's a detailed note to follow, I can get it done. I am very cautious and take my job as an animal caretaker very seriously. As a horse and cat owner, I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your fur-family in the care of someone else! I will always make sure to do the best I can to leave your fur-babies safe, happy, and comfortable. Animal behavior and training is something I've always been interested in, so I'm always looking to learn more about up to date training methods as well as the best ways to take care of my pets and the ones in my care! I'm currently working Saturday-Monday 7-7 so my schedule stays pretty flexible on my days off (Tuesday-Friday). Tuesdays I can offer limited availability (7am-1:30pm) Wednesday-Friday I can make just about anything work as long as it leaves time during the day to visit my horse :) Any time I'm caring for a family dog or any pet, I'll freshen their water, make sure they've been fed (and that they ate all their food) and that their behavior is normal. If I Iet them out to use the bathroom I'll keep an eye out to make sure everything looks normal and healthy and that they're not acting unwell. If they're interested, we'll play a little bit before I leave. Same routine for cats, except instead of taking them out to go potty I'll clean their litter box.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. We have always had at least one dog in the house if not more. In the past 6 years I have helped my parents to puppy train twice. I love dogs unconditionally, but I am not afraid to show a little tough love when needed. I’m currently going back to school and attend a lot of local sporting events but I still make it a priority to take my dog for a walk daily. Whether we fit in a walk before I leave in the morning or in-between class and a game, I know how much she loves her walks. I also make sure to give her ample play time when I am home. I make sure that whether the pet is in a fenced in yard or not I am always keeping an eye on them when outside. I always respect the clients wishes regarding their animal being on furniture, in what rooms, and such on.
