“Thanks Meng for taking a good care of my cat while I was away for a vacation. I know my cat can be difficult to strangers sometimes but Meng took care of my cat well and she also tried to interact with him as much as possible. All litter boxes were clean and water fountain was refilled with fresh water. Very appreciated!”

About: I raised our family dog, Max, for 16 years and was responsible for his senior care diet for about 3 years before he left us for doggy heaven. I’ve frequently considered getting my own dog since then, but instead have found a lot of joy in dog sitting for friends and family over the last 6 years. I have experience with dog sitting ranging from short term stays (weekends) to longer term stays (1-2months), and I love being a dog auntie! I work from home and am easily able to provide pet care around the clock. I also have easy access to a walkable neighborhood that allows me to take your dog for regular potty breaks! I currently do not have any pets of my own, but have a dog food bowl and water bowl on hand just in case any friends or family with pets are visiting or in need of last minute care. I also have experience cooking fresh food and meal toppers for the dogs who stay with me, but only do this if the friend/family asks me to, and with ingredients that their pet is familiar with. I do not have any plants in my home to keep it a safe environment for animals, and I prefer to have pets to explore and roam around the home freely throughout the day. If the owner wishes that the pet stays in a crate, I can do that as well!

“Victoria did an awesome job! She communicated well throughout and made sure our kitties got both play time and pet time. The house looked great when we got back and the kitties seemed happy and healthy. Thanks Victoria!”

About: I have over 15 years of experience taking care of dogs and have an adorable rescue pup who keeps me busy with daily training and cuddles. I recently graduated with my Master's degree and am actively job searching so I have nothing but time on my hands to devote to taking care of your fur baby. I can easily adapt to any environment and dog personality. I will honor your wishes as to how you would like me to engage with and care for your pup.

About: Hi! I work from home full time and am the proud mom of a very fluffy and very cute playful poodle mix who wants to be friends with all the doggos! Are you looking for a playmate for your bored dog to keep him/her company during the day while you work? Do you have a dog with separation anxiety that can't be left alone and would like a night out? When you are going on holiday, do you need a detail oriented person who goes out of her way to ensure your pup is comfortable, happy, and safe in your absence? Then this is the perfect listing for you! Because I work from home, I can provide constant care for your pup, if needed. My very friendly social butterfly pup would love a companion to keep him company. I seriously considered getting my dog a dog, but decided that the next best thing would be to do Rover and have new rotating fur babies bring joy to our lives. I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pup and since my pup is spoiled with 3-4 walks a day, so will yours! The dogs that tend to thrive with my Brady and I are small or medium dogs that are: (1) friendly, but shy bunnies, who just need a little extra time and attention to come out of their shell, (2) super playful energetic personalities, or (3) very chill pups who are independent and like to relax on their own. I usually take one dog at a time. In a few rare occasions, I will take two dogs, but will notify the owner before booking. I will never take more than two dogs (plus Brady) per day. My calendar is up to date on my availability. Because I work from home, at the very least, I am generally available during the week for daycare or boarding. My Brady is always here to help keep your dog entertained! I know how important your pet is to you because my Brady is so important to me. I strive to keep your pet feeling safe, comfortable, happy, loved, and having tons of fun when they are in my care. I go out of my way and spend considerable time in the beginning to ease in anxious or shy pups, to help build trust and a bond.

About: I have taken care of a number of dogs from puppies to senior dogs. I have even trained my own dog how to do backflips I'm currently working, but I have plenty of time to hang out with puppy friends and offer boarding services. I work from home three days a week, so I'm available during the day to spend time with them. My apartment is quite spacious, and I have a friendly dog and a lovely cat who would be great company for your pet. I also have extra crates and plenty of dog toys for enrichment and training.

“Joana was great!! She took care of our two cats and did a wonderful job. She sent thorough updates and photos and I was able to relax and enjoy the vacation knowing they were in good hands. Will definitely use her again next time!”

About: I have owned two dogs in my life, both of which were raised as puppies. Daisy, my first dog, developed cancer in the last year of her life, and I cared for her deeply until the end. I gave her endless love and medical attention during the especially hard times, and am thankful she was able to pass away peacefully in my home. I currently work full-time from home. I am typically home most of the day and can give attention to your pet throughout the day or let them chill if they need a break. I have a small fenced front porch for a dog to get outside time or sunbathe. I am a big dog lover and like to play and cuddle animals in my care. I want to make sure the dog is comfortable around me while they are in my care, so I like to take the time to get to know them and their personalities so that I can give them the best care.

About: Hi there! I'm someone who loves animals and understands the care and attention they need. I grew up with both dogs and cats—everything from Dachshunds, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and cats of varying breeds and ages - so I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and personalities. Whether your dog needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or just some extra affection, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I treat every pet like family, because they deserve nothing less! I’m currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of availability throughout the week to care for your pet. I'm available most days between 9 AM and 8 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend openings as well. I’m happy to be flexible to fit your schedule and your pet’s unique needs—whether that means regular walks, drop-in visits, or just some extra attention during the day. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for your pet. For walks, I always make sure your dog is securely leashed with properly fitted gear and only walk them in safe, familiar areas unless otherwise discussed. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, whether that means avoiding other dogs, sticking to a specific route, or using a particular harness. During drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your home is left exactly as I found it—secure and tidy. I’ll double-check doors, gates, and any areas your pet has access to, and I’ll keep you updated with messages, photos, or notes so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to provide consistent, loving care that builds trust—not just with your pet, but with you as well.

About: I have 10+ years of experience with dogs, including owning a rescue and volunteering with local shelters. I walk 10k steps daily, so your pup will get great exercise, fresh air, and fun. I’m patient, loving, and great with seniors, shy, and energetic dogs—but I’m not the right fit for aggressive pups. I also have been taking care my neighbors puppies since last month and can provide references if needed! What you will get with me: 1) end of day doggy day report 2) pictures and videos of your dog’s day 3) peace of mind - if prefer, I can give you hourly update through whatever means of communicating to make sure your dog is getting the best care under me I work remotely on an East Coast schedule, which gives me flexibility during the weekday mornings, lunch hours, and afternoons. Pet care fits in naturally with my daily routine, especially since I aim for 10k steps a day. I love starting or breaking up my workday with dog walks or check-ins—it’s a win for me and the pups! Also I can watch your dog during the day :) In a client’s home, I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I give them plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise—especially walks to get their energy out. I always respect your space, follow care instructions closely, and send regular updates so you feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I'm a marketing executive living in Culver City. My dog passed a couple years back and after much consideration I've decided to try being the 'fun uncle' as I am to my human niece and nephews vs. getting another pup. I grew up with Goldens and had a King Charles for a decade - I love dogs of all ages and breeds. I work remotely and have lots of flexibility with my job. I love to go for walks and would love some canine company! A regular thing would be a blessing. My last dog had a lot of health issues and required special care. I know how important it is to look after someone's fur baby in as close to the same way as they would to make sure they get all the love and care they need.

About: I have been primary caretaker for dogs since I was 10 years old, and have trained two special needs dogs, one who was aggressive and one who was easily overstimulated and afraid of everyone. I choose my own hours at my job and write in my spare time, so I'm flexible and available most days of the week to care for your dogs! My home is primarily in indoor residence, but I go on walks every hour so your dog will get plenty of outdoor time. I'm also great at following instructions, so any special needs you have for your dogs I will follow to the T.

I recently got a dog and he started dropping by regularly just to visit her, give her some love, and take her on walks. And who knows, you might get lucky and he will teach them some tricks.”

Jing H.
“Jing is my go-to dog walker whenever I'm out of town, and she’s truly exceptional! With my doorbell camera and living room camera, I can see how nurturing and attentive she is with my pup. Jing’s care and dedication give me complete peace of mind, and my dog absolutely loves her. I wholeheartedly recommend Jing to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate dog walker!”

Paul L.
“My friends and I all joke (but it's a not a joke!) that we'd love to come back in our next life as Paul's dog!! He was the most caring and loving dog Dad to his pup and our dogs are absolutely obsessed with him. Any dog would be lucky to be in his care! :)”

Kaith K.
“Kaith has watched my slightly high maintenance dogs overnight and taken them on walks, and follows instructions well. Izzy and Nutmeg can be reactive to new people/other dogs, so it was a relief to find someone who followed my instructions about keeping them away from people and other dogs when out walking, and about my treat reward system for good behavior. They both have meds, which Kaith had no trouble giving. I'm so glad I found someone who can work with my pitties, and do things the way I need them to be done.”

Emily & Glenn Z.
“Emily is a huge pet lover. She is so good at playing with and caring for dogs. She also loves to spoil them with toys, treats and love.”
Palms pet parents share their Rover experiences
Tara was absolutely excellent! She watched our two beagles, Slate and Astoria, for 6 days while my wife and I were in Spain, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She provided detailed daily updates along with plenty of pictures, which really reassured us that our pups were happy and well cared for. It was such a relief to be away and not have to stress about their care. Tara clearly loves animals and treats them like her own. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, attentive, and caring to watch their dogs.

Jackeline is amazing! She cared for my dog Rio three times a week while I was at the office, and he absolutely loved spending time with her. She’s knowledgeable, reliable, and communication has been excellent. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trusted pet caregiver!

Emily is so kind and patient which made my experience booking her as my sitter that much more peaceful. It was my first time leaving my baby with someone new and I’m really really grateful Emily sent photos and updates as needed. Her patience is truly a gem!
