About: Having pets in my life is something that I've always used. I've been taking care of cats and dogs since I was a child, they have always been part of my family, we were members of a foundation to help pets in need in my homeland. My friends, my family, and even people I did not know at first trusted me with their pets since they heard from others about how I sitter. My schedule is quite flexible. I have plenty of free time to take care of your pets whenever you need me. I am always available during the week and on some weekends. Where I live, there is a dog park—a huge space for walking. My home also has a large yard, and I have plenty of things for them to play with; your pet will never get bored. I will always follow your instructions regarding how to feed your pet, and each one will have its own food bowl if needed. If your pet requires anything else, please let me know in advance.
About: Hi, My name is Michael M. I just moved backed home to Miami. Since my first memories we have always owned dogs. My mom had a habit of picking up stray dogs. Her heart always broke when she saw a furry defenseless dog begging for food or needing shelter. My mom's big heart exposed me to many types of dogs all different sizes and temperament. I have been dog sitting for a while now and it's one of my favorite things to do. I am a realtor and I am able to work from home during the day while clients are working and when I am away it's for only a few hours at a time. I have a fenced yard. Like I said my dog loves social interaction with other friendly doggies and would love to find friends he could play with. I am a real estate agent with my office at home. I will be able to watch over them while they play.
“Arlo, while being a lovely lazy boy that isn't high maintenance, has a bit of a routine that is precise to him and requires extra effort, no questions asked. He takes pills for breakfast, he takes different pills for dinner, he requires a mix of wet and dry food, he is special needs in that he is blind, and, on top of all of the things about my boy, I live in a gated community where the only ability to access the entrance gate (and sidewalk gate) is operated via my phone solely (more than enough reasons for a person to pass on taking care of him). Luisa blew me away with her attention to detail in caring for Arlo and her clear love for animals that showed through all of the adorable photos she shared with his giant smile. I will definitely be using Luisa in the future because I know Arlo loved her based on his reactions during his meetup and the final visit, and her ability to take care of dogs that require a 'checklist' to take care of. Thank you again for your hard work while I was out of town!”

“Thank you Johanna for loving on our pups while we were away. The communication was strong the entirety of our trip, and though she didn’t stay the night, she made sure to walk them enough so they were good to go. We look forward to our next booking!”

About: This is a dual sitter account! Me and my partner will both be present during bookings 🐾. About Isa: Hi! Here's a little about me : As someone slowly trying to transition into a more vegan lifestyle, I've always loved animals ever since I was a little girl and I'm always the type of person to see a stray kitten and feed them immediately. I am on a constant mission of rescuing stray cats/animals and bringing them to safety. I myself have a one year old cat that I rescued from a park and I help take care of my partners french bulldog :). I have experience taking care of a variety of dogs, whether they are big or small. Some dog breeds I have cared of include french bulldog, pitbull, husky, golden doodle, australian shepard, and many more! About Rei: Hello, I look forward to helping take care of all your precious babies. Since I can remember I have always fostered a variety animals in my home. Whether it was a bird, a turtle, bunnies, or dogs and cats; in my home they've all been treated equally and loved with all my heart! I avidly seek new experiences, and walking or caring for any animal has always been one of my favorites. Raising animals is not new to me, and neither is taking care of one that needs medical attention, or a scheduled medication. I don't think ill ever spend a day of my life not wanting to care for any animal, and i'm more than happy to help yours! Rei and I are both currently working part-time so we have a lot of flexibility when it comes to our schedule. We are both usually available on after 2 pm on most weekdays & weekends. As we are college students, our availability may be subject to change so just give us a text and we can arrange a time that fits both our schedules to take care of your fur babies! Rei and I have a fenced yard for play time in the backyard with pups. We also have a variety of toys to play with for cats and dogs as well as many treats. We always try to keep the house free of any scents such candles/diffuser in order to not harm my pets.
“Although I was hesitant to use this app, I was blessed enough to come across Abby. She was very responsive & accommodating for our meet and greet. Abby was very loving to our fur baby ensuring he was well taken care of while we went away on vacation. She kept me updated and was very patient/respectful in dealing with me. She went above and beyond to ensure our home was kept clean and tidy. I will definitely be reaching out again, we can’t thank her enough 🙏🏻”

About: “What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience and patience. I’ve owned and cared for my dog for over 10 years, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages. I’m skilled at potty training, keeping dogs on a routine, and making sure they stay active and well-fed. especially with my my dog passing recently. I will make it my priority to make sure others dogs are well taken care of. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I’m already used to caring for my own dog. I make time every day for feeding, walking, playtime, and bathroom breaks. I’m consistent with schedules, so adding another pet into my routine is no problem. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely. I stick to the pet’s normal schedule, make sure they eat on time, take them on walks, give bathroom breaks, and spend time playing or keeping them company.
About: I take care of different type of animals and I care for them all deeply, such as, birds, hamsters, dogs, cats, and a bearded dragon. I started pet sitting with my wife where we gained experience working with puppies and kittens as young as 6 weeks old. I have worked with both dogs and cats that have special dietary needs and require medication. I have experience walking leash aggressive dogs and dogs that are less cooperative on walks. I also have experience working with children, my wife has worked in a daycare for over 5 years. Si no estoy disponible, entonces mi esposa estaría disponible y viceversa. Me and my wife will make sure to give you constant updates of your pet throughout the day and I love to send a lot of pictures and videos 📸 🎥 My wife and I are impeccable at following a schedule and following instructions. We will make sure that your pet gets their routine walk and meal times and/or medications as scheduled. ✅ For the safety of dogs we make sure we avoid other unfriendly animals on walks. With leash aggressive dogs I’m strong and attentive enough to make sure they stay on the leash securely even when they are triggered. We are on top of communication and we will notify you about what me and your fur baby are up to. My wife and I will make sure to contact you immediately of any questions or concerns to prevent emergencies. Communication is how we build safety, trust, and environment. 🫶
About: I have taken care of pets for others since I was little. When I was 13 we got a dog of our own and she is now my best friend. My dad taught me how to train dogs very well, so I have helped a lot of my friends with their new puppies. I’m an athlete so most dogs cannot pull me. During covid I helped people groom their pets because places weren’t accepting other animals. I now have two cats, as being in college and living in an apartment isn’t the best fit for big dogs. I’m very patient with animals and them getting comfortable with me, some may call me a pet whisperer. I currently have no job because i’m a college athlete. I am home for the summer and trying to make some money. I have a completely free schedule other than going to the gym for an hour everyday. I am gone on some weekends but I will make sure to mark my availability ahead of time. I have a girl golden doodle myself and she is super friendly. She has a mean bark but the second she gets close to you she starts licking. I am well capable of feeding your pets on whatever schedule you need. I am super active so if your pet needs to be entertained, I am perfect for the job. I can crate your pet if needed. If you need me to bathe ur pet as well, I am always up for the task. I have me fur baby myself and have been taking care of her for 5 years.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Palm Springs North
We couldn’t be happier with the care our dogs, Gus and Otis, received. They were incredibly attentive, reliable, and clearly treated our pups like family. We received regular updates and always felt at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Gus and Otis came home happy, well cared for, and loved. It’s such a relief to find someone so trustworthy and genuinely caring. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional pet care and will definitely use them again in the future!
Michelle was so great to work with- communicative, friendly, and our pets loved having her stay for the weekend! She provided detailed daily info about how everything was going, as well as pictures throughout her stay. Michelle handled our senior dog's medications perfectly and ensured he was healthy and well-taken care of the whole time. Our cat also warmed up to her quickly, which isn't always the case. Things couldn't have gone any better and we already rebooked for another stay!

Mercedes was absolutely wonderful—kind, attentive, and truly caring. She treated Smokey like royalty, keeping him happy, engaged, and well-loved every single day. I received daily photo updates, which made me feel at ease while I was away. When I returned, Smokey was happy, well-fed, and clearly in great spirits. Mercedes is not only a great sitter but also a genuinely lovely person. I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you, Mercedes!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Palm Springs North walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Palm Springs North maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Palm Springs North choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
