“Denys took amazing care of our dog Rocky while we were away. He was reliable, caring, and kept us at ease knowing Rocky was in great hands. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog. Highly recommend!”

“Laura is an awesome pet sitter! She took great care of our 2 Aussies. We communicated throughout our vacation and she sent photos daily. We found our home in perfect condition. We will definitely request her in the near future. Thank you, Laura!”

“5 starts just isn’t enough. Scott was our first experience having our dogs house sit & first time leaving our pup, it was challenging passing him down to Scott, but he made it all possible, was flexible, helpful and surpassed all our expectations and MORE. Hands down, BEST doggie sitter out there & super loving with the pups. 10?”

“Nicole was the best with my baby Enzo! The whole time I felt completely at ease because she cared for him just as well as I would. I really appreciate how punctual she was, both for our meet and greet and on the day of the booking, which allowed me to leave home and catch my flight without any issues. She shared photos with me the entire time and was super transparent about her schedule, letting me know when she was with him or away from the house. She was very attentive to his routine and followed all the care instructions we gave her. She played with him, made sure he rested, and spoiled my little one. She went above and beyond our expectations, and Enzo loved her!”

“Audrey is a great sitter for my cats. She even took care of my tanks too. My cats are safe and happy. I got informed everyday and never got worried for my babies. I will definetly book her again”

About: I’ve taken care of pet since I was 15, I have a beutiful puppy myself, named Canela who is very friendly and is 7 years old, I also have a cat named miko who lives her best life. They are both friendly and we love having company, going out for walk and taking the sunbathing in our patio. I’m available on weekends and weekdays, I am fully available to take care, feed and walk your pets while they enjoy their stay with me! I have a fenced patio and one small friendly dog who loves to sleep all day and one cat that loves to sunbath in the patio
About: I absolutely adore animals. I love being able to love on them and they are a blessing in my life. They just bring absolute joy and excitement into my life. With medications I can give vitamins & pills if needed but have never handled needles. I am willing to learn if needed!! I have pet sat from around a year old all the way to 10+ years with joint issues. I am very easy and work better with clear instructions. The more the better. I want to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible as well sticking to the same routine while you’re away so they aren’t thrown off too much. I currently do this full time & absolutely love it. My schedule is pretty open and I am VERY flexible. I am also flexible on price. I want to make this as easy as possible for my clients and make sure they are 100% satisfied with my services. When I am in a clients home I like to go by a routine that’s written out by the client. I like clear and set instructions (food, potty, water preference, etc) that way I can follow their normal routine and make them as comfortable as possible while the owner is away.
About: I have had pets since I was a kid, I like to play and caress them. I have had a total of 6 dogs over my life, I also have raised rabbits, turtles and hamsters. I also like cats but hasn’t had the opportunity to raise one yet, but I would like to. I remotely work at home. I’m software developer and I’m always able to take breaks, my schedule is flexible. But I use to go to the gym at early at mornings Usually I like to be with them, ask them if they want food or if they want to take a walk, or take one of his toys and ask if they want to play with that. Usually dogs likes when I pet them
About: My own pets are a true testament to my passion for animal care. I currently care for the needs of a highly sociable 10 year old Husky/Lab mix named Oreo, alongside my one year old rescue cat, Pebble. Through careful introductions and positive reinforcement, I successfully socialized Pebble with Oreo and a variety of other animals. Because I have experience with both a senior dog and a young rescue cat, I know how to read behavioral cues and can easily shift from active dog walks to quiet, patient bonding time with shy kitties. Your pets will be in safe, experienced hands! My overnight work schedule gives me incredible flexibility during the day. I can easily work around your needs, making me a great fit for midday walks, afternoon check-ins, or daytime pet sitting while you're at work! Currently my totally free days are Sunday/Monday. "Safety is at the core of my caregiving. Drawing on 20 years of personal pet ownership, I am deeply attentive to animal behavior and highly vigilant about pet and home security. I treat every client's pet with the exact same protective care and respect that I give my own.
About: I’ve always wanted a pet. Not giving up, I now provide care and love for others’ fur babies while they are away. They will always have fun and get the best care with me. I’m currently a online student and a mom so the flexibility of my morning and evening before I pick my kids up is a great way to earn money. I make sure they get enough exercise and brought water as well as their food. When it’s time to eat I do my best to make sure they eat. I’m a firm believer about pets needing the natural feeding style they would use in the wild.
About: I am the ultimate pet lover who will want the best care for your pet. There will be lots of love, attention, and playing with your pet. I’ve taken care of little dogs and cats from under a year to massive ones over 10 years old. I’m generally always available, especially when summer begins. There’s always someone in my household so your beloveds will always be safe and attended if for a rare reason I’d have to leave the house. I’m very patient with animals and I’m very detail oriented. I have a massive backyard that is fenced in. I love seeing animals happy and excited. Walking with them always feels like a little adventure and is so great for not only their health, but mine too! I am at home full time so I can attend your pet as often as they’d like! I can take them out multiple times a day and run with them in the backyard. I have a large fenced in backyard and a very friendly Siberian husky at home who can be separated if needed. We have many rooms and pets are allowed on the furniture!
“We have used other sitters but by far John is THE BEST! He came by our house 1st and spent time getting to meet our cat and dog. He made us feel so comfortable. Excellent communication and pictures. Our girl always looked like she was smiling in all the pics. The house was perfect. He is certainly a keeper! Highly recommend him.”

“Stephanie was my very first experience with Rover and my first time having someone stay at my house with my dog that wasn’t family or close friends. I am happy to report that she exceeded my expectations and I would definitely use her again! She came over a few weeks prior for a meet and greet and put my mind at ease. I knew Kylo would be in good hands. Stephanie sent SO many great photos throughout the two days/one night she was with him, and did absolutely everything I asked on the print out I left for her. She is responsive and timely, and I can confidently highly recommend her!”

“Estefany made sure that my little one is well taken care of. She took her to lots of walks and made sure she had playtime. She also stuck with the feeding times and potty breaks. I felt really comfortable with her especially while i was out of the country. She even gave me some polaroids of Poppy. Thank You Estefany. I will make sure to call you again for help with Poppy!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid, whether it was dog walking or playing with them. Ive had numerous families rely on me as I am also a nanny, and take care of their pets. I currently work part time. One of my jobs is dog sitting. So I’m pretty flexible as need be. I love to make the time to ensure the pet doesn’t feel lonely. I normally work in the clients home. We either play around the home or head on outside to a safe area where they can get tons of movement.
“Daniella took wonderful care of our dog and home. She updated us on how he was doing and he looked so happy in the videos she sent us. We would not hesitate to have her take care of our dog again.”

We couldn’t be happier with the care our dogs, Gus and Otis, received. They were incredibly attentive, reliable, and clearly treated our pups like family. We received regular updates and always felt at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Gus and Otis came home happy, well cared for, and loved. It’s such a relief to find someone so trustworthy and genuinely caring. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional pet care and will definitely use them again in the future!
Michelle was so great to work with- communicative, friendly, and our pets loved having her stay for the weekend! She provided detailed daily info about how everything was going, as well as pictures throughout her stay. Michelle handled our senior dog's medications perfectly and ensured he was healthy and well-taken care of the whole time. Our cat also warmed up to her quickly, which isn't always the case. Things couldn't have gone any better and we already rebooked for another stay!

Chris was an awesome puppy sitter !! He came to our house to watch our dog while we left for the day. He is super sweet and loves dogs, and our puppy loves him. He also literally trained our puppy how to lay down in just one visit !! When i came home i tried it and she knew the command. He sent us the cutest photos of our pup and continued strong communication / updates while we were gone!!

Mercedes was absolutely wonderful—kind, attentive, and truly caring. She treated Smokey like royalty, keeping him happy, engaged, and well-loved every single day. I received daily photo updates, which made me feel at ease while I was away. When I returned, Smokey was happy, well-fed, and clearly in great spirits. Mercedes is not only a great sitter but also a genuinely lovely person. I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you, Mercedes!

Angelina was an AMAZING choice to take care both our house and our furry baby. She went above and beyond, provided updates, pictures, even extra toys. Left the apartment clean and organized. She is a very responsible person, even after a very big personal inconvenient She showed up and made sure our pup was taken care of. Recommend 1000%

FAQs for House Sitting - Country Club
Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Country Club on Rover is $49.95 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 4,177 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Country Club. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Country Club walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Country Club maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Country Club choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Country Club. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
