“Lisa was absolutely amazing! It was our first time leaving our pup at just 12 weeks old and we couldn’t have asked for a better puppy sitter! Lisa’s demeanor and energy put me at ease the second we video chatted before dropping Duncan off the next day. The updates, photos and videos Lisa sent were very reassuring and I felt at ease knowing he was taken care of. I would certainly recommend Lisa to any dog owner looking for a nurturing sitter and we will definitely be booking Lisa again in the future!”

“Denise is an amazing care taker of pets. I have had my dogs stay with her when I travelled and I think they enjoyed staying with her more than coming home. She is flexible and able to meet most requests. I have also had her provide walks when I am running late and that has been super helpful as well to know that my pet has a back up if I get busy.”

11. Chris G.
About: I’ve had my knee replaced which has slowed me down a tad but also allows me be to home all the time. We recently lost our old boy (dog of 12 years) and while my cats have helped me to survive, I have so much more love to give! For now I want to spend time with others’ dogs to help fill the whole in my heart. I genuinely want to make every animal a friend of mine! I will always lead with love, care and respect. I work from home already which is usually stuff I take care of in the evenings anyway but I have the time, love and space to accommodate your furry family members. We currently have three lovable cats and one old dog that we recently took in. The cats have been around lots of animals and just want love. The dog struggles to move around too much so keeps to himself mostly. We have a big open area indoors for them and lots of yard as well.

12. Kristine A.

“Grateful to Kristine for her supreme care of my senior Maltese BrotherWilly. He is a happy pup for the kind care this afternoon. As this is my first experience with Rover, my nerves were also quelled by photos, videos and communication that Kristine provided. Thank you very much, Christine (and Rover). Sincerely grateful.”

13. Jessica S.
About: I’ve had dogs all of my life, since I can remember. I have potty trained puppies and taught them tricks. I have experience with senior dogs and special needs as well. I also used to have a hamster, a rat, and hedgehog. Currently I own one dog and a saltwater fish tank. I have plenty of experience with cats as well. I’m pretty much a sucker for any animal. They all have my heart. I typically have plenty of time to care for your pet and I’m usually always available. I also have open availability on weekends and holidays as well. My schedule is flexible. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I will do what it takes to make sure that your pet is comfortable and enjoy their time that I care for them:)

14. Saprina R.

“They were perfect. They treated him like family”

15. patricia e.
“Patricia is my go-to pet sitter. She is reliable and honest. What is more important is that she loves my dogs. They are her "friends" and they love her. She is careful and how she handles Boo Boo and Poochi and they can be a handful but that has not scared Patricia off. She embraces them in a way that engenders their confidence in her as a caregiver. I highly recommend Patricia E. as a pet and house sitter. She is the bomb!!! And - she will not disappoint!!!!”

16. Julia F.
“Let me begin by saying that my dog is a part of my family and I treat her as such! I am very particular and extremely choosey of who I allow to care for her as I would my own children. That being said, I HIGHLY recommend Julia as she has my full trust and confidence. She has always treated my dog as if they were her own. She is completely reliable, trustworthy and goes above and beyond. My dog adores her and that means everything to me. It is apparent from the moment you see her interact with your dog that it is not just a job to her, she is genuine and sincere and really loves dogs. She is very knowledge of canine care and has provided so many tips to help me with taking care of my dog. The peace of mind in knowing that my precious dog is well cared for is priceless and would recommend her to any loving pet owner.”

17. Tetia D.
“Tetia is miraculous with animals. She is very calm and soothing to pets. Her voice is soft spoken and the dogs really feel safe and secure with her boarding them. She is excellent and training dogs and specializes in dog routines. I believe Tetia will be an excellent Dog Sitter.”

18. Siobhan H.
About: i’ve been a dog owner and pet sitter for 30 years but now that I’m retired from Johns Hopkins Hospital I have some more time to do this officially my history of taking care of dogs was mostly friends and families aside from my own pets… I live in Chesapeake Beach and love taking dogs on walks to Brownies Beach and the Chesapeake Trail… I have a huge fenced in yard. Perfect for dogs to play. I currently am retired from Johns Hopkins Hospital and owned to Airbnb that keep me busy but not busy enough and that’s why I’ve chosen to add Rover my home is the perfect set up for pets being there is a doggie door and a huge fenced in yard. Dogs will get walked at least once every four hours and will always be in my care.

19. Roxanne R.

“Lots of loving care from this family for my pup! She seems to have had a good time.”

20. Brittany P.

“We had a great experience with Brittany. She took great care of our 8 month old puppy, she made sure to get an idea of his schedule and get an idea of what our puppy was like before we dropped him off. At the end of the day when we picked up our pup, we could tell he had a great day filled with lots of care, fun, and attention.”
