“Kelly and Maurice make Zoey feel like part of their family. We received videos and pictures multiple times throughout the day during our travel which really put us at ease. We can’t wait to use Kelly and Maurice during our next vacation.”

“Lindsay is amazing! I took a trip abroad and left my fur babies in her care while I was away and I couldn't be happier with the service she provided. Lindsay is very responsive and provided pictures and updates without me ever having to ask. I highly recommend her for your boarding needs. I will most definitely be sending my babies back to her for future trips.”

“Lori was absolutely AMAZING. This was our first time using Rover, so we were a little nervous. Lori maintained constant communication and sent pictures and videos throughout Chuck’s stay. Chuck had a great time with the other dogs and we will definitely use Lori in the future! Thank you so much, Lori ?”

“After interviewing 4 other families, my babies picked Bianca & I was very pleased. This was their first time staying with any non-family and they did great! Bianca sent updates & pictures and that relieved my mind. I will use her again!”

“Pax had another fun time staying with Denise and Andy. He couldn’t wait to get into her home when we arrived and scratched at the door to get in. I will definitely try to rebook with her in the future.”

“Laura was awesome! Chacco had a blast during his weekend sleepover and loved hanging out with the other pups. She took great care of him, and I felt totally at ease knowing he was in good hands. He came home happy and tired—always a good sign! Definitely booking with her again.”

“This was Balee's first boarding stay with Mady. She and her family were Ah-Mazing! I felt bad leaving because of an ear infection that he was diagnosed with a day before our departure. Balee received lots of TLC during his visit and Mady kept me updated about his adjustment daily (which was comforting).”

“The test was passed. Jax lets us know if he wants to be somewhere. When we pulled up to Shulys again, he was so excited to go play! One short weekend and one long weekend in the books! So glad to have Shuly to take care of Jax while we are away!”
“Thank you Elizabeth, for taking such great care of our boy Max. He requires extra attention due to his separation anxiety. You treated him like he was your own, allowing him to be a lap dog as big as he is. He loves to be next to people. You provided us with pictures and updates on how he was doing. We enjoyed our trip, knowing he was being well taken care of. Elizabeth, you went out of your way to help us stay calm when our flight was significantly delayed. We will definitely use your services again.”

“Latte had a great stay with Monica and her fur babies. This was the first time we left our pet. She has a good process for drop off and getting to know our dog, understanding her needs, feeding, etc. and meeting other dogs. She was very attentive and made sure to communicate and send several pictures each day. We were excited to get our puppy mail and see how Latte was doing. She took great care of our baby. I hope to use her again if I have boarding needs in the future.”

“I appreciate the care Donna provided to Chloe! She seemed to be very happy when I picked her up. I also valued how she took her time introducing her dogs to Chloe to see how their temperaments would be with one another. It also made me comfortable that there was a small group of dogs in the home during her stay. I would definitely rebook with Donna to care for Chloe!”

“I really appreciate all of Sabrina assistance and the proper support with the care of Kamara my fur baby, Sabrina understood the assignment needed for the caring attention that Kamara needed being that Kamara is a elderly dog and my little heart beat. Thank you for your Service Sebrina, God Bless you.”

She was great at arranging pickup and drop off, to make sure it worked with our schedule too. Will definitely be rebooking when we need.”

“Finding Vanessa and Gio was a godsend. We got our fur baby a month before expected and had travel plans we could not change. We were very nervous leaving him after only 10 days with us; but, they put all fear to rest with daily updates, pics, & videos. They followed his schedule and helped with potty and crate training. We can tell he felt safe, cared for, and loved. We’d recommend Vanessa and Gio without hesitation.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Owings
Bianca was very accommodating of our changing schedule, due to the weather, and did a great job calming down two dogs that don’t stay outside of their home. Before I even left her house our Chihuahua seemed comfortable with Bianca holding her. She is typically nervous around strangers and takes time to warm up to them.
Madalyn and her family went above and beyond for our little guy. They took exceptional care of our dog who has history of separation anxiety and used their knowledge and skills to make sure that our boy felt like safe and free of anxiety and boy, did it work! I am so overjoyed that I found an individual who I can rely on to make my pup feel safe and happy!

Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
