Safety is key, walking the property daily to ensure no escape routes and doing door/window checks to keep everyone safe. Keeping their routine as close to normal as possible is key to happy pets.

Go for long walks, play time with toys, or learning new tricks. And of course snuggle time is a must, if the pet permits it.
