“Grateful for Isabella for being one of our trusted drop-in care for Ollie and Freya. She’s easy to communicate with. She sends us updates. We are at ease knowing that our dogs are well taken cared of whenever Isabella is around.”

“This is our third time working with Ronda and we’re very happy with her work! She remembers the details from the last visits and she always sends great updates and pictures of our two cats.”

“Michelle is wonderful. She was attentive to my kitty while we were gone and also helped with a few light watering chores for my garden. I will definitely have her back.”

“Emily went absolutely above and beyond and saved our vacation for us! After having to withdraw our cat from a boarding situation mid-trip, she was able to help us out last minute and absolutely saved our vacation!!! Her straightforward communication, flexibility, and quality of care were the only reason we were able to enjoy ourselves. Pretty sure our cat got exactly what he wanted--to stay in HIS home with Emily looking after him. Thank you again, Emily!”
“Total peace of mind. Jiwan does such a great job hanging out with our kitties and making sure they are safe and happy. This last time one of our cats knocked over a glass pitcher, and she quickly cleaned it up and made sure to check that the cats’s paws were ok. Always communicative, and very friendly. Thanks for another great pet sitting!”

“Tori is the absolute best! This was my first time entrusting my pets with someone I didn’t already know, and she knocked it out of the park. Looking forward to future visits!!”

“Great communication. Lots of pictures. Twice daily visits were to schedule. Overall, Penny was fantastic. Will definitely rely on her to take care of our cat in the future.”

“Michelle is a gem! She watched my 14-year-old, diva husky while I was out of town, and I think don't think my husky even missed me at all because Michelle was so great. She went above and beyond and was incredibly diligent in the details of care. I would highly recommend Michelle to anyone looking for expert pet care. I had so much peace of mind while I was away.”
“Reagan is a true gem! Very communicative, responsive and willing to go out of her way to make sure our animals are well taken care of. We have a dog sit with her next month for a week and couldn’t feel more at ease with it. We’re so glad we found her and highly recommend if you’re looking for a caring pet sitter!”
“Ashley is very friendly and professional. It was clear from our first meeting that her first priority was the well being and commitment to my two cats while I was out of town on vacation. She checked in for all committed visits and communicated with me when there was any deviation to the dates and times of the visits. She clearly was very loving to my two cats because she snapped a picture of them and she got to pet them. That only happens with their approval. Lol. I highly recommend Ashley to provide services while you are away. I will definitely be using her going forward.”

“Anika came by for the meet and greet and was exactly on time! She is very friendly and personable. She took care of our two cats while we were gone (although she didn't see much of Zipper because he's shy). She sent pictures each day of playing with Pixie. I would recommend her to anyone.”

About: I've had cats all my life, current have 3. I have two dogs, both German Sheppards, and love taking care of them! Very in tune with physical cues of discomfort and figuring out what the animals need! I've stayed overnight at family members houses for years to take care of their dogs. I work part time at a coffee shop, but can always make time for taking of your fur babies! I have varying availability everyday and would love to work with your schedule! I also have some experience with administering medicines to both cats and dogs. I am currently working part time as a security officer and don't have a set schedule so i have alot of free time to spend with your pups or kits. I can offer several hours a day of enrichment and am willing to travel to please your puppies or kitties. I love outdoor adventures or just sitting at home one the couch cuddling if that what you and your pets prefer. I will care for your dogs in your home as you would like. If your dog has a set schedule and routine, i have no issues with following this. Same for your feline friends. I have no issues following your instructions as written and will do my best to make it a fun and positive experience for both you and your pet.

I am very patient with nervous animals too! I currently work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. However, I am able to come by 2-3 times per day depending on your pets needs! I would do an early morning visit at around 7am, a check in at 3-4pm, and an additional check in later in the evening depending on your needs. About: I have grown up with pets and even found my first job working at an animal boarding house. You could say I learned to become a professional dog walker at a young age. I have two high anxiety dogs and have been working on their social skills and coping methods to help their anxiety. I work full-time from home but take frequent breaks to let the dogs go out and play and take multiple walks a day to give them exercise. Weekends are mostly free to cuddle and to play with the fur babies. When house sitting or boarding pets I stay close so they be taken care of as needed. I keep my own pets on a schedule feeding, potty breaks and play with puzzles to earn treats. I will follow clients care guidelines to maintain consistency and keep them comfortable while their owners are gone.

Megan was great! She sent pictures of our cats and our tortoise so that we could see them while we were away. I could tell they were very happy and she gave them lot of love and cuddles for us! ❤️ She made sure they were clean and well fed the entire 3 weeks and we are very happy with the job she did. We will definitely hire her again if we're going out of town!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Orient. On Rover:

- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
