“Kristopher and his partner are so nice and were very good to my dog! You can tell that they genuinely care about each pet they watch and will 100% rebook them in the future.”

“This was Chloe's first time away for a long trip and we couldn't be happier that we booked her stay with Gary and Carol! We appreciated the ease of drop-off and pick-up and the quick response time while we were away. Gary was so kind and flexible with my booking mistake on the pick-up day, which we greatly appreciated!! Chloe was nervous at drop-off but seemed to settle in quickly and have a great time. I appreciated the photos of Chloe while we were gone. Thank you and we will be happy to book again in the future!”

“Hanlan was absolutely wonderful!! This was my first time needing a sitter, and I couldn’t have been happier. My two babies had such a fun time. Hanlan was extremely flexible, and was great at communicating. Definitely will be using her again when the next time comes.”

“Love love love it all that they provided to our Tofu❤️Absolutely recommend Linda and her family hosting your fur babies. Our Tofu spent his best two weeks at their place with lots of walks, treats, and even baths when needed. They asked many questions before hand to get to know Tofu and arranged a visit as well. It was such a relief for us during our international trip where we had no access to text messages and major social media. However, Linda still offered to contact us via WhatsApp in order to send daily updates.”

“Great experience from start to finish. Communication was clear from the beginning and updates and photos were provided regularly. Looney was well looked after during his stay.”

“Mackenzie took such good care of our two pups for an extended stay. Our 10 month old puppy ended up being a bit of a handful, but she handled it with patience and grace. We were very appreciative of her communication and care. Definitely recommend her to care for your fur babies.”

“We picked up our VERY happy and VERY tired pup after his boarding over the Christmas holiday weekend and he seems like he had a fantastic time! Michelle did a great job at providing us with daily updates, including photos and videos, and even worked on some training with our dog while he was staying with her. We're super thankful that Michelle was able to provide such an enriching and happy stay for our dog while we were out of town and will definitely use her again in the future!”

“The BEST sitter ever! Becky did an amazing job watching our two pups. We got so many updates and cute photos! We were worry free the whole time knowing our dogs were in good hands! Becky is such a sweet warm person, and goes above and beyond with her dog care (her pets Kito and Tatter were amazing playmates for our babbies). We will for sure be a returning client in the future :)”

“Dave did an excellent job with our Blue Heeler. He has a nice big yard for dogs to roam and play, and was a great communicator throughout the whole experience. We would definitely have our buddy stay with Dave again.”

“Anastasia was excellent. She sent lots of photos and was a very loving and conscientious sitter to our quite elderly pups, one of C which v required regular medication. We Would use her again in a heartbeat.”

“Nadine took SUCH good care of my pups! They loved their time with her. The backyard is amazing… so much room to roam. And her pets got along so well with mine. Lots of communication and photos. It was so nice to know my babies were being loved on so much while I was away. I’d definitely recommend Nadine!!!!”

“We are pleased with Clare and her dog-sitting service. The level of care is phenomenal. She updated us with pictures daily and treated my dogs like her own. She is attentive to them and often goes above and beyond. Thank you, Clare, for being a great dog sitter. I will use her service again next time I'm out of town.”

“I reached out on short notice and she accommodated my need for Lucia. Great updates she provided and I could tell Lucia had a blast with her family and her as I would get updates and videos of her. I would highly recommend and also I will reach out whenever I need a sitter.”

“Kristopher saved the day when our regular neighborhood dog sitter fell through. I had never used rover.com before, so I was shocked to even be able to find someone on such short notice. Less than a minute after I logged onto the website, Kristopher responded that yes, he was available. Talk about fast response time! Wow! He then sent beautiful, professional quality photos of our dog during the three day stay. He also made dropoff and pickup so easy. If we lived closer to his house, Kristopher would be our go-to dog sitter. Thank you for being so great, Kristopher!”

“Louise did an excellent job with our two dogs. She sent plenty of updates and pictures throughout our vacation. She took them out on plenty of walks and made them feel right at home. We would take our dogs to stay with her again in a heartbeat. ”

“Pam is wonderful!! She left our house looking as though no one had stayed there for four days! Our pup was very happy, and Pam sent daily pictures and/or videos. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Pam again!”

I understand cats body language well. I have a full range of cat care, from kittens to seniors. I will always treat your cat as if it is my own, spoiled, well cared for and loved.
“Our Fur Babies Love Sarah. She brightens their day, fills their bowls, cleans their pottypans and most important Let's them know they are Loved. For their humans. We can leave home with the confidence that they are being taken care of by a Professional Pet Sitter who Loves her job.”

About: While I love many species, cats have my heart. I have an older cat and kitten at home. I love caring for all kinds of cats, including feeding, cleaning after them, administering medication, and giving them love (including slowly befriending shy cat friends).

“Jessica was professional, punctual, kind, and an awesome cat sitter. She connected with our cat who can be at times standoffish. She did great following the provided instructions. Highly recommend and will hire her the next time.”

“Anika came by for the meet and greet and was exactly on time! She is very friendly and personable. She took care of our two cats while we were gone (although she didn't see much of Zipper because he's shy). She sent pictures each day of playing with Pixie. I would recommend her to anyone.”

“Lilieana was so kind and gracious in the booking process. She also lives nearby so made everything pretty easy. The pups looked pleased on the pictures and are happy that we are home . Frankie sniffed around for a little while wondering if she was going to come back. Definitely a great sitter pick.”

“Emily takes such wonderful care of my boys (cats). Even super-shy flame-tipped Siamese came out from under the cover because she respected his boundaries. Thanks Emily.”

About: I have grown up with pets and even found my first job working at an animal boarding house. You could say I learned to become a professional dog walker at a young age. I have two high anxiety dogs and have been working on their social skills and coping methods to help their anxiety. I work full-time from home but take frequent breaks to let the dogs go out and play and take multiple walks a day to give them exercise. Weekends are mostly free to cuddle and to play with the fur babies. When house sitting or boarding pets I stay close so they be taken care of as needed. I keep my own pets on a schedule feeding, potty breaks and play with puzzles to earn treats. I will follow clients care guidelines to maintain consistency and keep them comfortable while their owners are gone.

About: I have experience providing attentive and gentle care for cats, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free in their environment. I provide enrichment through play, monitor behavior and health, and make sure each cat receives patience, affection, and proper care.

“Mackenzie was great! She was flexible and took great care of the pups while we floated the river! She was able to give each dog their own space and we appreciate that.”

“It is best that when we need a sitter when coming into town that we contact them again. Our boys have sever separation anxiety, but see to do well. Thank you again?”

“From the beginning, very responsive and helpful! They were able to handle my high anxiety dog and didn’t get annoyed by the overly long explanation I had about his dogality. Followed up with pictures and updates and my dogs had a blast! Highly recommend Cass and Trevor for dog sitting.”

“Amazing couple, beautiful spacious home. They did great with my puppy who was dealing with a lot of separation anxiety. I felt comfortable and relaxed knowing she was getting lots of attention from Julie and Barry. Can't wait for her to get more socialized with Julie and Barry!”

“Shasta and her family are very loving and caring, we truly trust her completely. Our dog Gus gets so excited about having a stay it make leaving him a boy easier knowing he just runs right into the house out of excitement!”

“Emma and Kenzie are incredible and our dogs love them! They go above and beyond to help make life easier for us and even bathed our labs for us. I am so grateful to find such wonderful people who love dogs as much as I do to take care of my pups! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Thank you ladies for being absolutely awesome!”

“Sam did an amazing job taking care of my little Ruby! She was very communicative and clearly has a lot of experience and knowledge about dogs. I would definitely book her again!!”

“My puppy loved his time with Anastasia--he was visibly excited every morning when I dropped him off, Anastasia sent photos and videos of him and his new pals having fun throughout the day, and he was thoroughly exhausted when I picked him up at the end of the day.”

“Cassie was so great with my 4 month old pup! She was able to take him in last minute, as his usual daycare was not available. She assured me that he was doing great and sent so many photos and videos. The play area she has set up provides many different activities to keep the dogs busy. You can tell she is passionate about dogs and cares deeply for them. I wished we lived closer so that I can drop off my pup more often!”

“Izzy has a great time at daycare with Michelle! She comes home tired and happy after a fun day of playing with her friends. Michelle has an awesome set up in her home that is designed for dogs. She is also very attentive to the needs of each dog, patient and loving. Michelle sends photos and videos throughout the day and is very responsive. Highly recommend!”

“Charlene has been hands-down, the BEST dog sitter we’ve ever had. The amount of love, care, fun, and exercise she gave our dog, Ginkgo, was truly exceptional. I’m someone who loves pictures and updates, and Charlene provided beautiful pictures and updates without prompting during Ginkgo’s 4 day stay. He got to go on runs, long hikes, and even got a pup cup with her daughter. He came home each day absolutely exhausted, which was amazing for my husband after working long days. We are so grateful we found Charlene!”

About: Animals have always been part of my life — from horses to fish, and most importantly, dogs. For the past 2+ years I’ve been a foster with the Portland Dachshund Rescue, caring for everything from energetic puppies to seniors with medical needs. Through local dachshund meetups and rescue work, I’ve become known as a trusted safe space for small dogs in the Portland community. What sets me apart is the blend of heart and hands-on skills: • Experience with senior dogs, medical care, and even injections when needed. • Specialized understanding of dachshunds and other small breeds. • A home set up with secure fencing and stairs for tiny dogs’ safety. • The flexibility of working from home most days, with the option to bring pups to the office on others. I treat every guest like my own — with patience, love, and individualized care. Most days I work from home, so your pup will get plenty of company and attention throughout the day. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays I go into the office, but I can often bring a guest dog with me if needed, so they won’t be left alone. Because I only host up to two small dogs at a time (20 lbs and under), I can keep routines flexible — from regular potty breaks and short walks to cuddle breaks on the couch. My schedule is designed to give your pup a safe, consistent rhythm while you’re away. Whether your pup is staying at my townhome or I’m caring for them in yours, safety is always the top priority. My home is rescue-approved with secure fencing, pet stairs, and even an outdoor ramp in progress for tiny legs. Guests are always supervised, indoors and out. If I’m in your home, I treat your space with the same respect I’d want for my own. I understand the trust it takes to hand over your keys, and I’m happy to follow any security routines or send photos so you feel comfortable. My goal is simple: peace of mind for you, and a safe, happy experience for your pet.

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Penny was absolutely wonderful with my 8-year-old golden retriever, Stella! From the very beginning she was quick to respond, clear in her communication, and completely reliable. She provided timely updates along with lots of photos, which gave me peace of mind knowing Stella was in great hands. Penny gave Stella excellent care, and I couldn’t be happier. I will definitely use Penny again and again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Princess was super awesome. My little Lexi is a very shy dog to people upfront but for some reason Lexi went differently to Princess and greeted her. She took a lot of pictures and spent the full 30 minutes walking Lexi. She made me feel at ease and made sure Lexi was safe. I 100% recommend Princess.”

I have over 1/2 acre of fenced yard and I am home all day giving your babies my full attention. I will never leave them alone for more than 2 hours on any day. I started in a veterinary clinic many years ago but took some detours in my career. I have tried everything from business accounting to teaching middle and highschool math. Since all of my pets have passed over the rainbow bridge, I have decided to come back to my true passion... taking care of animals! I am also working towards a becoming a certified dog trainer. Your pet will not be lonely with me. I will play tug or fetch with your dogs. I am happy to use a crate or cuddle with your fur baby on the couch for nap time. I will be happy to brush your cats and spoil them with catnip and chin scratches. I will keep their rountine to make them comfortable and give them plenty of engaging activities to keep their mind sharp.

About: Born and raised in Northern VA. I have been, and continue to be, an animal lover for my entire life. I have been in veterinary medicine for almost 20 years. I went to the University of Rhode Island to get my B.S. is Animal Science with a focus in Veterinary Medicine. I am perfectly comfortable taking care of healthy and sick dogs, so please don’t be shy if your pet is taking medications or getting treatments of any sort because I can most definitely help with that! My knowledge doesn’t just apply to dogs either. I can take care of exotics, pocket pets, farm animals, birds, cats, and your plants! Humans create fascinating bonds with different animals and I hope to create lasting friendships with yours. I am currently a mixed vegetable farmer growing for the community in Boring OR. We are relatively new to this area and I am looking to establish a network here. I care for all the pets the same as my own, with respect. There is not much more to it except needing to complete the minimum wording for this box :)

I’m a full time dog sitter and walker! So your pet is my top priority I’m a full time animal sitter!! I have all the time in the world to take care of your fur babies! They are very friendly with other dogs. I don’t have kids or cats in my apartment either
“We had always boarded our dogs in a kennel before so this was our first time leaving them in the house for a quick weekend trip with drop in visits and walks. We came home to happy, well taken care of dogs. Tori did a great job taking care of our cat and now we’ll use her as our go-to sitter for our dogs.”

“Anika was amazing! I really appreciate how they were so responsive and were able to accommodate my last minute request. I highly recommend Anika for all your pet sitting/walking needs!”

About: I have over 9 years of experience in veterinary nursing with 8 years in emergency settings, I am very comfortable with all areas of pet care and any special needs or medications your pets may have. I would love to meet your fur babies and make them as happy as possible while you’re away! I am available on Friday and Sundays for walks and drop in visits, evening visits on Monday or Tuesday could be discussed. I am always happy to discuss my schedule more in depth in person to make sure you would be comfortable with the amount of time I can provide to your pet! I care for every pet as if they are my own. No one understands better the stress and fear of leaving your pet with someone you don’t know, I will do everything to make you as comfortable as possible with being away from them. Im also happy to send pictures and updates throughout the day!

About: Growing up, my family always had dogs, so I’m pretty comfortable around them and looking after them, too. I officially became a dog mom in 2019 after graduating from college when I adopted an elderly Chihuahua named Lucy. She passed away two years ago, but caring for her gave me experience with senior dogs and administering daily arthritis medication. I now have my girl Peaches. She will be turning 3 in August and is puggle who keeps me on a consistent walking schedule! Through caring for my own dogs and pet sitting for friends and family, I’ve gained experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I also regularly watch my brother’s 2-year-old Staffie mix who is the biggest baby and I love like my own fur baby. I love going on walks, hikes, and visiting farmers markets/local parks/coffe shops, so your pup will get plenty of love, attention, and activity while in my care. I also like to call myself a “master pill hider” because Peaches has definitely made me work for my skills when it comes to giving daily medications 😂 I look forward to meeting your fur baby and possibly you, too! I promise to send consistent photos and videos while they’re in my care, and I’ll always communicate if I notice anything concerning about their behavior. I’d rather ask questions than assume something is normal. Im currently a full-time graduate school and do have in-person classes on campus downtown, so if I’m house sitting your furbaby would have to be ok being alone while I’m away. For walks, I will always keep your dog leashed and be mindful of outside temperatures while we're out. For drop-ins, I’ll make sure they have plenty of fresh water, receive any requested meals or medications, and have supervised outdoor time. If I need to administer medication, I’ll make note of when it was given and observe them afterward to ensure they’re doing well before I leave. Their safety, comfort, and wellbeing are always my top priorities.

“When we came to pick up Dory the next day she ran out to say hi and was ready to follow Hayleigh back in the house when she went to grab her bed. So safe to say Dory had a blast!”

“WONDERFUL!! Our dog Ovi was so spoiled while we were away. We got multiple updates throughout the day and Shasta replied quickly to our messages. Ovi was very happy staying with Shasta! Highly recommend!!”

“Kristen has watched Watson several times, and he’s always so happy to stay with her (and he never wants to leave when it's time to pick him up)! We really appreciate the photo updates and knowing he’s so well cared for. Thanks, Kristen!”

“Our two pups are always excited as camp Oz has a lot of other pups to play with. They also have a great area where the dogs play. Been receiving regular updates whenever they’ve stayed. Also great for small dogs as they are allowed on furniture and get a lot of cuddles.”

“Jenny was wonderful with our two dogs! She took great care of them making sure they had lots of activity and love! They came home completely exhausted and very happy. Jenny was able to accommodate their needs with their specialty food and medication, and even reached out to ensure they were doing well the next day after I brought them home. I will definitely reach out to Jenny again in the future!”
