“Roy was amazing! Took care of the dogs well and sent multiple pictures. My dogs are usually anxious to meet new people but was able to get comfortable with him very quickly, will book again :)”

“Tanisha was fantastic with my dog Morty. My dog is reactive and nervous around new dogs, and she was willing to do whatever it takes to make sure he would feel comfortable with her and her dog. We did a meet and greet, followed by a test overnight board and test daycare. It was incredible to see how well my dog settled in with her. You can tell she cares a lot about the dogs she watches. I got a lot of pictures and videos of my dog while he was with Tanisha (more than I've ever gotten from a sitter). I highly recommend Tanisha!”

About: I'm a lifelong dog lover and outdoor enthusiast, so I can't think of a better way to spend my time than going on walks with furry friends. I've had the honor to share 18 years of my life with three of the goodest boys and girls: Sammy (RIP my beautiful boy!) Tootsie, and Indi. Each of them has added so much richness to my life, and have taught me patience, discipline, and unconditional love. I've fostered dogs from the Front Street Animal Shelter, caring for them like my own while making sure they went to good homes. I once did one month of house/pet sitting for a couple who had 7 dogs (2 big labs and 5 small ones), 3 of which needed medicine twice/day, so I'm not easily intimidated -- although at this stage in my life I think I'll stick to only 1 or 2 dogs at a time. Although I love dogs of all sizes, I'm most comfortable with small to medium-sized, up to 50 lbs. I'm willing to make exceptions for senior or super chill dogs who want to take it easy and don't pull on their leash while walking. I want it to be nice for both of us! I'm home most days, so I'm pretty flexible with timing of walks and drop-ins. What's best for your dog is what's good for me. I take evening classes Tuesday through Thursday, so I have to finish my last walk by 6pm on those days. If staying with me, I do have to make sure our dogs get along first. I have a kennel if needed, but would prefer for them all to hang out together. If I do need to go out, I'm happy to separate yours and mine if that would make you and them most comfortable. I have a fenced yard and Tootsie and Indi to keep your dog company. Tootsie is a 9lb Miniature Pincher/Italian Greyhound mix, and Indi is a 48 lb Border Collie mix, but don't let her fool you: Indi moves slower than molasses and loves nothing more than lay on her bed all day. Both of my ladies are extremely easy-going. If not staying with me, I'm happy to come to your home for visits whenever a your pooch requires it, whether they need walking, a little ball-tossing, or a good cuddle.
“I found Marcie on Rover and she responded quickly on such short notice. I contacted her on a Friday and she was able to accommodate our pit bull Jada the next day. Marcie was courteous enough to provide photos of Jada while at the dog park. Jada looked like she enjoyed her time with Marcie. We look forward to using Marcie again in the future.”

“Thank you Jackie for taking care of our little tee cup chihuahua for the day!! From start to finish the booking was easy and we felt our dog was in great hands. Jackie sent us pictures through out the day, was professional and very easy to communicate with. Would definitely use her again if ever in the area. Thank you!!”
“Great Doggy Daycare! Annie took wonderful care of my dog, Shiloh, during daycare. She was kind, professional, and kept great communication. Shiloh came home happy and relaxed, which tells me everything I need to know! I highly recommend Annie. Randy & Shiloh 🐾”

I’m open to any type of dog no matter the needs! I'm working at home so I’m pretty open. we can work something out because I’m very flexible. also if you want i can watch your dog over night. my labor doodle loves to play and wrestle so she can be annoying sometimes but she will get along just fine with other dogs that is not so much people because shes afraid of them.
“Maple had such a good time at Tessa’s! Tessa was communicative and flexible, which we really appreciated. She took good care of Maple and sent us lots of pictures! We highly recommend Tessa and look forward to booking with her again!”

About: I've had pets my whole life, almost always multiple dogs, a cat, critters and reptiles of too many kinds to list out. I've been a dog and cat sitter for friends for decades now. My wife and I are not currently in a position to get another pet but this opens up a way to love some more animals while not over committing. I'm currently in between jobs so have extra time and flexibility, open to working within your needs. My wife also works from home full time, allowing for added attention and assistance when needed. We have a small fenced in backyard, but enjoy walks to sutters fort to let our dog Jarvis roll around in the grass, also have a law firm's parking lot across the alley that we can easily play fetch in at night. We allow pets on the couch but also have beds and a cat activity wall with plenty of spots to chill.
“Happy I found Martha to take care of Niko. She responds in a timely manner & very flexible with my last minute requests. She ask all the important questions to assure she provides the best care for your fur-child. My shy Niko and her sweet pup Misty got along really well hanging out for the first time. Niko enjoyed his stay with Martha & her family!”

About: I have loved and cared for dogs for many years, but my real training started with my own dog Haku. He has taught me patience, routine, and how to understand different dog personalities. I am used to daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable. Haku is friendly with children, other dogs, and cats, so I understand the importance of proper introductions and calm environments. Every dog has their own personality, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each one unique. I work from home, so I get to spend most of my day around dogs. I’m available for boarding on weekends and flexible during weekdays. Your pup will have company, regular walks, and a steady routine instead of being left alone all day. Dogs can sense calm energy, and I bring that into my home. I keep things structured but relaxed. I respect each dog’s personality and never force interactions. Haku runs quality control and makes sure every guest feels welcome.
“Kylie was the first person we chose to watch our puppy, Birdie, off rover and we are so happy with our decision. She's so sweet and updated us throughout the night on our pup which made us feel more at ease. We will hands down be contacting her again for future stays.”

About: I love animals which includes pets! I come from a home that has two of the sweetest pitbulls. Moving out I of course got a cat, and she does well with dogs! I also watch my family member’s dogs at my home and they do excellent with her. Each pet is unique in their quirks and what makes this gig especially fun in figuring out what is it. Hire me to give your pet the care they deserve. I currently only work a part time job for 2 days out the week from 11-4pm. However my partner works full time at home and is my helper in this! We have the same values about pets and will ensure amazing care. Big living room area with tons of space to be in and rooms. Closed doors for alone time but most importantly front door with access to street closed off.
About: Hi! My name is chynna (China), I know life can be expensive and I know my rates are higher. I come from a loving family who has always had a soft spot for dogs in our lives. There isn't a day I can't remember not having a pup. I reallly hope that I can look after your pup for you! I can guarantee you that your puppy is in great hands! I currently work part time and have more then enough time to watch and love on your animals. I have been doing so for the past 10 years and would love to help your loved one feel cozy when you are away! I have a fenced in patio, a close by dog park, and huge water bowls. If you would like your dog crated please provide a crate!

Kylie is everything you hope for in a pet sitter. She met with us beforehand, which immediately put me at ease, and the moment she and Baklava met it was clear she was the right person for the job!! He warmed up to her almost instantly, which honestly says a lot about her because he can be a picky judge of character. She took the time to really understand his quirks (and he has plenty), and I never once felt anxious leaving him in her care. She also took great care of the house, which is always appreciated! We’ll be booking Kylie again without a second thought, she’s earned our complete trust and we’re so lucky to have found her. 10000% would recommend!

We did a trial daycare visit to prepare for a longer stay in a month. Everything went so well! Great communication and several updates were sent throughout the day of them playing and resting! I feel much more comfortable leaving them at a new place for their longer stay after this visit. Thanks Achara for your care with the pups and I can already tell they are looking forward to going back!

Tanisha was fantastic with my dog Morty. I highly recommend Tanisha!

Caroline was very communicative and took great care of our dog, Millie. Millie takes a while to warm up to people and Caroline was happy to interact with Millie on her terms. She sent pictures and updates throughout the day which really eased our minds! I would book a service with Caroline again.

Patty was amazing and so flexible! We're from out of town and wanted to float the American River and couldn't bring Pretzel with us, so we decided to book Rover for him. She sent us pictures and was very communicative which we really appreciated! We'll definitely be booking with Patty again if we are in town :)

Kristen was amazing!! She took my last minute request for day care and took very good care of my dog Mochi. She was very nice and responsive, thoughtful of the way she introduced mochi to her dogs, and even proactively sent me tons of cute photos of Mochi. Would recommend !!
