“We’ve only been working with Rachael for a short period of time but right away it seems to be a perfect fit for our Lucy girl! Rachael is on time, treats our Lucy girl so well and communicates us extremely well and timely. It gives us great peace of mind knowing she is caring for Lucy during the week.”

“Jessie was very nice, she was prompt, professional, walked the whole 30min walk, and handled both of my dogs very well. They came back from their walk exhausted and I'm sure if they could talk they would say she's great too(:”

About: Throughout my life i’ve grown up with dogs and later in life with cats. I have also worked at boarding places here and there and currently work as a veterinary assistant at a clinic. That being said I am available currently all weekends and mondays as well to walk your pups! Making sure everything is safe first and then clean. I will mainly be doing walking services so any poop or mess will be cleaned up on the walk and same for inside if need be! I will always greet your dog in a safe way to ensure safety on both ends and trust.
“Bri is a great dog walker! Highly recommended. She was very attentive to our dog (cockapoo), provided frequent updates for walks / feeding, and she is very punctual. We really appreciate how sweet she was with our dog. We look forward to booking Bri again.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, and fish for over 25 years and have experience with pets of all ages, breeds, and personalities. I grew up with Siberian Huskies and have spent my life around animals, both as a pet owner and caregiver. I provide attentive, dependable care tailored to each pet’s routine and needs! My experience includes walks, feeding, administering oral medications, playtime, companionship, photo updates, and monitoring pets for any changes in behavior or well-being while you’re away. In addition to pet care, I have experience maintaining freshwater aquariums, including water quality monitoring and tank care, as well as basic indoor plant care. My goal is to make sure both you and your pets feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away! I have a flexible part-time work schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I enjoy staying active through walks and spending time with animals, so pet sitting and dog walking are a rewarding part of my routine. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine and individual needs, from feeding schedules and walks to medications and favorite activities. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience while keeping owners updated with messages and cute photos! I make sure to treat every client’s home with respect and care.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals my whole life. I currently have a cat named nacho! I have cared for several of my friends pets while they were away. My kids are older now and I now have spare time to come love and care for more pets. I currently work full time but I am off on on Fridays. So if need for a weekend or even a drop in night time visit. I come to your home and feed, water, and scoop litter box. If they allow me to play, pet, and snuggle I will make them feel as if you have never left.
About: I grew up surrounded by farms and stray cats having babies on my porch that we would often take in. Most of the time my childhood home was full of 2 border collie dogs and 4-6 adopted cats. I have had my own cat for 3 years who I rescued (he has one eye and is the Cutest boy) and all my siblings have dogs and cats that I’m constantly loving like human nieces and nephews. Friends and neighbors have always regarded me as an animal lover and someone who is good with animals. I seem to attract them wherever I go! I am a professor so my schedule is flexible. All week days and weekends work for me. During the weekdays I am most available in the mornings and evenings. I am very respectful of everyone’s homes and their rules. I am good with details and feel comfortable following directions and wishes of any client.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life so I’m very familiar with the care and attention they need everyday. I’ve been professionally dog sitting for two years now and have experience with both younger and older dogs. I like to think that I’m giving your dog a little vacation of their own while you’re away, and will do my very best to help them feel cared for and secure during that time. I work from home so I have a pretty flexible schedule during the week! I’m happy to walk/tend to your dog during the week for short periods of time. I have more time on the weekends to dog sit as needed! I’ll care for your dog(s) like I would my own while looking after them. I’m very tentative and look/listen for their signals to know if they need to go out or just want some attention. I always make sure if there’s been a mess to clean it right away and cover/block off the area for a bit so your pet won’t try to lick up any chemicals. I also make sure that their collar/leash is on securely before taking them out for a walk to prevent any incidents from occurring.
About: Within the last few years I dog sat for my aunt and my neighbor, but a year ago I’ve gotten more serious with it as I do it as a side hustle now. I have experience pet sitting dogs cats rats and even rabbits. I am going into my senior year at West Chester but will be commuting from my home in Phoenixville. I will also have a part time job but I can work around everything to watch your animals, especially this summer if I have enough notice I take off of work so the pets have my full attention. I currently am only offering care at the clients home but I will make sure to keep yours clean as I like my environment to feel safe and organized.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
