“Natalie was amazing with my dog!! I felt so at ease knowing she was there to walk Lily. She brought water on long walks and took plenty of pictures and my dog seemed so happy!”

“We’ve only been working with Rachael for a short period of time but right away it seems to be a perfect fit for our Lucy girl! Rachael is on time, treats our Lucy girl so well and communicates us extremely well and timely. It gives us great peace of mind knowing she is caring for Lucy during the week.”

“Rosie took my dog for a walk for the first time recently. My dog is extremely wary of new people, but Rosie managed to win her favor. She sent me lots of status updates and a video of my dog playing with her VERY happily, which is always a great sign. I'm sure we'll be using Rosie again in the future!”

I'm trained in basic pet first aid, respectful of your home, and known for being prompt, tidy, and trustworthy. My partner and I have 3 pets of our own: Canon (4 yo tripod, boxer mix) Winnie (5 yo King Charles Cavalier), and Roo (2 yo King Charles Cavalier). I have personal experience with senior/disabled pets as well as high-energy pets. I will care for your pets as much as I care for my own❤️ I am available to help with your pet’s needs all days of the week! I know how much pets thrive on consistency and love. Whether it’s morning walks, mealtime rituals, or evening cuddles, I’m capable of sticking to your pets routine while you’re away. “Julia helped us out at very short notice and took our two dogs out for a walk whilst we were away for the day. She followed our instructions and we found them happy and safe upon our return”

About: Hi! I have been caring for dogs and cats for my friends, family, and neighbors for 15+ years including walking, feeding, playtime, overnight stays, dog park visits, belly rubs & cuddle time, etc. I signed up for Rover in February 2024 to meet other pet owners in the area who are looking for excellent pet care and it has been an awesome experience so far! When taking care of someone's pet, I treat them like my own fur baby with lots of love and attention. I also send photos and updates to provide comfort and peace of mind as I know how hard it is to be away from your pets. Knowing they are happy and well taken care of can help ease the owner's stress of being away from home. Also, I have a 6-year-old Cavapoo who loves to hang out, play, and nap with other pets! I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible. I also have an indoor camera so I can check in on pets in my home at any time if I run to a meeting or an errand. My schedule is flexible (days, afternoons, nights, and weekends). I can visit your home once or multiple times in the same day, or I can care for your pet in my home. I live in a private townhome community where many residents walk their dogs. We are a very dog-friendly neighborhood! I am also a few steps away from the Schuylkill River Trail.
“My dog Loki had a fantastic time going for walks and romps in the fields with Lauren. He's a high energy puppy and I enjoyed seeing his daily updates Lauren provided, that gave me peace of mind while I was away. Definitely will use her services again. Thanks a ton Lauren.”

About: Throughout my life i’ve grown up with dogs and later in life with cats. I have also worked at boarding places here and there and currently work as a veterinary assistant at a clinic. Currently I am working full time at the clinic T-F 8-6. I will sometimes work a Saturday job seasonly but that won’t start until around spring. That being said I am available currently all weekends and mondays as well to walk your pups! Making sure everything is safe first and then clean. I will mainly be doing walking services so any poop or mess will be cleaned up on the walk and same for inside if need be! I will always greet your dog in a safe way to ensure safety on both ends and trust.
“Melissa helped us out on short notice and was amazing! She was on time and cared for Lady like she was her own. I would highly recommend her and will be using her again in the future.”

About: Friends, family, and neighbors trust me with their pets because of my exceptional communication skills. My superpower in the pet sitting world is providing frequent updates and photos that allow owners to feel completely at ease while they’re away. Alongside my energy and ability to comfort animals, I ensure that both pets and their owners are well cared for and connected during their time apart. Being self-employed in my primary career gives me the flexibility to fully dedicate myself to pet sitting as a cherished side hustle. This freedom allows me to offer personalized and attentive care on my own schedule, ensuring that your pets receive the best attention and love while you're away. My unique ability to balance both roles means you can trust that your furry friends are in capable and caring hands. When visiting pets at their own home, I focus on maintaining their regular routine and providing comfort in a familiar setting. My services include: -Daily Care Routine: I follow the established schedule for feeding, walking, and playtime, ensuring pets experience minimal disruption to their daily lives. -Comfort and Security: I make sure pets feel safe and secure by adhering to their usual routines and providing a calming presence while their owners are away. -Frequent Updates: I offer regular updates and photos to keep owners informed about their pets' well-being and activities, giving them peace of mind while they’re away. -Household Care: In addition to pet care, I can handle minor household tasks such as bringing in mail, watering plants, and ensuring the home remains secure.
“Bona was wonderful and helped us in a pinch. She was great on the walk and very communicative. She was able to manage Elmer, a very high energy trash eating dog. Very greatful and highly recommend!”

About: Looking for a cozy, home-like environment for your dog, whether it’s for the day or an extended stay? Look no further! I’ve been a lifelong pet lover, having cared for both dogs and cats. I’m also a proud volunteer with Home at Last Dog Rescue. My dachshund-beagle mix, Dixie, joined our family in 2020, and my beagle, Emily, was my very first foster fail! Our dogs love camping and exploring the great outdoors with us. Your dog will feel right at home in my fenced yard, a safe and fun space for running and playing. My senior pups will love having the extra company! I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend! My home is perfect for extended stays! I’ll keep your pet on a consistent schedule to maintain their familiar routine. While I work in the office three days a week, your pet will be safe and comfortable, either relaxing in a crate or spending time with my dogs in a designated area of the house. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs who will enjoy keeping your dog company. If you’re comfortable with crate training, your dog can use a crate for quiet time when needed. On the days I work from home, my dogs stay with me in the same room, and I make sure they get plenty of exercise with daily walks or zooming around the backyard. I also have a cat who tends to keep a low profile around new furry friends. However, if your dog enjoys chasing cats, my home may not be the best fit.
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals my whole life. I currently have a cat named nacho! I have cared for several of my friends pets while they were away. My kids are older now and I now have spare time to come love and care for more pets. I currently work full time but I am off on on Fridays. So if need for a weekend or even a drop in night time visit. I come to your home and feed, water, and scoop litter box. If they allow me to play, pet, and snuggle I will make them feel as if you have never left.

About: I have been caring for my grandparents dogs while they go on vacation ever since I was 10, always making sure they were walked, fed, and kept in clean conditions. Caring for animals is never about just getting the job done for me, I genuinely love animals of all kind and enjoy interacting with them and getting to know each pets personality. In the absence of pets of my own, I have even taken to befriending crows, squirrels, chipmunks, and more in my backyard so that I still get to engage with animals daily. I currently only work part time on certain days, allowing me full freedom to care for your animals as often as needed to ensure they do not get lonely or bored while you are away! I always make sure the animals basic needs are met—food, water, and physical/mental stimulation—but also go above and beyond to make the animal feel loved and less anxious while their families are away.
About: I have taken care of a variety of dogs whether they need walks, baths, or lots of attention! I have taken care of my sister's three big dogs three summers in a row, walking all at once if necessary. I am a graduate student working part-time, I am available all day Monday and Wednesday, and available every other weekend! I can be flexible to your schedule. I am an avid walker and will walk any distance your pet would like. I will respect your space and follow any directions you provide when caring for your pet.

“I just starting a new job and was not going to be able to come home at lunch to walk my pups myself, Rover made it super fast in helping me locate Julain. Within hours after requesting service he was at my apartment walking Bella and Tanner. Couldn’t have been anymore painless!! Thank You!!”

Tim has been absolutely amazing with my German Shorthaired Pointer. As a high-energy breed, she requires a lot of exercise and attention, and Tim consistently goes above and beyond to make sure she gets both. He takes her on long walks, keeps her engaged, and genuinely cares for her like she’s his own. She’s always excited to see him and comes home happy, well-exercised, and well cared for. Tim is reliable, trustworthy, and great at communicating, giving me complete peace of mind whenever she’s with him. I highly recommend Tim to anyone looking for exceptional care for their dog. 10/10 !

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
