When we went for our meet and greet we didn’t want to leave. Their fenced in yard and the welcoming kind vibe made Soda and me (her human) feel instantly comfortable and at ease. Benjamin sent photos and videos of her girl having the time of her life while we were away almost 2 weeks. And he managed to get her in the car to go back and forth which is no small task since Soda is terrified of the car. About: We are a husband and wife who would love to care for your fur babies! We recently had to put down our senior husky, which leaves our 7 year old lab by herself. We would love to watch your pets in our home to give her a playmate, or we can come to you! We have a large yard on a quiet street and a toddler who loves all dogs! Ever since she learned how to wave, she has waved at every dog she has ever seen. We are available for drop in visits as well. We are currently available on a full-time basis to board in our home. We can do drop in visits as scheduled! My husband and I work together to make sure your pets are taken care of. We are happy to do whatever it takes to make your pet comfortable. We can accommodate any feeding needs, walking needs, crate or no crate is okay with us! Pets are allowed on the furniture in our home as well.

“Houston is a very particular, somewhat fearful and needy little angel whom Alessandra was able to provide just the right environment for. After each visit, he came home happy, healthy and tired! When I dropped him off at the bigger daycare centers in the area, he would be shaking before we even walked in the door. He cried when I left him and he was so stressed and overwhelmed when I picked him up, he would take long trauma naps through dinner and breakfast the next day. In Alessandra's home, he is able to roam and lay wherever, whenever; he gets plenty of walks and enjoys her backyard. More importantly (for him), he has a limited number of playmates, so he can avoid the burnout and feeling of being overwhelmed and there is plenty of space to take a break as needed. This intimate environment seems to do much better for him and we are very appreciative of the love Alessandra shows Houston. We get lots of photos and updates every day. I find Alessandra to be very flexible, communicative and easy to talk to. We won't be looking elsewhere unless she is fully booked!”

About: I grew up with dogs. When I was 18 I co-adopted two pitbulls who lived out their lives with me. After college, I volunteered for Monster Milers taking shelter dogs from Street Tails Animal Rescue out for runs to help them burn energy and become more adoptable. My wife and I have adopted three times. A fawn pug who lived until 9 years old, a black pug who lived until 17 years old, and a Alaskan Malamute/Husky/Amstaff mix (107lbs) that lived until he was 13 and we recently lost. I'm good with all furry friends big and small and adjust my approach based on the dogs energy. I currently have a ton of flexibility outside of my kids to help with your pups, but generally, I'm home a lot and very active so lots of room to get your pup out for long walks and exercise/stimulation. I do not have a fenced in yard, and always keep my dogs on leashes until they were absolutely ready to listen solely to my commands. I use a gentle leader that helps minimize impact on their throat and also is very effective with pulling, but can be flexible to your sitch.

I’m currently a senior at William and Mary. I am available all day Friday through Sunday and any time past 2:00 pm Monday through Thursday. “Brandi and Mike were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Sokka! He stayed with them for five days, and I couldn’t have asked for better hosts. They treated him like he was their own dog and went above and beyond to make sure he was happy and comfortable. I received multiple updates and pictures every day, which gave me so much peace of mind. They even took Sokka on long walks to Valley Forge Park and car rides, which he loved. Brandi and Mike are incredibly kind, thoughtful, and trustworthy—I felt completely comfortable having Sokka in their care. I will definitely be asking them to sit for Sokka again in the future. I can't recommend Brandi and Mike enough!”
“Five stars is not enough for Benjamin! He, and his beautiful family (of humans and dogs) went over and above to take care of our golden retriever, Soda. When we went for our meet and greet we didn’t want to leave. Their fenced in yard and the welcoming kind vibe made Soda and me (her human) feel instantly comfortable and at ease. Benjamin sent photos and videos of her girl having the time of her life while we were away almost 2 weeks. And he managed to get her in the car to go back and forth which is no small task since Soda is terrified of the car. All of this incredible kindness and professionalism took place under extraordinary circumstances since their family was going through major things at the time. We are so grateful to have found him and will definitely be grateful to be able to work with them again. I am always nervous to leave our precious girl, so rest assured, you will be in tbe best of hands if you choose Benjamin.”

“Dolly and her three boys took exceptional care of Parker. She has three boys and a large fencing backyard that allowed him to play amd explore in a safe environment. When we arrived, parker was immediately snatched up by her by one of her two younger sons who promptly began playing with him, pampering him and loving him. Dolly said her sons even “argued” over whose bed he would sleep in. Parker came back a happy camper and made three great buddies along the way. Additionally, Dolly kept constant contact with me and sent pictures over the course of the two days. I would highly recommend this wonderful family to look after your pet whenever you need someone to watch them.”

“I was so thankful to Allison and her daughters for taking such good care of my senior dog . My dog starts to become agitated the moment I leave him . I was so worried but I received a text and picture about an hour and a half later showing my dog relaxed and cuddling with one of her little girls❤️I received regular updates and pictures. My worries about leaving him were quickly put to rest . Allison and the girls treated him like their own. I am forever grateful. I cannot recommend Allison enough. 10 stars !!”
