“Natalie did everything that was asked of her and went over and above to take extra care of our very shy and fearful of strangers cat. I would highly recommend Natalie for any pet care services for anyone who may be interested in that.”

“Loved Kayleigh! She was great with our cats, and we will definitely book with her again if we go on another trip. She took the time to get to know them and pick up the key before we left, and she stayed longer on her first day to help them feel more comfortable with her. They got more and more friendly each day! She is very nice and professional, and I would recommend her to anyone.”

“Skylar did a fantastic job taking care of my two cats while I was away for 2 weeks on business. My cats warmed up to her quickly. The care was complicated by some medical issues with my cats, and the fact that I had just recently moved to a new place, but she handled everything fantastically and kept the cats happy and healthy”

“Mackenzie was an amazing pet sitter! She was always timely, friendly, and professional, which gave me so much peace of mind. I especially appreciated how she was able to get my shy cat to take her meds which is no small feat! On top of that, her photography skills were such a bonus; I loved getting thoughtful, high-quality updates. I’m so grateful for her care and would absolutely recommend her!”

“Sofia did a great job for a whole week with our dog and cat. She came to our house and took care of them 3x a day for a reasonable price and followed all the instructions we gave her perfectly. Highly recommended!”

“Jordyyn was amazing with our 6 cats. She made sure they all got their meds, were feed twice a day and she even bonded with and brushed one of our fur babies! Our cats aren't the friendliest, but she managed to pet them and make them feel comfortable around her. Jordyyn is punctual, friendly and detail oriented and I would use her again in a second to take care of my pets!”

“Grace was a reliable and great cat sitter! She was flexible with some last minute plans and accommodating with my schedule. She took good care of my cat while I was away. I would recommend her!”
“Lauren was amazing with my cat Hugo and enjoyed daily care and cuddles with her. Having Lauren Check-in was a comforting and she sent photos to us daily. Thanks again for your help and time with Hugo.”

“Katelyn was fantastic. My kitties usually don't do well with strangers but she made them feel comfortable and they took to her very quickly. She took very good care of my babies while I was away. I will definitely use her whenever I need my cats taken care of. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life. I’ve had dogs and cats growing up and now own a dog myself. I have many years of experience taking care of animals. Pet care is apart of my everyday life. I have my own dog so she fits into my schedule before and after work and on the weekends! When caring for pets during drop in visits, I do my best to follow their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable, safe, and secure while you’re not there. I make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of attention, and the care they need during each visit. For dogs, I offer walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of affection. For cats, I provide feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and a little playtime. I am also comfortable administering medications. I love keeping pet parents updated, so I provide photos and messages after visits so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are happy and well cared for. My goal is to treat every pet as if they were my own and provide reliable, loving care whenever you can’t be there.
“Ally watched our two dogs for us with drop in visits. She is always on time, very professional, asks for and listens about your dog's needs and routines and follows them. She provides great communication and pictures and obviously cares for animals. We would definitely recommend her to anyone.”

“Rachael sent me messages and pictures which provided updates on how things were at home. Seems to be very experienced and knowledgeable about cat sitting and care. Overall all a good sitter.”

“Christine was a total vacation saver! We had no family avalable to watch our cats, because most of them were coming on the vacation with us! It was such a relief to meet Christine and know that our two cats, Betty and Shadow, were in exceptionally good hands. Both of them were so happy to see us when we got back! The photos we received each day showed exceedingly happy cats, that very quickly warmed up to Christine! The only hiccup was with the alarm system, but that’s on us. We provided a disarm code, but we could have demonstrated how to disarm and re-arm the system during our meet and greet. We would absolutely rebook with Christine!”

“Dan had been a godsend. He has come consistently since august. This has put my mind at ease during the day knowing Rosie is well cared for. He is timely and always provides great updates and photos from what went on during the visit. He also goes above and beyond in my book to help me reinforce commands and tricks that my puppy is learning. Rosie is happy getting in her crate knowing she will see Dan mid day. She is also happy in her crate when I come home knowing that we picked the best person to take care of her during the day. I cant recommend Dan enough (just don't take my time slot if you choose to hire him, which you absolutely should).”

“Valerie cared for our two larger dogs while we were on vacation. She is terrific and I would recommend her to anyone. She really cares about maintaining the pets routine and making them happy. She follows any instructions you provide, shows up on time and is highly communicative. Our dogs are high energy and need structure which she easily handled. She put our minds at ease with her professionalism and love of animals.”

“Lindsay was phenomenal. Super friendly and down-to-earth and was happy to help me out with a few home items like watering the plants and constantly rescuing my silly robo-vacuum. She leaves the funniest messages on the Rover cards and took amazing candid photos of my two cats. Both of my cats have asthma, and she stepped up to the challenge of administering the inhaler. Would 10/10 recommend booking with Lindsay!”

About: Hello! I am a 25 year old animal caretaker! I have experience working with many breeds of dogs and cats. I specialize in high energy dogs! My family and I have been fostering for a non profit organization since 2015. With fosters the ages of 6 weeks to 14 years old. I have always been an animal lover. For fun my mom and I would go to our local animal shelters to hangout with the beautiful souls! I previously worked for an animal hospital as a kennel attendant I had the best time caring and playing with each visitor we had. I have experience offering check in visits and walking dogs in any weather (snow, rain, cold, hot). Thank you for your time and I hope to have the opportunity to get to know you and your fur babies! I’m available for walks Monday- Friday! I currently have a flexible schedule, we can discuss specific times that work best for the both of us. Even if you have a fenced in yard I will be outside keeping an eye on your pet. If you do not have a fenced in yard I can take your dog on walks to give them time to use the bathroom. If your pet needs to be crated I will be sure to give them a treat or a toy to have with them.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Oaks. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
