About: I grew up in a retirement community, walking dogs for friendly neighbors—it wasn’t just about the steps, it was about connection. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets of all shapes and personalities (yes, even the occasional rogue ferret). Now, our home buzzes with two lovable goofballs—a Dutch Shepherd and a Rottweiler mix—and I co-trained my wife’s service dogs, so I know firsthand the patience and dedication it takes. My approach? Simple respect. I don’t use force or fear—just calm communication, consistency, and a few strategic belly rubs. Every dog deserves to feel safe and understood; that’s a philosophy I bring to every walk, visit, or boarding stay. Life is unpredictable—work trips, busy schedules, or just needing an extra hand. I offer reliable, judgment-free care for every furry family member, no matter their size or quirks. Trust isn’t earned —it’s built, and I’d love to build that with you. My time is primarily spent taking care of my disabled wife and our son. My schedule revolves around my wifes medical appointments and needs. I'm very good at scheduling and meeting appointments so long as they aren't an immediate request. I have raised dogs from pups to our current senior dog. Staying on top of their health and well-being is important. Dogs have needs and deserve to be treated fair and with consideration.

About: I have experience with dogs of all ages and size. I also have pet sat for cats, fish, goats (I have experience milking and bottle feeding!) ponies, mini pigs, chickens and ducks. I am self employed so if notified in the morning I can accommodate easily same day. (Weather permitted. As heat plays a huge roll right now.) I take into account owner's and pet's needs when sitting or walking. Pets have their routines and I want them to feel as comfortable as possible while they're in my care.

About: Their fur babies will be treated just like they’re part of my fur family. I will follow any special requests that we work out. Plus I worked with a dog rescue so I have access to tons of information if I need to receive new knowledge on something. I live in Oakridge so I also have access to local hiking trails and have a decent knowledge of local water areas that are safe and wonderful for pups of all ages and sizes to enjoy. Their fur child will have plenty of one on one attention from me, they will not feel left out or unloved. I will keep you in the know if your fur baby is behaving ill. I’ll even take plenty of pictures of them enjoying their time and share them with you. I am currently on temporary disability due to surgery. I just had so I’m unavailable at this time but once I have been released to do light stuff around the home, I will be able to take on some clients again. If there’s any safety concerns, we can discuss what they are and what we can do to address them. We are currently trying to save up to get our fence redone to ensure that there are no issues with your baby getting loose.

About: I am an animal lover and always have been. I grew up with both dogs and cats and love both equally. My schedule is extremely flexible and I don’t mind commuting to take care of your fur baby! I have a lot of compassion for animals and take extra care to give them both physical and emotional attention. I love being outdoors and will make sure that your pup is getting plenty of exercise. I am currently a student with a flexible schedule during the week. I am available in the mornings, late afternoons, and evenings for any service you may need. Weekends and Holidays available as well. When caring for your pets while you are away I will first and foremost make sure that they feel comfortable with me. I have excellent attention to detail so I will be able to follow any care instructions including special accommodations for your fur baby. I love spending time with animals, they will be getting plenty of attention to distract them from missing you!

About: I love all animals large and small . Hobby and helping others is what I want to do !!my kids are animal lovers too. We would love and enjoy tking care if others pets and getting to know other animals. I have grown up around animals from a very small age in the country. I would like my kids to have the same experience with animals as I have had and much much more. We are a very active family and love to go for hikes, jogs, swimming sessions and other places to visit and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. We would love to see any size and shape for animals makes for a challenge to experience every day and relax in the moment to see how others live.

About: I love animals of all varieties and will be sure to take care of your furry/scaley/feathery buddy like they are my own. I try to be a cost effective sitter for those visiting the area. You can rest assured that your pet will be well taken care of while you check out what Oakridge and the surrounding area has to offer. I am home most days of the week and am available to watch pets in my home. I do have a couple of cats and small children so pets must be friendly. I have a 6' fenced yard, plus a fenced and gated driveway. I keep my own animals separate to prevent any chance of squabbles. Pets will be kept inside with me, dogs will be given frequent potty trips outside while on leash.

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life and love animals! I started house sitting dogs about 10 years ago in Oregon. Nova is a golden retriever and she is a pretty low key and very good with all dogs, cats and children. I have experience with both rescue dogs and anxiety ridden dogs. I love to be outdoors so your furry friend will get plenty of exercise at a place of your comfort! I am excited to care for your pet for you :) I currently work a part time job and have flexibility for most days and times of the week. I have a little girl that does most everything with me and understand if arrangements need to be made to accomodate your pet’s comfortability around children. Just let me know. :) I have a fully fenced yard and our sweet Nova (golden retriever) to keep your pet entertained and engaged. We have a pretty laid back style in the home with dogs allowed on couches and beds. They have an abundance of dog beds in a few rooms too if that is more your preference.

About: I've always been in a household that has had at least one dog growing up in California to my travels here to Oregon 9 years ago where I fell in love with the state and made a home here. I have had goldens and labs, and have taken care of a wide variety of sizes and shapes of pups, from the smallest pup to the sweet yet slobbery Mastiff. I currently have one dog who is my boyfriend's service dog, she is a 4 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever that is the calmest dog until you get her football out! Then the play never stops. Since she cannot go to work with him anymore, she would not mind a buddy to play with. We constantly take her for walks and runs and swims. Very dog friendly house I have afternoons open and available and almost every weekend! I love getting out and walking dogs around the neighborhood or taking them to a park I have a fenced in yard for Cammie or any dog to run around, go outside to take care of their needs, or chase a bird or squirrel! The high school field is right down the block that we can go to any time

About: I’ve had dogs in my home my entire life! I’m a huge dog person and love to help out family and friends with their fur babies! I work in the restaurant service industry leaving myself with free time during the early parts of the day during the typical work week. My shifts are typically 6 hours maximum. I understand the importance of a happy pup, and will give your dogs the activity they need to stay happy and to get tuckered out. I’ve been housesitting for many years and am sure to be responsible in all areas!

About: I've had cats and dogs most of my life. I frequently watch my sister's 3 small dogs as well as my friends larger Pitbull mix. But have house sat and pet watched for dozens of other friends through the years. I had the great pleasure of volunteering at Elephant Nature Park elephant rescue in Chiang Mai Thailand for a week earlier this year. I paid for the privilege of scooping poo, preparing food and other duties 😊 It was one of my life's great pleasures. I drive for Uber and Lyft so my schedule can be very flexible depending on your needs. Contact me and I'm sure we can work something out. Unfortunately my home is not suitable to care for pets as we already have 4 dogs and 4 humans. But I'm available for all services at your place.

About: I have taken care of pets, cats and dogs for over 25 years with utter joy. I lost my most sweetest dog last year to old age and I’m ready to get my dog fix and walk with them again. I have had 6 dogs in my life and 7 cats. I have lived in Bend for 25+ years and know most of the good trails to take dogs walking on. I like to take 15-60 min walks in nature or in town or neighborhoods with your pup I’m able to walk two dogs at a time. My last dog Maple was an Aussie very athletic and super friendly and lived for 17 yrs, she had a long healthy and happy life. Life is good with a pet!! My schedule is open after 2pm M-Th Fri-Sun open schedule. Routine is great for pets as they rely on you for their needs. I work from home. I am open to sit your dogs at your place or mine. I have a fenced backyard to wander safely and to play catch with.

About: Hello, my name is Virginia, I go by Gin. I am a dog momma to a 5 year old Great Dane. She is pretty much my whole world. I volunteered at the Willamette Valley Humane Society for nearly 3 years walking dogs, reading to dogs, comforting, feeding and cleaning up after so many precious dogs. Volunteer work takes a toll emotionally as some of you might know. I love animals in general but I just have a very special place in my heart for dogs. I am available anytime for dog walks or drop in visits to feed and water. I also can provide some play time on site if you have a fenced yard. My dog is well behaved and knows most commands. She loves to snuggle and be close to her humans. I treat her very much like I would a human.

About: I have taken care of dogs of many breeds. Friends and neighbors have relied on me to feed and care for their dogs. I have experience with little dogs and big dogs. I also have experience caring for dogs that need medication due to health issues. I currently work full time in the medical field. I am looking to make side money to save for nursing school. All services include structure, communication, care and attention with your animal. Every dog can thrive when they have a solid understanding of what is expected of them. Some delicious snacks can be shared if approved by owner. I currently spend Monday and Thursday mornings helping a friend's business, but have the afternoons and evening available. All other days have lots of availability to help with your furry family members. Happy to discuss any special needs for food, medication and basic obdeience. I provide structure which helps them find understanding. As they understand, they gain trust and feel safe.
