Justine is amazing! She is very sweet, accommodating, and trustworthy. We were a little worried about finding someone who would be a good fit, since one of our cats is not very friendly, but she reassured us and put our minds at ease. It was so nice not to worry about the cats while we were out of town. We got great updates and adorable photos. We will definitely be rebooking with Justine.

About: As a pre-veterinary student, I provide more than just pet sitting—I bring knowledge, patience, and a genuine passion for animal care. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and other small animals through both personal ownership and animal care work. I'm comfortable caring for puppies, senior pets, and animals with special needs, including administering medications when needed. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I'll provide attentive, reliable care and regular updates so you can have peace of mind. I'm currently home for the summer, so I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Aside from occasional appointments and errands, I'm home throughout the day. Caring for animals is already a part of my daily routine, as I have pets of my own with established care schedules. Adding your pet into that routine allows me to provide consistent feeding, potty breaks, playtime, exercise, medication (if needed), and plenty of companionship. I always work to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, medical needs, and any household rules so I can provide care that's both safe and consistent. In my home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment and closely supervise interactions. I carefully introduce new situations at each pet's comfort level and never leave animals in unsafe situations. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both the home and the animals with the same respect and care I would expect for my own. I follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any specific care requests exactly as directed. I also provide regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. As a pre-veterinary student, I'm attentive to changes in an animal's behavior or health and won't hesitate to contact you—and, if necessary, seek veterinary care—if I have concerns.

Ashley was on time and very responsive to messages from me. She was excellent with my fearful reactive rescue dog and was able to give her pets within 7 minutes. I could not have been more grateful and happy with our conversation and am so grateful for her knowledge and recommendations for my dog. I would definitely rebook with her. Thank you Ashley!

About: Hello I’m Bianca! I am entering my senior year at U of O, barista at Dutch, and I want to love/care for your fur kids! I grew up with 3 corgis in my family, so I learned daily dog care early on with walks, feeding schedules, and playtime. Since then, I’ve taken care of family dogs and dogs belonging to close family friends, and I even dog sat for a breeder with more than 10 dogs at once, so I’m familiar with managing multiple dogs with different personalities, and busy households. I treat every pet like my own and can’t wait to be their new bestie 😋 I work part-time at Dutch Bros, so my schedule shifts week to week and I don’t have fixed days off. That said, I’m generally very flexible and can definitely work around my shifts to fit in walks and drop ins. Just send me your dates and I’ll let you know what works! 😊 Since I’ll mostly be taking care of pets at your home, I like to stick as close as possible to their normal routine, feeding times, walks, and whatever you’re used to doing. I’m careful about stuff like keeping doors and gates shut, giving meds if needed, and just making sure your pet feels comfortable the whole time. I love sending updates and photos so you’re not stressing while you’re away!

I did enjoy Randi services. Based on her observation, I will definitely check with the vets regarding Audi eating grass. Overall, she is good in taking care of our dog and not only that she kept the dog place clean.

About: I have a high drive working German Shepherds, and husky. I have always been full of energy and taking care of crackhead dogs give me a lot of patience, so puppies and active dogs are my favorite and specialty! And I've been bitten and scratched enough times, it almost tickles... Almost During hot months my dogs are given all attention in the evening/at night and during cold months my dogs are given all attention in the afternoon so there is a period of time where I can help take care of yours outside of pet care and work! I will make sure to follow strict instructions and be very attentive and watchful of your pup! My own dogs schedule consist of playing, walking, training, cuddling, feeding and potty every 4-6 hours! And I would love to treat your pet with the same amount of needs whenever you feel you can't! No dog left behind!

About: I will care for and love on your animals like they are my own. I follow their vibe, wanna play, we play, wanna walk, we walk, wanna cuddle, we cuddle ♡ easy peasy. I've been caring for others creatures for over a decade and have always enjoyed making new relationships with all of them & their owners. I am more than happy to exist in your home with your fur-babies , where they are most comfortable (: I will keep them company and clean up after them and myself. About: I’ve had animals my whole life and have cared for them through every stage of life. I raised both of my dogs from puppies. One lived to be 18, and the other was with me for 15 years. I also raised a cat from a kitten who lived to be 16 and adopted an adult cat who stayed with me well into her senior years. Caring for my own pets from their earliest days through their senior years gave me experience with everything from puppy and kitten care, to medications, mobility changes, and noticing the little things that can make a big difference in their comfort and quality of life. Friends and family have always counted on me to care for their pets while they’re away, so I’m comfortable with a wide variety of personalities, routines, and medical needs. I know every pet is different, and my goal is to help yours feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work full-time Monday through Friday (8-5), but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to offer several services throughout the week. Dog walks: My favorite service! Available most weekdays early before work, during lunch (for nearby clients), and after work. I’m also available for walks throughout most weekends. House sitting: I have the most flexibility on weekends, but I can also be available for house sitting during the week with advance notice. If you have reliable Wi-Fi and are comfortable with it, I’m able to work remotely from your home so your pet can enjoy extra company while staying in their normal routine. Drop-in visits: Available during weekday lunch breaks for nearby clients, as well as on weekends. If you’re unsure whether your schedule will work with mine, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to see if we can make it work! I believe pets are happiest in their own home, where they can keep their normal routine. I’ll follow your care instructions closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and anything else that helps your pet feel comfortable. I’ll care for your pet and your home with the same respect and attention I’d give my own.

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
