“Denise was great with my cockapoo! I left him with her while I was on an extended vacation. He was taken for walks daily, nurtured with love and fed well. His diet even improved under her care. Her place is located adjacent to Delta Ponds so she is fortunate to have some wildlife come by to visit outside her back slider door. Dexter was able to see a Squirell, Blue Jay and other birds. His walks to the ponds kept him engaged and happy. He was also socialized with other dogs that she sits. All in all he came back as a better dog and was very happy to spend time with her. He had no separation anxiety at all and was very content. I received daily photos of him and was updated about how he was doing regularly. I would recommend Denise to any one looking for a sitter. Her rates are great as well.”

About: I've been lucky to have dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, that is 50+ years of wagging tails. About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life and love animals! I started house sitting dogs about 10 years ago in Oregon. Nova is a golden retriever and she is a pretty low key and very good with all dogs, cats and children. I have experience with both rescue dogs and anxiety ridden dogs. I love to be outdoors so your furry friend will get plenty of exercise at a place of your comfort! I am excited to care for your pet for you :) I currently work a part time job and have flexibility for most days and times of the week. I have a little girl that does most everything with me and understand if arrangements need to be made to accomodate your pet’s comfortability around children. Just let me know. :) I have a fully fenced yard and our sweet Nova (golden retriever) to keep your pet entertained and engaged. We have a pretty laid back style in the home with dogs allowed on couches and beds. They have an abundance of dog beds in a few rooms too if that is more your preference.

I care for all living beings, but dogs are my go to when it comes to spending time and feeling at home in a world I choose. I've trained many breeds over the years and have heard various techniques. The older I've gotten the more formal the training I've received. All of which has been positive reinforcement training. I once went through a program that taught me how to train my own service animal. The techniques are very similar to the way I was during my early years when classes were not on my radar. My dog would simply go everywhere with me and learned how to behave in each setting without much effort at all. With the more formal training in recent years the fun part I find is desensitizing, shaping, training while playing, and having a great friend with me at all times. I do not claim to have had a ton of success reversing already spun habits. It's important to start pups young in many cases, though there are also many dogs that are easy going enough they can pick this up in no time. Whether you have a pet for the the home, all kinds, I will care for them as you do and I'll send you on your carefree way with full confidence. Boarding dogs at my house is limited to easy to manage temperaments and activity levels do to the fact our home is very small with hard wood and we have no fenced yard. My husband and I are both retired. I've recently lost my elder Irish Setter who spent most all his time with us. Now I have a Mini Poodle pup who's being trained to fill some pretty big shoes. So far it's smooth sailing! When going into others homes I simply follow their daily routines and instructions. My time is devoured to the animals. I rarely have things that would require me to shift focus. While at our house I make sure needs are met first, set the tone with rules of the house and have plenty of interactions with them through out the day. We take frequent walks and set up play time in the garage. I love the elders and yet can't pass up a puppy. I've not sat for cats in my home and would not feel comfortable doing so unless the owner knows something I don't know regarding their outings.

About: Safety is always my number one priority while pet sitting. I make sure pets are always supervised, secure, and cared for in a safe environment. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and owner guidelines to keep every pet healthy, comfortable, and protected at all times. Although I do work a part-time job, I try my best to fit pet sitting in my schedule because it’s what I love to do! Animals will always be well taken care of, I insure that your pets will be let out before I have to take off for work, making sure water is full and fresh. I will be back to love and care you’re pet in a timely manner! Although I do not offer boarding, I prefer watching animals in their owner’s home because I feel like it makes the animals more comfortable to be in a well-known environment. My biggest priority is making sure the owners have peace of mind while they are away and know that their animals are in a safe hands.
About: I’ve had dogs, cats, fish, lizards, guinea pigs, hamsters, a snake, and even a chinchilla throughout my life, so I’ve truly never known life without being surrounded by animals. I’m a huge animal lover, and caring for them has always come naturally to me, whether they’re my own or belong to family and friends. I’m flexible and able to plan my schedule around pet care needs, whether that’s daily visits, walks, or spending extended time with your pets. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to making sure your pets are well taken care of while you’re away. I currently live in an apartment and keep a clean, calm, and pet safe space. That being said, I’ll be moving into a townhome with more space at the end of August. No matter the space, I’m attentive, patient, and committed to creating a secure and loving environment for every pet I care for.
About: I got my first pet at 18, a kitten who was from a stray in the neighborhood. I still have that cat today she is 16 and a 1 year old rescued chihuahua mix. I’ve fostered over 30 dogs and a few kittens, volunteered at our local animal shelters and worked events trying to find pets loving homes. I love caring for animals and being a person animals trust. I am a self employed person so my schedule is very flexible, I take my own dog on daily walks and can fit things in easily. My animals are the center of my world and I am always wanting them to be safe, comfortable and loved. I will do the exact same for your babies within your household boundaries. About: I’ve had and taken care of animals from dogs to cats to reptiles to rodents my whole life. Whatever you’ve got I’ll be happy to put your mind at ease and provide the proper care your animal needs while you’re away. My previous work experience is primarily in pediatric care for children with autism but I’m currently between jobs and have a completely open schedule until the beginning of 2026. Wherever and whenever you need me I will be there! My own pets currently are an American Bobtail cat who requires medication for urinary issues every day and a German Shepherd-Husky mix which naturally requires more exercise than the average dog. I’m very accustomed to “higher” maintenance animals and with more extensive routines and don’t mind putting in the extra labor of love for any animal. I have been the go-to pet sitter of my friends and family since middle school with a reputation for reliability and loving care. I have a large range of animal experience including pets that require more specialized and delicate care such as exotic, young, or senior pets. If I stay with your pet in your home you will return as if I was never there to a clean home and a happy pet.
About: I’ve always had dogs around since I was a little kid & I’ve yet to meet one I didn’t like! I have a lot of free time and have spent much time dropping in on friends’ and family’s animals during work-hours for playtime, walks, potty breaks, playdates with my pooch, etc. I am a self-employed musician with usually way too much free time while others have to be at work- help me fill my schedule with walks, potty breaks, and playtime while you work, and housesitting when you travel! :) My current dog is a Dane-Lab mix with a ton of personality who is very social and could be requested for play dates. Having said this I am not intimidated by large breeds with puppy energy, I’ve seen it all! And I know how important proper situational control and planning is in ensuring dogs are safe and comfortable.
About: It’s been rough - three rainbow bridge trips in short order. I need more time before I go down that road again, but in the meantime, I will happily love your dog (or cat, or parrot, or lizard, or...?) as if s/he were my own. I have a special fondness for seniors and special needs, but I’m game for anything. And, who doesn’t like puppies and an in-the-prime-of-lifer?? Ornery, shy, suspicious, or complicated personalities happily embraced. I am patient and sensitive to the fact that some animals need lots of closeness and reassurance while others need their space. I’m willing to work to earn their trust and set appropriate boundaries to earn yours. The pet and owner and I will work together to set the terms of our relationship, and I promise to be a most excellent guardian catering to each individual’s needs. My most consistent regular obligation is a daily trip to the barn to take care of my horse, but if needed, I have alternate coverage. I try to keep my presence low profile while I’m there. I appreciate the trust that comes with visiting in someone else’s home. When you come home, it’s nice for everyone if you can barely tell I was there.
About: I’ve been caring for horses, dogs, cats, chickens and yes even cows my whole life and as my kids have become adults I’d love to offer some of my new found free time to your pets as well on temporary basis when needed for vacations, long days away or check in’s or walks when you’re gone overnight or for trips out of town. As a 42 yr old empty nester who can only walk and hike and rollerblade with my dog so much I’d love to use some of my available time to help others with their pets! About: I am definitely the person that gravitates towards the fur babies at social gatherings. I experience with my own dogs and cats, AND petsit for friends. I have two dogs and a cat currently. I'm happy to host your dog as long as they're non-aggressive and non marking around other animals. I'm currently working part-time, but have a lot of availability for watching your pets.
