“Brian did a great job checking in on Mochi when I had to work all day. He took him for a walk and made sure he went potty. Gave Mochi lots of treats and attention! Thanks again ?”

About: I have had at least one pet my entire life. I am as passionate about Cats as I am Dogs. I recently lost my 15 year old Dachshund. He was the love of my life ( sorry Husband). Currently we have three Senior Dogs. We would have more if we had a bigger home. I recently left my position as a Client Care Supervisor at a local Animal Hospital. I was there for twelve years and it was by far the best work experience I have ever had. I adore Senior Cats, Kittens and every Cat in between those life stages. Same with Dogs. Senior Dogs delight me as much as any Puppy. Any Animal in my presence is immediately my favorite Animal. During my years at the Animal Hospital I was never medically trained . I did however learn to recognize symptoms of common medical issues and signs that a Pet needs immediate medical attention. I would love to make your Pet ( or Pets ), my new Best Friend. I am currently unemployed while I participate in an advanced 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training. I have a fairly flexible daytime, night and weekends schedule. I would like to meet any pets and their owners before walking them or house sitting. I would adhere to the pet owner’s standard of care. I will provide as many photos and updates as the pet owner wants.

“Rachael is very reliable, she’s always on time and spends more time with my dog than she has to which shows that she really cares and wants to make sure my dog is well taken care of while I’m at work.”

“I would highly recommend Maelee. She has walked Scout multiple times now and is always on time and a great communicator. Plus the cute pictures after the walk are always an added bonus 😊”

About: I absolutely love working with dogs! I have at least 9 years of experience taking care of dogs and cats! I volunteered in the cattery in Humane Society and walking dogs as well. I work remotely and can flex my schedule to spend time watching pets or walking your dog. I am very flexible and I can easily work with your scheduling. I have a backyard, but I prefer to walk dogs frequently and take them outside myself for fresh air and outdoor play. We have only 1 pet rabbit, and keep him separated when there is a furry house guest.

About: Hi! I’m a proud husky dad who recently moved to Grand Rapids and I’m excited to meet all the fluffy friends in the area. I believe every dog deserves kindness, structure, and a bit of fun along the way. My style? Positive reinforcement with clear boundaries—lots of praise, gentle guidance, exercise, and treats (when earned!). Whether your pup needs a calm walk, some high-energy play, or just someone who gets their quirks, I’m here for it. In my free time, I volunteer at the local shelter walking dogs and helping out however I can. I’ve raised my husky since he was 4 months old—so I understand the ups and downs of house training, daily exercise, and building trust. From basic obedience to fun tricks like “play dead,” I’ve trained my own dog with patience and love. I aim to create a safe, relaxed, and fun environment where dogs feel at home—even when they’re away from it. If you’re looking for someone who’ll treat your dog like family, I’d love to help. Let me know what your pup needs—I’ll take care of the rest. 🐾 As a house dad, I have a flexible and consistent schedule while my partner works full time. I’m available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM, which makes me a great fit for weekday walks, drop-in visits, or play sessions. I’m looking to use that time for something active and meaningful—and spending it with dogs is the perfect way. Please note: I’m currently unavailable for boarding, but I’m happy to provide dependable daytime care during the week. I know how much your dog means to you—mine means the world to me too. I keep things calm and easy so your pup feels safe and relaxed. I take my time, earn their trust, and make sure they’re comfortable and happy the whole time we’re together.

About: I have 10 years of experience taking care of pets! I have walked puppies, middle aged, and elderly dogs, and I love hanging out with cats as well. I am reliable, punctual, and attentive. I’m excited to meet your pet! As a recent college grad, I take care of cats and dogs in my time off from work to make some extra money on the side doing something I love :) I will follow your instructions for drop-in visits in your home and/or walks. Let me know what is best for your pet and I will do my best to follow that!

About: I’ve cared for animals of all sizes and personalities — from tiny lap dogs to powerful Akitas, and from playful kittens to senior cats with medical needs. With 28 years of experience, I’m confident handling a wide range of temperaments, energy levels, and routines. My wife, Natalie, often helps with visits too, so your pets can get to know and trust us both. Whether it’s giving medication, going on long walks, scooping litter boxes, or just offering some extra love and attention, we treat every pet like they’re part of the family. Our goal is always to make them feel safe, happy, and cared for. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether it's regular walks, feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’m able to tailor my routine around their needs. Pet care fits naturally into my day; I genuinely enjoy it and always make it a priority! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort always come first. I follow any routines or instructions closely to help pets feel at ease and keep their environment familiar. I make sure they’re never left unattended for long, always have access to fresh water, and get plenty of love and attention. I also keep spaces clean, secure, and calm; whether it’s cozy nap time or active playtime, I aim to create a stress-free, loving environment.

“Gretchen has a real love that for animals which shows. She was flexible when I had plans change, and spent extra time with my pets, even showing extra concern for the security of my home. I’ll definitely be booking her again and highly recommend her to take care of your family!”

“Madison is really patient and sweet with my 3-year-old Boxer, Sophie. Madison's communication is great and she's very reliable. I am so happy that I found someone I trust to walk my dog. Sophie's had 4 walks with Madison so far, and she gets so excited when she knows Madison is coming to get her!”

About: I have close attention to detail, which is important when caring for pets. I’m able to identify behavior and appetite changes and provide proper care. I am patient, kind & caring. I have an open schedule during the summertime. When I’m not caring for others’ animals, I’m spending time loving on my own cat and often caring for my MIL’s senior dog. I pay close attention not only to giving your pet lots of love, but also their behaviors and appetite to ensure they are healthy & happy. I love to take dogs for walks and provide a comfortable and clean environment for cats & dogs. Pets can sometimes be apprehensive when meeting a new caregiver, so it’s important to be patient & kind as they get to know me and become comfortable.

About: I seem to be a magnet for anxious dogs and cats! Both my senior cat and adolescent dog have behavioral issues/anxiety, and while it has its challenges, I find bonding with these guys can be the most rewarding experience. Between slow, gentle movements, not rushing a bond, and having lots of treats on hand, I've learned that "difficult" personalities don't always have to be so hard. I work 8-5 on weekdays, with Mondays and Fridays being working-from-home days. I can easily incorporate lunch-time and evening visits into my schedule during the week with open availability on weekends. After adopting an anxious/reactive dog, my partner and I have invested countless hours into a training program that works for us. Through this experience, I've learned the power of positive reinforcement, consent for touch, and patience even when it's the most difficult to find it. I'm a huge believer in redirecting unwanted behavior rather than punishment of any kind. Love and respect is the driving force behind all of my interactions with animals!

About: I have a lifetime of animal care experience and have been running my little business, Pet Care Partners, LLC, since 2019 and have offered a variety of services. I currently offer dog walking, dog training, day time drop ins for dogs, cats and critters and dog boarding in my home. I live with my husband and our children ages 14 and 11 who help me care for the doggos who stay with us. I'm passionate about providing excellent care for your pet and frequent communication with you. I require an in person Meet and Greet before committing to caring for a new dog to make sure this is a great fit for all involved. Please inquire at least 2 weeks before you need care so we have plenty of time to meet beforehand. I work part time hours and typically have availability 7 days a week. For drops in your home, I am available between the hours of 9:00am and 7:00pm so my services are the best fit for cats, critters and doggos are who are just alone for the day. I always require a meet and greet for new clients, so please inquire at least 2 weeks in advance if you are new to Pet Care Partners! I have a fenced in backyard, and protocols around doors to prevent escapes. We prepare our home for the well-being of each individual dog guest. For example if your dog loves to play with plush dog toys I will leave plenty out! If your dog is at risk for swallowing toys and getting hurt I will put them away during his visit.

About: i’ve raised newborn puppies before. i know how stressful it is to find a sitter and work a full time job. money isn’t the main thing for me, i care for animals soo much and understand the stress that comes with them sometimes. i work on friday - sunday (7am-7pm) but i am free between sunday evening through Thursday evening. or after 7pm on the weekend. so i am very flexible my basement is very open and the back slider door leads to the backyard that is not fenced in. but i do have a 20 foot lead they could be attached to to roam around.

About: I’ve taken care of pets other than my own since seven years old. From family, to friends, to neighbors. Good with pets of all ages, phenomenal at getting stubborn senior pups to eat their food. I am currently a full-time student, with most classes landing in the 8am-4pm range. There is usually a break between, so I am available for mid-day walks/visits! I am available on some holidays. I currently live with my anti-pet parents, so caring for pets in my clients home is ideal. This is much less stressful on the pet, having their familiar environment. I am non-invasive and will respect any requests you have for my time in your home.

Melissa S.
“The very first meeting with Melissa demonstrated her love of, and compassion for, animals. She immediately sat on the floor and took a "selfie" with my dog, Tadpole, a Clumber Spaniel. On their walks, Melissa has taken SO many pictures-- not because I requested them, but because she was completely engaged in the experience. I hired a dog walker because I was recovering from hip replacement surgery. Melissa has been a blessing. She is so enthusiastic, energetic, and caring-- I feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a gem for dog care! I would trust her for pet sitting, without reservation.”

Nowinza P.
“I wholeheartedly recommend Nowinza as a pet sitter ! He has always shown such care, thoughtfulness, and genuine gentleness in everything he does. His love for animals is clear in the way he interacts with them—calm, patient, and full of affection. Nowinza is also a proud dog owner himself, and it shows in how naturally and confidently he handles pets. Anyone would be lucky to have Nowinza looking after their pet!”

Megan V.
“Megan regularly cares for our dog, Winnie. She loves animals and is always considerate of their well-being. She is a conscientious care-taker, never forgetting walks or feedings. She is one of Winnie’s favorite people. Meg is definitely an animal lover and someone that you can totally trust with you pets.”

CALI B.
“Cali is a Wonderful person. She loves all animals, especially cats! She has been loving and kind to my Akita, Kingston. Her heart is big and just full of love for these sweet creatures in our lives.”

Nikki P.
“Nikki is a loving and kind individual, not only others around her but to animals. I’ve known Nikki for 10 years and her love and empathy for animals only grew. She provides the best care when dog sitting and even her own dog, always paying attention to the small details such as their moods and behavior because they’re her priority. She loves spending time with them, going on walks and making sure they aren’t just fed, but making sure they’re stimulated and having a good time. Nikki is dependable, reliable and responsive, always giving updates about how the dog(s) are doing which includes what adventures she plans on having with them. While she’s making sure they’re having a good time, 10 out of 10 times, she’s also enjoying every second.”

Carolyn P.
“Carolyn watched my two dogs for 10 days while I was traveling. She took wonderful care of them and it was so great knowing they were safe while I was gone!
