About: ***HOUSE SITTING REQUESTS PLEASE READ BELOW - MY DOG HOUSE SITS WITH ME *** Hey there, thank you for checking out my page! My name is Joie, I am 24 and I have a huge heart for animals. I just graduated from Grand Valley State University for Wildlife Biology and Natural Resources Management. I have always loved animals since I was a kid, and now I have a dog and a cat of my own. I started dog sitting before Rover for friends and neighbors and since then I have loved the job and wanted to help others in the community! I have always been super involved with animals, I have lots of volunteering under my belt at John Ball Zoo and through GV's Pre-Vet club. I've also previously worked hands on with hundreds of patients at two vet offices. I'd love to hang out with your pets, play, cuddle and pose for photos! (Check out my posted photos to get an idea of the pics you’d receive if you booked with me!) If you're interested in booking with me, just know that I'm working full-time, but as long as we stay in communication, we can work out a plan that suits both of us. I try to be as flexible, reliable, and dedicated to providing the best care for your pets as I can be. *** HOUSE SITTING DISCLAIMER *** I want to be as transparent as possible about my house sitting services. Since I have my own dog, she will be coming with me for this service. This might not make me the best fit for every household, especially if there are pets or people who might not be comfortable with another dog in the space. I always prioritize the comfort and well-being of your home and pets, so if this arrangement isn’t ideal, I completely understand. Rosie is a 5yo, 50lb high-energy dog who is trained and has been well-socialized at dog parks and helping me with house sitting. She loves to play and also does great around cats. If you’re interested, we can arrange a meet-and-greet to ensure everyone gets along. Pet care is second nature to me and is a part of my and my animals' everyday life. Once I learn your pet's routine, each visit will flow even more smoothly than the last! I like to make sure that both the pets and the owner know that they are in good hands. Good communication is key! It definitely helps the stay go smoothly.

“Hawra was phenomenal with our puppy! We have a 2 month old energetic little one and hawraa was able to immediately connect with him. Not to mention she was early and extremely flexible! Definitely would book her again!”

“Michelle was great! She was very responsive when we were gone and took great care of our dog and house. We would love to have her dog sit again.”

“Molly was a fantastic house sitter! She was so easy to communicate with and was very trustworthy, which is needed when someone else is staying at your house. I always miss my dogs when I’m away but was put at ease knowing Molly and Izzy where there to keep them company and to keep them safe.”

About: Growing up with family dogs to now having one of my own, I am entirely familiar with routine walking, feeding, bathing, transporting and/or administering medications for dogs of all ages. In my 12+ years as a dog/house sitter, I have worked closely with dogs from puppy stage to late senior. From Great Dane to Dachshund, Pit Bull to Poodle, plenty of French Bulldogs and anything in between, I am comfortable meeting your pets' needs in terms of routine and exercise! Whether you are a single dog family, doubled or even tripled, I'm confident in caring for your fur baby. I work best with pets who are able to be alone for up to 8 hours, considering that on Monday-Thursday I am away from the house for up to 8 hours. However, Friday - Sunday I am home and present. I will adapt to whatever familiar rhythm you and your pet have at home. I do my best to mimic the routines you have in place in terms of feeding times, potty breaks, walk and sleep schedule to the best that my own schedule allows.

About: I've taken care of animals for the majority of my life and take pride in giving them the best. I've worked with canines, felines and exotics in the past at my previous jobs. I also worked at a vet clinic and cherished my time with pets and getting to know their owners. It would be my pleasure to offer my services for walks, drop ins and/or house sitting! Right now my schedule is pretty flexible. I do have a few dates I'm booked for already but happy to work with you to get your pet(s) what they need. First and foremost, I want to make sure we are both on the same page for how your home works, what your pet needs and how I can make it the most enjoyable experience for all involved! I want to make sure your pet is comfortable and the least stressed as possible while you're away. I will read your pet's body language, respect their wishes and make sure they're happy. ☺️

Madeline R.
“Maggie (dog) loves Maddie (Rover)! She is my go-to for overnights. When I work long days she often helps with regular feedings, potty breaks, walks and trips to the park. When Maggie had oral surgery this winter, Maddie helped by administering medications and even took Maggie to an emergency vet visit in my absence. 10/10 recommend.”

Tia B.
“Tia is the absolute best! We recently had her come over to let out our German Shorthaired Pointer on a day that my partner and I were going to be gone all day and she did a fantastic job. She was on time and her communication was great. She let out our dog so she could go to the bathroom and run around outside. Tia also played fetch with her for an hour or so. After that she made sure our doggo had water then gave her a kong and put her back in the kennel. I'm very picky about who watches our dog and I'm so happy that Tia is doing this. We had complete peace of mind the entire day we were gone! Additionally, Tia worked as a vet assistant for close to 5 years so she has a lot of experience with all types of pets!”

Allison W.

“This was our first time having Alli housesit and she did a great job keeping us in the loop and taking care of our pets. Looking forward to her next stay!”
