About: I have experience with dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors, including those with special needs and medical conditions. Every animal in my care will be loved, snuggled, and spoiled—or given the space they prefer, depending on their comfort level. My goal is to create a safe and comforting environment for them while you’re away. Hi, My schedule is open, my hours are not limited… accept for Wednesdays. I can watch on Wednesday with advance notice, please and thank you. I will discuss care with the owner one on one, each animal is special and different and the owner will know what is best for their fur baby.

“Was excellent with our extremely active Belgian Malinois. Very satisfied with the service and highly recommended to anyone that needs a good dog sitter. Quite punctual and respectful of our new house. Sent videos of the two of them watching tv which made us even more comfortable in choosing the right sitter.”

“My pug, Dory, loved having Grace stay the night with her while went out of town. Grace was wonderful at communicating before my trip, during and after. So thankful we found her and will use her again.”

“Ceshele stayed with our dogs for the first time this past weekend. The pups had never stayed with anyone except a family member before, so we were not so sure how they would be. Right from the start they were comfortable with her, she let them take their time to warm up to her and to come to her for pets. I think it was a very successful weekend for a first time away, and we can’t wait to have her again.”

“Sherry and her husband were fantastic. They cared for our puppy Maxwell for a week while we were out of town. They addressed all of his needs including medication and diet modifications. As he was recovering from a recent illness. In addition to carrying for Maxwell, they kept our home tidy and were flexible when our flight was canceled and we returned home a day late. Will definitely consider having them care for Maxwell in the future.”

About: As a lifelong dog dad, I have years of experience with my own pets and with others. Being a working author makes home pet sitting is an ideal situation for me. All I need is internet and a place to sit with my laptop. Cuddles from the fur babies always provides inspiration. You can count on responsible care from a guy who has had more life experience than some (a kind way to say older). 🙂 Although I prefer just a few days at a time since I’m married and have my own fur babies, I would consider longer term house sitting for the right situation. I am a working author. This makes my situation flexible and provides my ability to be attentive. I still perform vocals with a jazz band, but that would be blocked off on my schedule as would any book tours. My policy for care of your pets is that you know them best. I hope not to drive you crazy with requests of daily schedule, but routines are important for our fur families. Therefore, I will want to know a typical day and will try to adhere to that as closely as possible. I do not accept pets in my home.

“LOOOOOOOVVVE this girl!!! My pups were upset when I came home and she had to leave :). She sent pics and kept me updated the entire time!!! I’m VERY picky about who I have take care of my “kids” and especially staying at my house - but i WILL be using her again and again!!!!”

“Alicia was perfect for our dog Olsen, a 48 lb Aussiedoodle with lots of energy and separation anxiety. She was on time and very attentive to Olsen’s needs. She cared for Olsen twice during our stay at Holden Beach. We needed her to stay an extra hour one night when we were late getting home She also works as a Veterinarian Technician for a local Veterinarian. You will not go wrong with Alecia!”

About: I was raised on a farm around many different animals. It was always a lot of fun, and a lot of work! My grandmother bred Bichon Frise puppies as well. I would help her often to care for and watch them. Our family loves meeting new people and their pets! Our family recently became a family of five, so I'm home pet sitting full time as of now! We have plenty of time to spend with, and care for your beloved pet! Available most days, and can be flexible to work for whatever your needs may be. My family and I have plenty of open space, as well as a clean home environment. Your pet is always safe under our families care. We do not crate pet's unless requested and they're comfortable with them. We did recently get a regular sized dog lot for outside time and as needed situations such as safety, or when doing yard work so they can be outside with us however, we rarely use. We keep them indoors with us for majority of the time and go on plenty of walks/ runs with the kids!

“Rachel was amazing with our Diggity. He was nervous in a new house with new noises and new surroundings. She was so sweet and patient with him. Gave him lots of walks and attention and sent us pictures and updates. She was wonderful!”

About: I have experience caring for pets of all ages, from playful puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and gentle attention. What sets me apart is my reliability, attentiveness, and genuine love for animals—I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, and providing lots of affection, and I make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while their family is away. I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to start and end my day working from home. I’m home Monday-Friday 10am and before and 4pm and after. On the weekends, I’m home all the time. In a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or cuddle time—so they feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care while keeping their space clean and secure. If caring for pets in my own home, I provide a welcoming and safe environment where they’ll get lots of love, playtime, and supervision. I treat every pet like family, making sure they feel at home and well cared for. I have a partially fenced in yard and two friendly dogs that love to play.

About: 7 years of loving your pets. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — not just as pets, but as companions, teachers, and joy-bringers. I’ve always felt most at peace when I’m surrounded by animals and nature. Whether I’m hiking a quiet trail with a furry friend by my side, playing fetch in an open field, or simply relaxing on a porch after a long day outdoors, I find happiness in the simple, grounded connection that dogs and the natural world provide. I value patience, kindness, and structure — all qualities that guide the way I care for animals. For me, caring for dogs isn't just a job — it’s who I am at my core. I am a dedicated and compassionate animal care professional with hands-on experience in canine enrichment, behavioral observation, and facility operations. At Woof Pack Pet Services in Boone, NC, I served as an Enrichment Counselor, Kennel Attendant, and New Hire Trainer, where I led tailored group enrichment sessions to promote dogs' mental well-being, trained new staff in safe and effective animal handling protocols, and developed individualized care plans for dogs with medical or behavioral needs. I also administered medications, monitored health changes, and maintained strong communication with both clients and veterinary professionals to ensure timely care. At Mills River Dog Camp in Mills River, NC, I expanded my leadership skills as a Shift Supervisor, managing the daily care of over 50 dogs, supervising staff, and implementing training and de-escalation strategies for anxious or reactive dogs. I’m experienced in maintaining detailed health and behavior records and have consistently prioritized both animal welfare and client satisfaction through attentive care, structured routines, and open communication. When you trust me with your pet, you're not just getting someone who knows how to follow instructions — you're getting someone who genuinely cares. I have extensive hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, including those with medical needs, behavioral challenges, or a little extra anxiety. I treat every animal with the same level of attentiveness, patience, and love that I would want for my own. I believe in clear communication, both with animals and their people, and I always aim to provide peace of mind through consistent care, safety, and respect. Whether your pet needs a playful buddy, a calm presence, or a structured routine, I’m here to ensure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Pet care is an integral part of my life and a true passion. Daily, I dedicate time to understanding and meeting each animal’s unique needs—whether it’s through enrichment activities, administering medications, or simply providing companionship and comfort. Over the years, I’ve developed routines that prioritize the physical and emotional well-being of pets in my care, balancing structured schedules with flexibility to respond to individual behaviors and health changes. Weekly, I continuously update my knowledge on animal behavior and care techniques to ensure the highest quality of service. I am now seeking to turn this dedication into a full-time career where I can combine my hands-on experience, love for animals, and commitment to their welfare to make a meaningful difference every day. I tailor my pet care approach based on the environment and individual needs of each animal. In my home, I create a calm, safe, and engaging space with plenty of enrichment activities, consistent routines, and close monitoring of health and behavior to ensure pets feel comfortable and loved. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their established routines, preferences, and any specific care instructions. I focus on maintaining consistency to reduce stress, providing companionship, administering medications if needed, and keeping the environment clean and secure. Communication with the pet owner is key to ensuring their pet’s needs are met and any concerns are promptly addressed. My priority is always the well-being and happiness of the pet, adapting my care style to create a positive, trusting experience whether at home or theirs.

“Jo was fantastic she kept us updated throughout her stay at our house and we came home to a happy dog and happy home. She took great care of out dog "Cashew" and gave him all the attention any dog could need and the fun pictures she sent kept us feeling good during our trip. I highly recommend using Jo and will be using her services again in the future.”

About: I grew up with family dogs and cats. You name it, we’ve had the breed. From chihuahuas, to huskies, to dobermans, to great danes. Therefore extremely comfortable with all sized fur babies. I have experience with all ages, from puppies as we have bred our great danes years ago, twice, to elderly dogs who are blind and/or deaf. etc. I actually have my own pup, she is a husky. Her name is cora and she is definitely a handful but i am blessed my hands are full with a smart, funny yet stubborn puppy haha. I also have cats, lazy fat house cats haha. I was looking for job opportunity that will allow me flexibility, work with fur babies (may or may not like them better then humans haha) and to be a mom to my 10 months old daughter as well, that is why i am pursuing Rover in hopes i can do it all at once. Looking forward to meeting your fur babies soon :) My pets daily care is naturally apart of my daily routine, she is family. Not just an animal. Animals cannot fend for themselves, it is important to me that my animals feel important, instead of a burden. My husky, Cora, is walked every two hours and fed two meals a day and has access to water 24/7. I am flexible to learn other animals schedules and eating times, as every animal is different.

About: I love all animals, and I really enjoy outdoor activities, so I work well with energetic animals, but I am happy to take care of just about any kind or size of animal. I am off of work from Sunday to Tuesday, so those days typically work best for me to give my full attention to any animals. I am in an apartment, so watching animals at their original home typically works best for me, but I could make watching animals at my apartment work.

“I couldn’t be happier with the care Kaitlyn gave my pets! I have a very energetic chorkie and a shy cat, and somehow they both warmed up instantly! My chorkie usually takes a while to trust new people, but he was wagging his tail and curling up in her lap by the first evening. My cat, who tends to hide from visitors, even came out for chin scratches! I received daily updates with pictures, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that my pets weren’t just being watched, they were truly loved and cared for. I came home to two happy relaxed animals, and I know I will be booking with Kaitlyn again without hesitation. If you are looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring, I highly recommend her!”

Laura J.
“I’m sure I don’t have enough word space given to write just how wonderful Laura is with animals! I have known Laura for several years and she has loved, cared for and treated my dog, Nala, as her own when in her care. Laura goes above and beyond to make sure all of Nala’s needs were met and exceeded them on a daily basis. Laura made sure Nala had daily enrichment activities in addition to normal walks, etc. Nala loved Laura so much and very much looked forward to having Laura care for her. Laura exudes love and positive energy everyday. You can tell how much she truly loves her job and each dog that is in her care. Laura is beyond dedicated and will go the extra mile to ensure your pet is taken care of like they are one of her own. Laura’s love for animals shines through with how much Nala always loved play time with Laura. I cannot recommend Laura enough! She is the most trustworthy and devoted person to take care of your animal! Without a doubt, Laura would be my go to person whenever you would need pet care! Do not hesitate to book Laura for your pet care needs! She is absolutely amazing!!”
