“Felicia took excellent care of our senior cat Freya on short notice, was communicative and friendly. We received pictures each day we were gone and came home to a calm and relaxed kitty. Many thanks!”

“This is the second time I’ve had Alyssa watch my cats. She’s very attentive to their needs and takes the time and care to make sure they are safe, fed, played with, pet, and brushed. She sends hilarious pictures and it’s clear that she is dedicated to being a great sitter. Anyone who books with Alyssa will not be disappointed!”

Whether your pet needs playtime, cuddles, walks, medication, or extra attention, I’m happy to provide the care they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I treat every pet in my care like one of my own. “Julia went above and beyond for my fur babies, sending photos and videos daily. I felt happy she was there and the pets were very happy she was there. She is willing to work with me when things were up in the air and we worked together to come up with solutions. I can’t recommend her enough.”

“Took great care of our kitties with a very last minute booking after another rover cancelled. Made time for meet and greet and left everything as expected. Would recommend!”

“BEYOND OUR EXPECTATIONS! Linda quickly became attuned to our dogs needs and provided what they were lacking. With her knowledge and good understanding of the surrounding environment in addition to her concern for their safety, she comforted and even trained them, and they in turn expressed contentment as they do only with family. We are grateful for and appreciate all her acts of kindness and cleanliness for both the animals and our home. The sadness we felt during separation from the dogs did dissipate only because of Linda's good communication with us through messages and photo's. It warmed our hearts and eased our minds to see them happy with her as their new, compassionate, reliable and trusted friend. We thank you Linda for your good service and a job well done. We will hire you again when the need arises.”
“Brittany was so wonderful with our new puppy and her new fur parents. :-) She handled our Panda with grace and play time on top of building a great socialization skills. We are so grateful for Brittany.”

“Sarah is fantastic! A great communicator, reliable, friendly!! “Sarah always scratches my butt, plays ball like a pro, and throws down in the kitchen. Best stand-in Mom in town” -Texas”

About: Over two decades of experience taking care of client's dogs, cats and exotics primarily working in client's homes to ensure the companion animals are safe and happy at home. I work in education, so my schedule is extremely flexible this Summer. I would be honored to be trusted carer of your pets and home while you need to be away! I find my expertise is working with client's pets in their own home and consistently maintaining the routine they and their pets are used to.

“I can’t say enough about Holly! We have a very nervous pittie with a lot of trust issues. She made it her mission to be buddies with him while also giving him the space and time he needs. She has been great and has great communication skills! 10/10 recommend!”

“Joyce was so professional while watching my two dogs over a long weekend! She asked to meet the dogs first (which was my preference) and let me spend about 45 minutes going over the instructions for the weekend and getting to know the dogs. She sent 5-7 pictures for every visit and followed up with a message telling me how the dogs were! I really appreciated her professionalism, kindness, and patience, and I’ll be recommending her to any of my friends who need a rover!”

Holly goes above and beyond when caring for our cats! They can be a handful and often get into things, which she always picks up. She even washed a couple of my dishes that got left in the sink. The cats are always well cared for and happy when we get back home

Logan was a great cat sitter. My shy girl Lily was playful and active while we were away. Lily normally hides from new people but not with Logan. My other girl Ellie showed no signs of separation anxiety while we were gone. Logan provided lots of pictures and was on time for every visit. Definitely booking with her again.

Being the holidays, we were struggling to find a sitter until someone recommended rover. I'm so lucky to have found Sara as she took on our last minute request with incredible grace and flexibility. Due to one of our boys having previous health issues, we were worried about leaving them at all. But Sara's experience and communication kept us at ease the entire time we were away!

Brittany took such good care of our senior cats while we were away. I really appreciate the communication and updates she gave us and our normally very shy cats were comfortable around her straight away. We look forward to working with Brittany again next time we need a cat sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
