“Joyce was so professional while watching my two dogs over a long weekend! She asked to meet the dogs first (which was my preference) and let me spend about 45 minutes going over the instructions for the weekend and getting to know the dogs. She sent 5-7 pictures for every visit and followed up with a message telling me how the dogs were! I really appreciated her professionalism, kindness, and patience, and I’ll be recommending her to any of my friends who need a rover!”

About: I have ten years of experience working with dogs and caring for dog at a dog daycare moving my way up to a the top with handling all the dog playgroups and clients. I have been in 4H all my life and care about every animal that I encounter. I'll treat every dog like my own and make sure your pup has a blast and is exercised properly so they come home a happy pup. You will not have to worry about your dog while you are away on vacation or at work because I will ensure that everything is taken care of for you and your dog. A well exercised dog is always a better and happier dog in the end and I would love to help out in every way that I can. I am a stay at home mom due to just moving to Whidbey island but I love working with dogs and other animals so I’m always available to hangout and play with your pups. When I go to a clients home I always check on the dogs water and pick up poop that I see laying around in the backyard if there is any. I always make sure to follow the instructions that the owner leaves behind because nothing is worse then having someone mess up your animals routine!

About: My mother has always been the friend that would take care of everyone's dog or cat ever since I was little. So, I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and learned how to take care of many different breeds, ages and personalities. Once I got my license, my friend's and family friend's entrusted me with taking care of their dogs at their home and had many experiences of house sitting with them. Before joining Rover, I was an employee through the Fetch! dog walking and pet care agency over the summer of 2025. I had my own clientele for which I would walk their dogs' multiple times a week. I also provided extended stays for house sitting in which I frequently took care of multiple dogs at once. I have owned cats my whole life, but dogs have always been a constant in my life as well through these dog sitting experiences and briefly fostering a chihuahua who eventually went to a family friend. I would be so delighted to take care of your dog or cat! Whether that be for walks, check-ins or house sitting, I have a flexible schedule and would love to spend my time with your pets. Their happiness and safety will always come first! I am currently a student at WSU, but I have a flexible schedule to take care of your furbabies. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.
