About: Hello, I first want to tell you how much I believe in the loving bond between animals and humans. I’m very sensitive to the anxiety of the pet and the owner when separation happens. I give the animals in my charge the love and attention they need to become comfortable, relaxed and happy. I approach every animal like I was caring for a child. I have worked with Catholic Community Services , Sunrise Home Care and several hospice patients for over 20+ years on Camano Island and Stanwood. About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats since I was a little kid! Growing up we had dozens of cats/kittens and a black lab who was my best friend. In my adult life, I have been a pet sitter to countless clients, coworkers, family etc. I have experience with dogs and cats both young and old. My schedule is very flexible and I am located near base here in Oak Harbor as my husband is in the Navy. I can’t wait to meet your pet and give them lots of love and care! I am available from around 7am-3pm everyday for walks/check-ins. My husband is in the Navy and we share a vehicle so I’m at the mercy of his schedule but have full availability while he is at work! Safety is always my number one priority when caring for animals. I always take extra care to make sure doors and entryways are secured before entering to avoid anyone escaping and to properly lock doors behind me. About: I’ve cared for both farm and house pets for most of my life. My dream is to have a homestead with as many animals as I can ethically care for. I’ve taught both dogs and my cat different commands and would love would love to learn more things to work on training in the future. I believe mental enrichment is so important to keep animals living a happy life. I’m currently a stay-at-home pet parent so my routine is quite flexible. I try not to be away from home for too long so my dog doesn’t have to be crated for prolonged periods. I just had a fence put into my yard so my dog can run and play off leash. My cat is indoor only and I plan to keep it that way as to keep him from predators. Now that I have a fence I intend to let him out on leash because I really think he would appreciate it. Pet safety is of utmost importance to me because mine are my babies and I would do anything to protect them.

I have excellent dog training skills, having trained my dogs over the years. I've also cared for senior dogs with special needs. I have a large, fenced yard and can offer overnights as long as your dog gets on well with another dog. Here for you and your babies and will make sure they get all the love and attention. 😍 I'm currently working PT from home, so I'll be able to keep your pet safe and will be home for them all day (unless I need to run an errand or something). My routine is easy-drop them off, and I'll handle the rest. I can even transport them if you need help with that. I have a large, dog park-sized yard that is fenced. If your dog isn't an escape artist, they will be fine here. Lot of room to run and play. :) I can always walk them or be with them when outside should you prefer that. I have a 6yo large dog who loves other dogs and will enjoy company. Dogs at my house can be on the furniture or the bed, or crated as you desire. I know what it is like to leave your baby, so I am happy to care for them in any way you'd like. I can do a 25-30 min walk with them in my neighborhood, and or I can let them run in the yard with a ball or a frisbee. You let me know! If you need me to come to you, no problem. I can come check on them, walk them, play with them, or whatever you need!
