“Sheena took great care of our 4-month old puppy and 4-year old Moodle. We did a meet and greet and our nervous puppy liked her immediately. During our trip, we got pictures and updates whenever we asked for them as Sheena responded quickly. When we picked them up, we got a full report of everything they did with a wonderful update on eating, playing, pooping, etc. Sheena is very experienced and provided dog and child socialization for our puppy in a safe and structured environment. The pups came home tired, well-behaved, and very happy. As a bonus, we paid Sheena to do a little nail trimming since she is a professional groomer as well. Highly recommend Sheena and we will certainly be back!”

About: While I may be new to professional pet sitting, my husband and I have been dog owners for nearly 10 years, and our kids have grown up loving and caring for animals, so having pets around is a normal part of our family life. Caring for our own dog has given us a lot of hands-on experience with special dietary needs, administering medication, daily walks, and basic grooming. We understand how important it is to trust the people caring for your pet, and we will treat every pet in our care like they’re part of our own family. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom and homeschool my 3 kids, so we’re home quite a bit! Daily walks are already part of our normal routine, and we’ll be happy to include your pup. There will also be plenty of time for play, attention, and snuggles throughout the day. The longest we typically leave the house is about 3–4 hours, and that’s no more than twice a week. We have a fenced backyard. It is on the smaller side, but there is still plenty of room for a little play and fresh air. We also have baby gates in place to keep our toddler safely in areas where we can supervise him, and those will also be used to help keep pets safely separated when needed. We want every pet in our care to feel comfortable, safe, and at home while they’re with us.

“About 1-1/2 months ago, we brought in a stray cat who was very scared of everything. Unfortunately, we had previously planned a 10 day trip and so were concerned as to what to do about our new cat, Percy. We searched online and discovered Rover. Bridgette, who does pet sitting through Rover, agreed to be at our home over the 10 day period when we would be gone. We are grateful that Bridgette was able to stay 24 hours a day as Percy was just too new to be left alone for long periods of time. We were delighted with the work she did for us. She was very responsible and we felt comfortable leaving her in charge of our home and Percy. Bridgette is very sweet and soft-spoken which was perfect for our anxious cat. He was very wary of her and hid away for much of the time, but Bridgette continued to care for his needs, plus her presence in our home must have given him a sense of companionship. Percy was starting to warm up to her and we are confident Bridgette will win him over as we definitely plan to use her in the future. We highly recommend Bridgette and Rover.”

About: I have owned pets my whole life and know the proper care for animals, I’ve had all sorts of pets, turtles, lizards, rabbits, chickens, ducks, cats, and dogs. I currently have a 2 year old Aussie/heeler mix. She has high energy so I’m used to taking her on walks or playing with her outside. We also love to go to the dog park to get energy out. About: I have taken care of just about every type of animal since I was young (dogs, cats, horses, birds, fish, hedgehogs, gerbils, snakes, etc.) I've trained and raised several puppies and kittens. The majority of the animals in my life were adult animals and if they were family pets, they stayed with us until it was time to cross the rainbow bridge so I also have a fair amount of experience with senior care as well. I grew up with no less than 4 animals in the house at all times, so I'm very good with multiple-pet households, but I currently live in a household with only one dog, so I am also comfortable doting on just one at a time :) I am currently available 24/7 and this is my primary career! I genuinely enjoy being around animals, and spending time with them is something I look forward to throughout the week. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I make sure pets are always supervised, comfortable, and kept in a calm environment where they feel secure. In a client's home, I carefully follow the pet's normal routine for feeding, walks, medications, and playtime so they experience as little disruption as possible. I also pay close attention to behavior and body language to make sure pets are feeling safe and happy. I respect my clients' homes and keep spaces clean, secure doors and gates, and communicate regularly with updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are being well cared for.
About: I grew up with a Pomeranian and cared for him through his senior years, so I know the extra patience and gentleness older pets need. I also raised my brother’s kitten to adulthood and have dog sat for relatives and cat sat for friends and coworkers, from playful puppies to shy kitties. What sets me apart is that pets have never been a side interest for me. Pets have been a part of my daily life since childhood, and I treat every animal like my own! As a student, my schedule gives me a good amount of flexibility during the week, so pet care fits in naturally rather than being squeezed in around a rigid 9-to-5. I can build feeding, walks, and playtime into my day without rushing, and I have the free time to give each pet real attention, not just a quick check-in. That flexibility also means I can adjust to a pet’s routine instead of asking them to adjust to mine. I only provide care in the client’s home, since I think pets do best staying in their own familiar environment, surrounded by their usual smells, sounds, and routine instead of the stress of a new space. When I’m there, I stick closely to the pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime, and I make sure to spend real one-on-one time with them, not just handle the basics. I also keep an eye on anything that seems off whether it’s their appetite, energy, or behavior so I can flag it to the owner right away.
About: I have taken care of my dog for several months, kept up with his training and spend time playing. Puppies need extra attention to grow into healthy adults. Adults need just as much affection and some play time. I work full-time weekdays but I am available in the evenings. Saturdays are free for me to play with dogs and take care of them. I can manage keeping up with a dogs training and take care of their needs at the same time! Who needs their dogs loved on or watched over?

About: Hi, I'm Trisha! I have been married for a little over 5 years to my husband Shawn. I have 2 children, a 10 year old boy, named Orion, and my daughter Kaylee, who would have been 22 years old, unfortunately she passed away from a car accident in 2020. I grew up in a little country town in CA. And was raised with animals. My grandpa was a big animal lover, and we had everything from a baby bear cub to kittens. I was in FFA for 4 years and raised a pig all 4 years to sell at the fair. Shawn is from the Arlington area and was also raised with animals. He has raised everything from goats to kittens. We feel that your pets aren't just pets, but more like a child, and we know the importance of finding the right care for your Fur-Babies. A majority of the pets we have cared for have been rescue pets. The the transition for them is hard enough as it is being left at a stranger's house, and we don't want to make that transition any more difficult for them. We ask that you bring an item with them, something that they associate with you and home. Also we ask for these items as well: food, food bowl, and water bowl, bed or bedding, toys they may want to play with, treats, and of course a daily interaction log ( we want to keep them on the same routine that they are use to, or as close to it as we can) I also try and send pictures daily, but in the off chance I miss a day, I send extra shots the next day. If we sound like a good fit for you, we are always happy to set up a meet and greet at our place for introductions. (We have also taken in fur-kids without meet and greets.) About: Hello! I am new to Rover but have plenty of pet care experience. I have been an animal lover my whole life and have been taking care of pets for as long as I can remember! When I was 16 I got a job working as a kennel tech at a vet clinic and discovered working with pets is my true passion. I went on to work as a kennel tech at a much larger facility where I stayed for multiple years, then most recently was employed as a veterinary assistant. I have experience with cats, birds, reptiles and some small mammals as well, but have mostly worked with dogs. I often pet sit for family and friends and I have 4 of my own fur babies as well, so I understand how deep the love for a pet is and promise to take the best care of your babies. About: I have worked at veterinarians, pet stores, and animal shelters, with pets of all kinds. I love walkng, cuddling and hanging out with all dogs. I’m a stay at home mom on a farm. I love spending time with my animals and also have a Sniffspot so other dogs can enjoy our space. When your dog first gets here they can smell around all the new smells and then decide if they want to interact with the other animals or not. I supervise any interactions to keep everyone safe. All dogs are welcome to be inside or outside. We have 5 fully fenced acres.

“Sheena took great care of our 4-month old puppy and 4-year old Moodle. We did a meet and greet and our nervous puppy liked her immediately. During our trip, we got pictures and updates whenever we asked for them as Sheena responded quickly. When we picked them up, we got a full report of everything they did with a wonderful update on eating, playing, pooping, etc. Sheena is very experienced and provided dog and child socialization for our puppy in a safe and structured environment. The pups came home tired, well-behaved, and very happy. As a bonus, we paid Sheena to do a little nail trimming since she is a professional groomer as well. About: While I may be new to professional pet sitting, my husband and I have been dog owners for nearly 10 years, and our kids have grown up loving and caring for animals, so having pets around is a normal part of our family life. Caring for our own dog has given us a lot of hands-on experience with special dietary needs, administering medication, daily walks, and basic grooming. We understand how important it is to trust the people caring for your pet, and we will treat every pet in our care like they’re part of our own family. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom and homeschool my 3 kids, so we’re home quite a bit! Daily walks are already part of our normal routine, and we’ll be happy to include your pup. There will also be plenty of time for play, attention, and snuggles throughout the day. The longest we typically leave the house is about 3–4 hours, and that’s no more than twice a week. We have a fenced backyard. It is on the smaller side, but there is still plenty of room for a little play and fresh air. We also have baby gates in place to keep our toddler safely in areas where we can supervise him, and those will also be used to help keep pets safely separated when needed. We want every pet in our care to feel comfortable, safe, and at home while they’re with us.
