About: Owned and cared for pets, which were mostly dogs & cats (but also snakes, rabbits, a chicken, etc., my entire life . Currently have one neutered male who loves a playmate to chase around the yard. Currently working part-time so I’m fully available to pamper your pets on my days off. Need a daily walk and love furry company. I have a fenced yard and a friendly, active, snuggle dog who likes someone to chase him around the yard. After, he will head to the couch for a snooze. About: Growing up around a large quantity of dogs taught me very quickly what they need. I have never not had a dog or cat in my life, and I understand that pets are family. I already go on daily walks and am used to feeding my dog so the needs of other pets would fit very easily into my life. About: I have taken care of just about every type of animal since I was young (dogs, cats, horses, birds, fish, hedgehogs, gerbils, snakes, etc.) I've trained and raised several puppies and kittens. The majority of the animals in my life were adult animals and if they were family pets, they stayed with us until it was time to cross the rainbow bridge so I also have a fair amount of experience with senior care as well. I grew up with no less than 4 animals in the house at all times, so I'm very good with multiple-pet households, but I currently live in a household with only one dog, so I am also comfortable doting on just one at a time :) I am currently available 24/7 and this is my primary career! About: Hello! I am new to Rover but have plenty of pet care experience. I have been an animal lover my whole life and have been taking care of pets for as long as I can remember! When I was 16 I got a job working as a kennel tech at a vet clinic and discovered working with pets is my true passion. I went on to work as a kennel tech at a much larger facility where I stayed for multiple years, then most recently was employed as a veterinary assistant. I have experience with cats, birds, reptiles and some small mammals as well, but have mostly worked with dogs. I often pet sit for family and friends and I have 4 of my own fur babies as well, so I understand how deep the love for a pet is and promise to take the best care of your babies. I am currently unemployed so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! About: Hi, I'm Trisha! I have been married for a little over 5 years to my husband Shawn. I have 2 children, a 10 year old boy, named Orion, and my daughter Kaylee, who would have been 22 years old, unfortunately she passed away from a car accident in 2020. I grew up in a little country town in CA. And was raised with animals. My grandpa was a big animal lover, and we had everything from a baby bear cub to kittens. I was in FFA for 4 years and raised a pig all 4 years to sell at the fair. Shawn is from the Arlington area and was also raised with animals. He has raised everything from goats to kittens. We feel that your pets aren't just pets, but more like a child, and we know the importance of finding the right care for your Fur-Babies. A majority of the pets we have cared for have been rescue pets. The the transition for them is hard enough as it is being left at a stranger's house, and we don't want to make that transition any more difficult for them. We ask that you bring an item with them, something that they associate with you and home. Also we ask for these items as well: food, food bowl, and water bowl, bed or bedding, toys they may want to play with, treats, and of course a daily interaction log ( we want to keep them on the same routine that they are use to, or as close to it as we can) I also try and send pictures daily, but in the off chance I miss a day, I send extra shots the next day. If we sound like a good fit for you, we are always happy to set up a meet and greet at our place for introductions. (We have also taken in fur-kids without meet and greets.) Drop off and pick up are as followed: Drop Offs: before 6:30am are an additional $10.00 Pick ups: after 8pm will be an additional $1.00 per minute unless prior arrangements have been made with Shawn or myself. About: I have worked at veterinarians, pet stores, and animal shelters, with pets of all kinds. I love walkng, cuddling and hanging out with all dogs. I’m a stay at home mom on a farm. I love spending time with my animals and also have a Sniffspot so other dogs can enjoy our space. When your dog first gets here they can smell around all the new smells and then decide if they want to interact with the other animals or not. I supervise any interactions to keep everyone safe. All dogs are welcome to be inside or outside. We have 5 fully fenced acres.
