“Virginia was my first Rover sitter, and I was very pleased with her service. I don't go away very often for just a dew days. Usually, I'm gone for a couple weeks at a time and find live-in sitters through Trusted Housesitters. My two cats are indoor outdoor, and that complicates their care. For my three day leave, my neighbor came over in the morning to put down their morning kibble and let the cats outside. Virginia came over in the late afternoon on her way to pick up her kids from school. She would call them inside for the night and put down their wet food. I wasn't sure it would work since they don't always come inside when I call them in the evening. Virginia sent me pictures each day of the cats inside during her 30 minute visit, so I was reassured. I will definitely look for Virginia again if I need to be gone for a few days.”

My family and I have moved all over the US and are now back in Washington! I used to run a fully operational boarding facility and board and train program in Island County and have decided to start out slow now that we're settled back in our home state. I have 20 years of experience training dogs- 15 of those years being a paid, licensed and insured professional. I take the utmost care of any animal in my charge. I treat them like family and honor all the requests made by owners to ensure their pet is treated perfectly when they are gone! I understand the love and care people have for their animals and do everything I can to show that same level of care when they are under my watch. I take videos and photos regularly to keep families updated, as well! I am a SAHM with decades of experience in the canine world. My dogs, and my clients, are my life. They are my whole routine! My times are very flexible and have often done combo stays- where your dog stays the night with me and I drive it to your home during the day and pick up again in the evening. This works well for senior dogs or puppies who need monitoring over night.

About: I’ve been around all animals almost all my life and have always had the biggest love for them. I have also worked at veterinary offices and love almost every part of it :) I am currently doing online courses for school at skagit valley college and have an open schedule to help out with any type of animal care :) I have a fully fenced back yard that dogs would love and hardwood floors inside my house for when they are inside.
