“Stella and Rachel are fabulous cat-sitters! They came over for a meet-n-greet before we went on vacation and gave us confidence that they were a good fit for us and our two furry kids, and trustworthy to turn over my house to them. They are very conscientious of what is needed and providing love and affection to the kids. The pics from each visit and detailed write-ups were wonderful and comforting. I will definitely be using them again!”

“Kelsey was very responsive and texted great updates and photos during his drop-in visits for our cat and dog. He even sent me the screenshots of his walking length and route from Strava when he took our dog out for walks. I will definitely book with Kelsey again!”

About: *We do not accept bookings that give less than 48 hour notice from the start date. Sorry!* I am a professional dog trainer and breeder of Australian Shepherds. My family and I have moved all over the US and are now back in Washington! I used to run a fully operational boarding facility and board and train program in Island County and have decided to start out slow now that we're settled back in our home state. I have 20 years of experience training dogs- 15 of those years being a paid, licensed and insured professional. I take the utmost care of any animal in my charge. I treat them like family and honor all the requests made by owners to ensure their pet is treated perfectly when they are gone! I understand the love and care people have for their animals and do everything I can to show that same level of care when they are under my watch. I take videos and photos regularly to keep families updated, as well! I am a SAHM with decades of experience in the canine world. My dogs, and my clients, are my life. They are my whole routine! I am equipped to manage all varieties of dogs from the easiest house guest to dog aggressive cases or complicated medical needs. I tailor my services to each individual dog to give them the best possible care and allow their people to have some freedom and know their dog is well cared for. I make sure to chat with owners and let them know what variety of boarding I offer is most suitable for their dog. I am able to make multiple daily trips to feed, potty and play with client dogs in their homes. My times are very flexible and have often done combo stays- where your dog stays the night with me and I drive it to your home during the day and pick up again in the evening. This works well for senior dogs or puppies who need monitoring over night.
About: Caring for pets has always been one of my favorite things to do. I’ve been looking after cats and dogs since I was 10 years old, starting with walking my parents’ dog. Now, I have two indoor cats of my own who keep me busy and entertained every day. I make sure they stay active with plenty of playtime, attention, and cuddles, while also creating a calm and loving environment for them. I currently have open availability and a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide dependable, attentive pet care throughout the week, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. I’m dependable, respectful, and always follow pet care instructions closely. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for with plenty of playtime and attention.
About: I have patience when it comes to animals. If they are happy then I am happy. :) I am very active, love running, walking, being outdoors. I am accommodating to your pets needs. Whether they are indoor only, have strict diet structures, I can help make sure they are taken care of and happy My schedule is flexible with the exception of some weekends when I work my part time job managing road running races. I do not have children so being around animals brings me great joy. I have a 4 year old golden retriever and an 11 year old orange tabby that is indoor only. They are my whole world and it brings me so much happiness to provide them their best life possible. I want all animals to feel the same way.
About: I grew up in a large industrious family (the Duntons) full of farm animals, cats, and dogs next to Lake Erie. I’ve taken care of animals throughout my life, and am part of a well-known and trusted large family in the Anacortes area with many well-known, trusted small family businesses (Dunton’s Body Shop, 6th Street Hair Co, Gae’s Drapery, Fidalgo Flower & Co, and more) and can be trusted with your home and pets. Thanks for looking! Fully open schedule. I can adapt to any feeding, behavioral, or exercise schedule your pet or pets may have. This is supplementary income for a fixed income retired situation. Highly skilled pet care from a trusted local family member woven into the Anacortes community. Absolute careful and loving pet care coming from decades of experience. Your pets are in excellent hands!

About: I have been around animals my whole life. I have been taking care/riding horses since I was 3, have 2 dogs (senior & adult), and I have my own leopard gecko! Animals tend to find my calm and collected demeanor comforting. I am a 2026 graduate and this summer I am working part time at Nonna Luisa’s in downtown Anacortes. I don’t start work until 4 and tend to have all of the morning to myself, so why not fill it with animals! I would create a personal pet plan with the owner to fulfill the pets needs. This could be walking, letting them out, or just keeping them company!

About: I believe dogs have the best souls on earth. Enjoy hiking, playing in the yard, or simply being in their space. I also enjoy training from puppy to advanced agility. I’ve trained a couple different types of dogs and a bird ranging in ages. Also able to transport locally to homes, vet, and or parks. My late sweet Pepper dog and I were Project Caine certified as a Therpy team, volunteers at island hospital, and Master Agility Champions. Howards Corner cat parents share their Rover experiences
Our cats love Samantha and we wouldn’t choose anyone else to care for them while we’re away! Samantha went above and beyond to make sure our cat’s automatic feeders were working when technical difficulties came up. Our cats can be shy and standoffish with new people but are totally out of their shells with Samantha! Thank you for another great experience :)

Cassidy was amazing! This was my first time utilizing rover and finding a pet sitter for my cat and I felt like my cat was in great hands with Cassidy. Communication was quick and seamless prior to booking and during the serviced days. I actually had a power outage which warranted an emergency visit which Cassidy was on top of and made an extra trip to check in on my automatic water and feeder. Will definitely be rebooking in the future :)
