Hello! My name is Sam and I am passionate about cats. I have always lived with cats and have felt personal connections with each one. I have been in WA for two years now, and have volunteered at the Humane Society in Burlington for the first year I’ve been here, while it fit in my work schedule. Half of my work was on kennel crew where I cleaned and maintained six rooms of cat kennels, and thee other half was cat socialization and enrichment. There, I made sure each cat in my room was given their own time to play, roam, and relax. I absolutely loved doing this work. I currently have a remote, computer-based job that I can do from anywhere. It is very flexible. What I offer: * Drop-In Visits are 30-60 minutes 1-2x per day, which are best for feeding, cleaning, and some play time. I am available for drop-ins throughout the day. * (Daytime) House Sitting is generally 3+ hours and is best for extended companionship and company. Note that I am only available during the daytime for house sitting, approximately 8am-4pm. My method for care: I understand each cat has their own wants and needs. I give your cat space to allow them to get comfortable with me, and identify what your cats like most, where/how they are most comfortable, etc. I let them set the energy level and boundaries.

Sam was so kind to come over & meet Benny so I could explain our house ahead of time. She watered all of our many pots to keep the plants going in the hot weather, and Benny was happy & relaxed when we got home! She even neatly washed all his cat dishes! 5 stars!
Samantha is very attentive, sends lots of great pictures and updates and my cat always has a great time when she watches him. Always happy when she’s able to watch him.
Samantha was the absolute best cat sitter for our loving 3 year old cat. She spent time with her, took her outside on her leash, and played and cuddled with her. The house was perfect and everything clean and tidy when we came home. Such a relief to know that our kitty was in such good hands. This was our first time having Samantha, but it will definitely not be our last!
Samantha was so wonderful! She took care of our three cats and give us daily update and photos. We really appreciated all her communication. It truly made our trip less stressful not having to worry about our babies.

For booking: Drop-In visits are typically 30-60 minutes 1-2x per day, which are best for feeding, cleaning, and some play time. House Sitting is generally 3+ hours and is best for extended companionship and company. Please note that I am only available for DAYTIME HOUSE SITTING and I am not available overnight.

- Please let me know of your expectations for me outside of food, water, litter box, and enrichment (such as, sensitive stomach/throw up, a special diet, or off-limits places in the house).
